Good point. He had nothing to fear about his hands being on their necks.

No soul in that guy.

And, as horrible as this is to say, thank goodness little Bella did bite her tongue and have the other injury because that helped prove their cause of death!! This case is going to haunt me, more than any other one has.

Where and at what time can we watch the press conference?

I cannot judge CW's parents for saying they forgive him. He is their son, and always will be no matter what he has done. Forgiving him does not condone, excuse, or exonerate his actions, and his parents will suffer greatly due to what their son did. The choice of forgiveness is up to each individual. It is often a very difficult journey. IMO that choice should be respected.

Of course they should forgive him, if they are able to. However, what I judge was their choice to say it in that courtroom today. Say it in an interview later, say it privately to him if they are able to see him, say it on a billboard - I don't care, but that courtroom was not the time for that, IMO.

I don't understand, folks. I asked this at the beginning. Why not divorce? I'm back to that.

The DA mentioned it. I wish the judge had so future annihilators would maybe listen?

Perhaps he couldn't face his wife being upset. But why the kids? How is death preferable?
monetary?

Man. He couldn't get out of that courtroom fast enough. Didn't look at anyone. Refused to look at his parents except maybe his dad when his dad walked by after the statement?
He might not be dead to them but it appears they are dead to him. It just goes to show how cold he is. I know that broke his mom's heart. Just a look at his mom may have helped her a little bit. She is a hard person to have sympathy for but my mother's heart hurt for her.

Did CW have to stand when Judge announced his sentence for each charge? Camera was on the Judge when I watched.
He never stood up and only acknowledged the Judge once, that I saw.

Press conference in 15 minutes

I'm all 3. Incredibly mad, sad, and shocked.
I was so afraid the whole thing would be a circus. It wasn't at all. It was extremely dignified and for that I'm very relieved.

I'm just deeply, deeply saddened. And shocked. The details of what he did were just heart-breaking.

So, relief that there was no drama from the Watts side - or last minute plea withdrawal - mixed with profound sadness. That was tough to watch.

Well said. I agree.

I don't think CW intends to live out the rest of his life in the Colorado Dept. Of Corrections.
I think he's going to take himself out.

Escaping all responsibility? Just trying to think of why he would do this if there is even an explanation for it.

Because he's concerned, IMO, about what the world will think of *him* wanting to leave his family and pregnant wife. It puts him in a negative light, and he couldn't stand that option.

He looked angry, filled with rage not sorry or sad.
IMO he looked broken, shamed and a nervous wreck. Amazing how people can see things differently!

Shanann’s mom was incredible. Brave, articulate and dignified. Incredible.

The letter says he would never do anything to hurt the girls to and if anything happens to him to investigate Shanann. This guy is a moron.

I agree. And, now, in a bid to stay relevant, they have posted a picture of "the letter".

That letter====more evidence of premeditation on his part

What letter are we talking about? Any one have a link?

Total pre-planning and premeditation, right there.

She was desperate for something from him, she turned and looked at him and she looked at him as she walked away...something very weird going on with that relationship.

I watched CW the entire time his mom and dad gave statements and I never saw one tear. He never looked up. The camera moves away from him a few times so maybe in those few moments he dropped a tear but I seen none.

I saw wet stuff dripping down his cheeks which he wiped away with his jail outfit. Not that it really matters because I don’t care how he feels.
