Well that explains why he told the investigators that “Bella’s tank seemed emptier than CECE’s tank.”

It was, by a lot.

Then he ate some pizza.

I’ll speak for myself here.

When you are talking about the annihilation of an entire family, the murder of a mother and her children, everything is going to be put under a microscope.

When you are a likely motive for this crime, a witness with incredibly valuable evidence, you had better be completely forthcoming.

The stakes are too high, the cost too great, for anything other than complete cooperation.

It is understandable to want to protect oneself, and downplay your actions. I empathize with her, and the position that she is in.

But I do not condone lying. I do not condone the deletion of evidence. I do not condone anything that is other than complete transparency.

Bella, Cece, and Shanann deserve justice. This woman by only being “mostly forthcoming,” didn’t go the distance.

That is where the criticism lies.

I think it is fair.
She answered every question he asked her as truthfully and completely as she could. The detective asked the questions and he led the interview. It is my understanding that affairs are confusing and ever changing when your AP constantly lies about everything. I don’t think the truth followed a straight line within their relationship. I don’t think she had it all figured out at the time of that interview. I think she withheld when it came to revealing the “raunchy” aspects of their relationship. She said she didn’t want the media to get a hold of it. I can understand that, and I do think it’s possible and okay to have self-preservation fears and concerns and still be horrified and sickened about what happened to Shanann, Bella, CeCe, and Nico. NK was a victim of CW, too. True, she is not dead, but nevertheless CW came into their relationship under false pretenses, and her life is now destroyed. He was not who he said he was. She can’t help the voice she was given at birth or the way she laughs or cries.

Still listening to the NK interview. Abt 1:47 in, how does NK NOT remember what she did on Sunday? That was only 4 days ago NK! o_O She recalled lots of other times from longer ago and recalled Saturday night in detail.

Nichol Kessinger Aug. 16 interview with investigators

ETA: She eventually remembers that CW took the kids to a water balloon fight at a birthday party and she went to a museum and then she either "chilled" at her house or cleaned her house...But it was like pulling teeth to get her day description. She can't remember what she did in the afternoon for sure-- she didn't see him. Saturday was the last day she saw him. Monday they "didn't talk much" and she clocked out of work at 3 PM.
Was Sunday the day they faced timed and she described him as just staring at her? Or was that Monday?

And that wasn’t a “splash”

Why the heck is NK protesting the investigators contacting "Jim" when Jim is her alibi for Monday afternoon and what time she got home?!? She starts to freak out a bit and says "Just leave Jim alone!" She claims (and her dad also asserts) that Jim is just a friend from way back (who happens to have a key to her house). So is Jim a friend or not? Why wouldn't she want Jim to vouch for her? Why doesn't she want Jim to know about CW and these interviews with the police? Sorry NK, but "Jim" knows all about it now. Unless he lives under a rock or doesn't speak any English. Jim knows it all now. Does she really think the FBI can't find out who Jim is if they want that info for the investigation? I'm baffled at her stonewalling on this point, especially after the investigator explains they want to talk to Jim to back up that NK was not anywhere near CW on Monday. :confused:o_O

Abt 1:52/1:54: Nichol Kessinger Aug. 16 interview with investigators
It is as if she wants her secret hidden affair kept secret....she doesn't want her bf of years to know she was with a married man. So absolutely no one knew of her relationship with CW?? Why?? It is because it is morally wrong, shows bad character, etc. You reap what you sew. I watch too many date lines and 20/20s to know if you are a mistress, you might just become on national TV. How old is NK? Her voice is throwing me off. I am about done evaluating her interview and then will focus more on CW and his mother....the real root of the psychopath.....but NK and the timing of his story and her trying to find him an apt.....that was def. One of the key factors for him to kill... If she wasn't in that relationship, it wouldn't have happened... Not to say she was to blame in anyway....but when you choose to make bad decisions and be with married men, bad things can happen as a result. She will have a lot of soul searching and perspective on life and dating forever.

I think Ronnie already knew what happened from hearing Chris tell him on the car ride from the airport and that explains his indifference in the interview room. He definitely has heard what Chris is saying before. There's too much non-verbal going back and forth between them in the very beginning of "the confession" and then it continues at a lesser degree as they continue to talk. Watch those first few seconds a few times...Chris even motions towards the door/camera as if to remind Dad they have an audience. Dad keeps saying leading things that fill in gaps instead of just listening to Chris confess. You'd be so quiet hearing that story - maybe have your hand on your forehead....covering your mouth....but you'd only ask questions, not offer up information that is so far fetched....someone would have lamented and asked a rhetorical Whyyyyy or two.

Annnnd Dad got every detail right as he was offering up stuff...nothing where Chris goes...no it wasn't like that it was like this....Dad literally cosigns the whole story without missing a beat.
I always believed his Dad didn't know a thing - but watching this, I do wonder a bit as well. Good analysis. Could very well be. CW had to have a back up plan if the bodies were found (I don't think he ever thought he would cave first). I'm still not sure he shared it with anyone beforehand, but you make great points.

These appear to be full videos so far of the truck/driveway. You can definitely see Chris doing things on the other side of the vehicle.

I just started to catch up. first video at 0.54 he is carrying a black plastic bag IMO,

Wow, thank you for finding this. I definitely missed it. Horrifying. :( MOO
You keep thinking it can't possibly get worse. And then it does. Over and over again.

Moo

Yes, when I read the depth in Bella's tank it made me think perhaps he dumped her poor body first, and then decided it was too empty to put another there. I do not see how she would not have hit the bottom and it be audible from a 20 ft high drop. :(

I understand why she did what she did. But like I said, I don’t condone it.

The lives of that family were too precious to be deleting texts, no matter her motivation.

That voice was what is known as “vocal fry,” it is intentional, and not given to her at birth. Apparently all the kids are doing it.
