Things they were wrong/lied about:

Letter.

Shanann’s injuries.

Mistress was supposed to speak at sentencing.

I'm sure we'll be hear her speaking soon enough...to any program or rag that will pay her money for her story.

Not that this crime isn’t absolutely horiffic, but if the podcast story was true, it would have shown that Shanann was “brutally beaten” before death.

Back to being serious, you know what I find particularly damning? CW in his life with SW very much seems like the passive partner. I've gotten a passive-aggressive vibe from him and posted about that before. It seems like all the work in the relationship--not just chores but also the maintenance of a relationship--was on her end. I've never gotten the impression that he put half as much effort into his wife and little girls as he did plotting their murder and his mistress getaway. It's not that he was incapable of taking charge or planning or making an effort. He just couldn't be bothered because he didn't want to.

Since this plea deal was announced, many of us have speculated as to why he chose to go that route. I think today we got our answer in the form of that autopsy.

The story he told about Shanann strangling the kids was not supported by their causes of death. His defense lost all viability at this point, although I would argue that it wasn’t viable to begin with.

CW looking at vacation spots, jewelry, and selling the house, was the icing on the cake.

But during this time, Shan'ann was sending CW 'Marriage Guidance' Info.
LE found one of these books in the trash.
CW was not interested in Marriage Guidance.
He was busy going to Restaurants, Sand dunes, Car shows with his next exciting venture.
SW and family, were his past, at that stage, and he planned to eliminate all.
Thank goodness, his ideas did not work.
The Investigators knew 'right from the start' that this evil creep was involved.

I think the girls were in those pajama dresses. They are basically long shirts. My girls have them and I’ve seen cece and Bella in pictures with them on too.

I stopped reading the threads for a long time because I got sick of the people believing his story and defending him. I happened to see today that he was sentenced so I thought I would see what everyone had to say now.
From what I have read on the subject it seems that when a person makes up their mind to murder that they will suddenly act happier. The same thing seems to happen when someone decides to commit suicide. Its like they found the solution so their mood improves. It could be that in those last couple days he was telling SW that he was going to work things out with her. It would have ruined his plans if she suspected anything. He probably was acting happy with the girls as well. He knew his problem was going away soon.
Also, the thing about his parents/family saying bad things about SW. No telling what he said to them about her. He likes to tell lies so he could have filled their heads with all sorts of bad stories and then when he tells them she killed the kids it would make sense to them because of all the things he made up. My husband liked to tell his mother he couldn't talk on the phone because he had to cook dinner, or clean, or do something with the kids. She then decides to go around telling everyone how I do nothing and poor him has to come home from work everyday and take care of everything at home because I am lazy. None of that was true but she thought so because he used it as an excuse to get off the phone. Its also common for men to tell women how awful their wives are when they are interested in having an affair. They will make things up about their wife being mean so the mistress feels sorry for them and thinks the man is confiding in them.

...Coffin birth, or the expelling of a dead foetus from the body, happens due to decomposition - it would not have happened immediately after death, especially since there was no trauma to the abdomen.

That is so horrible. It should gives those who use rumor and "just-suppose" speculation great pause before saying so many of the wretched things that have been said about Shan'ann across social media. It is cripplingly sad to imagine the experiences of all of the victims as they lost their lives, and especially so for Nico.

The monster sounded very weak and meek when he said 'no sir'. He was only a tough guy when killing his baby girls and wife, when faced with men opponents, he wimps.

He doesn't want to die, so he plead. It had nothing whatsoever to do with saving the families any more grief. He knew he would be condemned to death and decided to save himself - like they all do. Coward.

But Justice has been served.
Hope his existence in prison is atrocious, for the remainder of his pathetic life.

OT... Judge Kopcow married my daughter & her first husband. It kept bugging me because I was pretty sure I recognized him from the first appearance in court & I kept forgetting to ask her. So I just now texted her & she said it was him.

We know that he was never completely forthcoming with her, except we don’t know exactly what was shared between the two of them in those early morning hours after she got back from Arizona.


The most important parts of the autopsy

I talked about the injury to Bella that was indicative of being pushed down into those oil tanks, but he had told us that. Those things that I highlighted in court and that we’ve talked about here a little bit today were the most important factors in our determination that he had in fact committed what we charged him with.

What idiot would contact a realtor and talk to friends about selling their home the same day/next day as your family is missing? I just cannot get over how stupid he was.

We are hearing about his premeditated plan, and all the areas he has failed in.
He was in a hurry and wanted money immediately, now that he planned to be a free man, with no ties.
It was easy for him, to dispose of his family, as they were in his way, for a good time.
Thank goodness this jerk will never see a bright future.

The autopsy says T shirt. What she is wearing there looks like a regular summer top.

Ah man. I kind of wish I'd not read that bit about the baby being found outside the body. I hadn't really thought about what happens in that situation before. Grim.

I just told my husband... it made me so sad that their little fingernails & toenails were dirty. In SWs report it specified that hers were dirty with sand & debris, but it didn't state that with the babies which led me to believe theirs were dirty when they died. He didn't even bathe them while SW was gone. So yes, I do think they were neglected while she was gone. Most likely, emotionally & physically. So incredibly sad. It just makes me sick.

They were soaking in crude oil. That's why there was no sand on their toes like on Shanann and Nico. Dirty appearance was probably from the oil (JMO). What made me angry was to read Bella's skin had started to slip off due to decomp. I lost it and skim read the rest of the autopsy reports after that.
