NK's birthday was July 3 (1988), per page 533 of the discovery docs (Discovery page 600): "SA CODER then informed CHRIS we already knew all about his girlfriend, 'NIKKI´ (later identified as NICHOL 'NIKKI´ KESSINGER (Age 30: 07/03/1988))."

"...Amanda said Nicole Utoft (Atkinson) was her manager at Supercuts (on W. 10th in Greeley) in 2013 and was also Shanann’s best friend.... "

So SW's best friend was the manager of a woman CW had chosen to hook up with on Tinder. the coincidence would be amusing if this whole situation wasn't so tragic.

Yes- he leaves all of this other important stuff at the house! It speaks to a totally crazed mindset I think. He was irrational in so many ways in those awful moments. It is incredibly disturbing that he searched for the Metallica lyrics later that morning. Again, a crazed and demonic-like mindset going on IMO.

Ok, I'm asking this NOT for the purpose of sleuthing. What is NK's birthday?

I ask because she mentions giving police a bunch of things CW gave her, including a handwritten birthday card. I thought I saw her birthday was in March but would need to look again. I wish the document had a word find function!

If her birthday is in March, then wouldn't that mean their relationship began sooner than June? This, coupled with the coworker who said he saw them standing close at work and claims he saw it 5 months before the murders.

I found June hard to believe even before I read the coworker's report of unusual closeness between them at the "water cooler." What 30-year-old professional, educated, financially stable woman is looking for wedding dresses after six weeks of dating?

The text logs between CW and SW were heartbreaking to read. She was sincerely trying to save their marriage and show him love and appreciation while he was cold, distant and sometimes blatantly ignoring her. At nearly the same time she was searching Groupon for a weekend getaway with him, he was searching for date night spots with NK. How lonely and uncertian her last few weeks alive must have been for her, and while pregnant too. That must have been so gut wrenching.
I have yet to see an ounce of empathy displayed from CW at all throughout this whole course of events. He truly is a monster.

That's possible, but why did he need to get rid of the stuffed animals? Was he planning to use them to throw people off? Did he run out of time and they were left in his truck and he had to ditch them somewhere on his way home? I don't believe CW's explanation that they must have "blown away" in the wind when the trash bags and sheet were all found in the field and those things are lighter weight than stuffed animals.

Exactly (the sheet & Bags) and that is why I think they are in a dump somewhere. The land is flat as a pancake where those tanks are and even if they did "blow" away they would have got caught in the brush.
Unfortunately we will most likely never know what he did with them but my guess is he dumped them in a dumpster.

What did NK mean when she said he was unplugged on the Saturday night? Did she mean distant, or tired? It's not a word I've heard before.

I take that to mean "raw" but I could be mistaken. I am thinking of Eric Clapton Unplugged . Maybe she meant aloof.

But then his texts with coworkers the evening of the 12th that he is planning to be in the oil fields that Monday morning instead with no mention of needing to be back by a certain time to be there for his daughter. It is more evidence IMO that these murders were completely premeditated and he already knew Bella wouldn’t be attending school that next morning.

It's impossible to forget, they created the monster - but it might make them think back on recent interviews and how they have handled themselves throughout these events. I'm guesing they are as obsessed with how others view them as nice-guy-Chris, it might (might being the operative word) give them pause for thought regarding their behaviour and attitudes

VERY good catch. So he had NO intention of bringing the girls to school. I had not put that fact together!

Yes, I saw that shift in tone as well. Like, months of being an a$$ and all of the sudden he agrees to read the book, go to counseling, and go away for the weekend to work on things? The book ended up in the trash, same as his family. Clearly he never meant any of those things he was saying and realized he could make things easier on himself for the short while if he just "played along" with it all.

I also like how he came up with the story that SW strangled the girls only after the interrogating officer suggested a scenario to that effect. He wasn't even smart enough to come up with that ridiculous idea on his own. Surely the agent saw him as someone open to suggestion and thought he'd try that angle to at least get enough of a confession from him to find the bodies. And it worked.

Right??!! I found that piece so interesting. He is not smart AT ALL and thank God for that

I keep checking to see CW's status. It appears he is still in the custody of Weld County and has not yet been processed in the DOC facility. I am looking forward to the new mug shot.

There's mention of a stop CW made enroute to Cervi that morning in the Discovery docs, at a construction site that would have had dumpsters available. (Page 276 of the doc, Discovery page 321) It's mentioned elsewhere within the discovery, too, but must be called something other than 'dumpster' ~ I distinctly remember reading about it, and making a mental note that he likely dumped items at this location; utterly dumbfounded (and equally grateful) that he didn't gather other condemning evidence, like SW's phone, purse, etc., to toss at the same time, tbh.

He had no idea that her friend would have acted as fast as she did in trying to locate SW and the kids. It blew his cleaning up to hell at that point.
