Then why did SW's parents have nothing bad to say about him before the NC trip. They lived with him for over 18 months and surely they would have noticed something, anything?
I am sure there were things they did not like about him, but they are positive and loving people. And he had them fooled as well.

Interestingly, I thought the two pics of CW and NK together, he didn't look happy, imo. He looked happier with Shanann and the girls in pics taken before the NC trip. What to make of that, Idk. Are pictures a reliable source of what's in someone's head, again, Idk.
I think his angry mugshots and court appearances are the real man behind the mask. No need for pretenses now.

But which one in your opinion is it - They don't want to talk bad about him or he had them fooled?
ETA: Sorry, I think that looks snarky, I couldn't find a better way to ask!

https://www.coloradoan.com/story/ne...rongful-death-suit-against-christopher-watts/

The day Christopher Watts was sentenced to three life terms in prison for murdering his wife, Shanann, and their two daughters, Shanann Watts' parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him.

According to court documents, Shanann's parents, Frank and Sandra Rzucek, are seeking more than $100,000 from their son-in-law for killing Shanann and her daughters, 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste, in their Frederick, Colorado, home in August.

They are also suing Watts for unlawfully terminating Shanann's pregnancy, according to court documents.
I don't understand what this actually achieves though in terms of legality.

GOOD for them! Although it should be for 100 million. I am assuming that this may be his share of any home equity, 401k money, etc so they are only asking for what is liquid and available. Not that money can heal what they have gone through, but it would be nice for them to not have financial burdens.

Did anyone catch the text from Aug 9 where SW asks if Cw can be there with her to drop Bella off at school for her first day of kindergarten that next Monday? But then his texts with coworkers the evening of the 12th that he is planning to be in the oil fields that Monday morning instead with no mention of needing to be back by a certain time to be there for his daughter. It is more evidence IMO that these murders were completely premeditated and he already knew Bella wouldn’t be attending school that next morning.
Yup, at least, if not before, by 5pm on Sunday, when he contacted Kodi Roberts about Cervi 319, he knew Bella and CeCe will be no more.

Then he calls the school in the morning to unenroll them. He wasn't willing to pay any more tuition for dead children.

I have closet and pantry envy from seeing Shananns videos and pictures! And also she was a wonderful friend to everyone, from what I have read. You have to be a good friend to have such loyal and caring friends as she had/has. That speaks volumes about her IMO.
I could use a little of whatever motivates her to be so organized. Having good friends does speak volumes about her character.

Maybe he intended on deleting her messages too before he dumped it somewhere.
I thought that LE could retrieve deleted messages from phones. Is it only on the computer that deleted items can be retrieved? TIA

A divorce after CeCe was born, debts accumulated and a third child on the way would have also preserved the lives of SW, Bella and Cece.

You are discounting all of their friends who said they were a very happy couple, always had their hands on each other, hugging , kissing holding hands - that is not the body language of an unhappy couple putting on a front for the public. The troubles they had seemed to develope in the few months prior to their murders.

You may be right, of course. However, I read the polygraph report. If you read it from the very beginning - and we know that by that time CW was taking the polygraph test, the family has been annihilated and buried in a bizarre way - you'd read "civil", "never fought", and the whole tragedy is minimized to a very polite discourse over an amicable separation.

SW wrote "love you" in her text to him prior to that fateful night, I think (my timing might be wrong, but shortly before - the one that he did not answer to). This is when the relationship already deteriorated to the extreme.

What I want to say, CW lied so much, he might have been projecting the image of a happy father and husband, while in reality he was deeply dissatisfied with the marriage and family. We can not make any deductions based on the Wattses' demeanour and behaviour. Plus, they were projecting the image of a happy family for the sake of Thrive sales as well. (Not being cynical - they looked like an ideal family on all photos).

I'm interested in seeing what CW says during the civil trial.

I think it was 8/7 he told his boss he may not be staying at his house anymore due to marriage issues. I think he knew then.

Possibly Shanann made him a good father and husband. Once she was gone for 5 weeks he slid back into who he really was. She put so much energy into trying to work on things with CW . She just wanted the truth. She was onto him, and he could not admit it. Rather he took away the lives of 4 innocent sweet beings instead of just being honest. Honesty is THAT hard for him?

Yes, I noted that page in my word pad. Here it is.

Discovery page 555
"His supervisor said he was off on TPO 7/31-8/7/2018, returned to work 8/8-9/2018 and then was off Friday, 8/10/2018 with the request submitted several days/weeks in advance. His supervisor, Luke Epple also related that Watts spoke to him last week, probably Tuesday, 8/7/18 and stated he and his wife were having problems and he would be staying with a friend, in case his supervisor checked his GPS and found his vehicle was not at his residence at night. ...."

You're asking someone who is not at all tech savvy, but I do know they hadn't been able to retrieve his deleted texts.

And he wanted to have his work truck on gps showing he was off of his route. Then he could stay with NK. His comment to NK about how he has never met a woman who is financially stable and independent as she was......that was Shanann when he met her, right? And where was poor Deiter during all of these long love fests at NK's? Poor puppy. I am glad he is with Frankie.
