If the case had continued to trial they didn't want anyone to know what experts were visiting him. Personally, I've always felt he imagined in his twisted mind that NK would decide to visit if it was private.

I can’t speak for federal, but for state prison (at least in one midwest state—I imagine it’s somewhat similar everywhere). Everyone works (as in a job). Depends upon what your job is, but they will work all day (like a normal job) + break for lunch. Most people are up by 6:15am, but breakfast is from 5-8am. If you work in the kitchen, you’d need to be there earlier. If you’re in, say, the weld shop, maybe you get in there around 8am or whenever the leader of the shop arrives. ‘In your bunk’ time at night is around 10pm. There are multiple times during the day when they are lined up and counted. Etc. Etc. Let’s see if we learn more about where he is going to. Then it should be fairly easy to get more info.

I was hoping CW would sit in his cell 23 hours a day.

I'm not sure completely why, but this makes me feel sad. Part of it is because it sounds like SW was really trying to involve the in-laws in her children's lives. That was so much more than his parents ever earned.

Yeah. These people skipped her fricken wedding, and she was still above shutting them out of their grandkids lives.

That says a lot about her, subjecting herself to these horrible people so her kids could spend time with their grandparents.

I'm pretty disgusted by his family. There is zero to indicate that she was narcissistic or bi polar. Was she controlling with family? I doubt it. I think being assertive with those people would be considered by them to be controlling.

Don’t be sorry, there does seem to be confusion over the work thing and when he was fired. There’s a YouTuber who was adamant he had been fired because he was constantly late and unreliable. I don’t think we actually know for sure! Do they usually give notice when you’re fired in Colorado? Like say you have two weeks left? But then, you would think the DA might mention he’d been fired before the murders.

I moved from Colorado 5 years ago, at that point in time it was still an Employment At Will state. Meaning, I can hire or fire you as well as you can work for me or quit ---both/either for a good reason, a bad reason, or no reason at all. I know many companies track and demerit employees for legal reasons.

It appears that Chris initially wanted the baby to “fix their relationship.”

Chris changed his mind, saying that “he just wanted it to be the two girls.”

Amanda suggested that Chris and Shanann go away for the weekend of August 17. Shanann was shocked that Chris agreed.

Of course, this never happened...

CW and IMO, his mom, are what my mom (who is very much a narcissist; funny how they can spot personality issues in others but not in themselves...) calls a "crazy-maker". They gaslight and get you all wound up, just to accuse you of over-reacting. I can imagine CW did this and then played dumb, maybe it confused and annoyed SW in some instances, who knows. It made me irate when dealing with that type of manipulation, and I'm generally a patient person. Possibly CW's parents saw what they wanted to see, ignoring his (and their own) faults and focusing on her reactions, if there were ever a conflict that played out in front of them...or with them. That, or they were going by what CW told them, and he's a LIAR. These people, sheesh.
