She claimed the PD told her if she kept asking CW to not accept the plea if he was innocent that they were going to "shut this [four letter word] down" and stop the visit.

I believed her then and still do. Because that's the kind of thing you might say as an attorney when an insane and destructive family member is trying to destroy the case.

I've had encounters where super controlling family or new mates are trying to undermine me or the client and make it all about them and their needs and I can absolutely understand making a comment like that.

I'm sickened by the Watts family. All of them.

I've been following throughout....haven't posted except maybe in the beginning, the fraud's disgusting transparent interview...can't remember.
I don't shock easily, but this.....this is beyond anything. I have no words. OMG , it just gets worse and worse. How on earth....?

The thing is, Shanann was returnable. There was an unlimited time Chris had to change his mind and take Shanann and his children back to the shop for a refund.

The Rzuceks would have taken her back in a heartbeat, and wrapped the four of them in love and support.

I should have expected it, but the callousness and lack of remorse actually blows me away.

Presumably the lack of evidence of foul play. They would have known it was a clean death.

Thst was truly a disgusting comment. Your main Squeeze has a missing wife and children, and you are suspicious , yet you suggest he pawn it??!

I read that too. So absolutely horrendous. I can understand why she didn't want the police to know though. Many people have affairs and engage in this disgusting behaviour towards unknowing or suspecting spouses. Unfortunately Ive known a woman very much like what has been described of NK. But you can tell there's no way NK knew what he would do to his family. Clearly NK was getting her thrills from 'winning'.

Its also interesting reading about NK's friends interview with police. They talked about NK not wanting someone else's kids. Clearly they ruled out her involvement. However, I can understand why NK talked about this as not every one wants a long term relationship with a 'package deal' (so to speak). I do wonder if that suspected that, or whether she did mention that to him. And that was an additional factor in his motive.

Regardless, it just feels like this case keeps getting worse. I honestly feel so sick reading the notes. My heart is devastated for her family and friends, but now I also feel so devastated for SW's last weeks of life. I feel incredibly sad that what should have been a lovely time (pregnant with Nico) was tainted with this 's antics.

I'm absolutely horrified and disgusted. From the way RW described Shanann as controlling, narcissistic and possibly bipolar to the descriptions of the girls' bodies being recovered to NK's... entire existence. Rourke was extremely controlled in what he said about her.

The , the ring pawning, the web searches for wedding dresses. And book deals? Do people hate Amber Frey? I don't think I'm allowed to say anything I'm thinking because of TOS. Suffice to say, I hope that the entire sordid thing is displayed across the media in Radar articles for the public to judge, just like poor Shanann was judged. No, I'm not at all feeling charitable towards her victimhood right now so I'll just leave it at that.

I don't have words. No words. Nothing is adequate. It just keeps getting more and more indescribably awful page by page. And I'm clearly not even to the worst parts yet. My heart is just shattered for the Rzuceks.

Amber Frey didn't know, didn't live in the same town, was horrified and has great empathy for Laci and Laci's family, and she actually set Scott up and got the goods on him. Very different situation.

I think the DA gave her immunity, but I don’t know why. If she googled Shan’ann’s name 11 months before the murders, then told LE she didn’t know Chris’ wife’s name until this past summer, they should have charged her. It makes no sense.

I had to have a break after the sentencing. I was exhausted after only having 2 hours sleep beforehand, glad it was finally all over, but sooo incredibly sad for the family that afterwards sleep was impossible. I kept seeing those happy little girls laughing, running, playing, dancing etc in the videos and I still can’t get them out of my mind. It was unbelievably moving hearing the Rzuzceks speak as well as Rourke on behalf of Frankie.

Theres a bit in there with CW talking about how he was Cece's favourite and SW was Bellas (or something to that effect).

I know it was mentioned that he may have shed a tear or showed some emotion in court when the judge read out his crimes and Ceces name came up? Does anyone know if that turned out to be actually true? eg Did he really show emotion?
