I still have to wonder if there weren’t angry words between them before he strangled her. He looked pretty strong and she was small and delicate so it would be pretty easy to over power her.

The only reason I personally doubt it is because there were no defensive wounds and the autopsy did not say she had fingernails missing etc. No signs of struggle and I just myself want to believe that she did not know what happened.
Bad enough that there is proof that Bella did struggle is more than my head can handle.

a pet peeve for me is wondering why he was telling NK shanann wanted out and it wasn't him trying to move on.
doesn't that imply that he is happy with the status quo and actually enjoys being married to shanann??
been doing my head in over this.

the only conclusion I see to reconcile it is he wanted NK to think a relationship with him wasn't going to be that difficult to achieve. see? look? shanann wants out anyway...its all good.
so stick around it wont be that problematic us being together.

but the reality was shanann was going nowhere....she wasn't giving up on him any time soon much to his irritation.
her fb posts were totally contradictory to what he was feeding NK.

IMO NK via facebook stalkings seen some of these latest uploads of shananns and a very 'EMOTIONAL CONVERSATION' happened between NK and CW to the vibe of she is over his lies and decided to dump him.
that's when he shut his facebook down and decided what he needed to do to make sure NK 's love stayed with him.
eliminate the problem.

moo
Yes, you explained that so well. I think he was working on convincing Nichol he wanted out of his marriage by telling her how mean she was and how badly he was treated by her. Then when she seemed like she wanted to make sure he didn't want to try to work it out he shifted gears and said Shanann wanted the separation. It was as if he was getting desperate trying to convince her they would have a future together. Some don't believe Nichol had said to him that he should try to work on the marriage but I think his actions support that. He deleted his FB account. That was the only way she could have found out that he was lying. Imo

I'm a bit behind on the post because I've also been reading the discovery still but I did see things that were adding up to show that Chris Watts premeditated these murders and I wanted to say that the way that he was being tolerable on the last weekend planning a trip away I found similar to somebody who is, from things I've studied, preparing to commit suicide where they come to grips with the situation and and has a type of euphoria so to speak and I also wonder if the trip might have been a plan for an in quotes accident the more I read the more I think he is a vile SB with no heart no ba@#$ and no brain and Shannan was definitely way above his low life league in every way!! And to look at his new mugshot I can't help but think he looks really creepy, old and jiggly and I'm sorry but I hope Nicole is wondering what she ever saw in him.... but I cannot say that she was a naive victim of this because from what I've read of the discovery she definitely was NOT!!!

Yeah. She would have certainly woken up. Fortunately, she would have lost consciousness within as little as 10 seconds.

Still terrifying and horrible, but it wouldn’t have been a minutes long experience of terror.
Upon returning to Colorado from NC, SW reported they were not sleeping together. I believe SW indicated she spent the first night on the couch crying herself to sleep, and 2nd night she slept in her bed (and CW slept in basement?). I recall SW telling her friends that she would not wake CW when she arrived home from AZ because it would be so late. I wonder where CW was sleeping when SW got home. Did SW decide to sleep on couch again not to disturb CW?

He's so stupid he didn't even think how it would sound saying Shanann got to bed at 2am and he woke her up at 4am to talk. The flight delay really interfered with how that would sound. You don't wake someone up less than 2 hours after they've gotten to sleep.
Another reason I don't believe there was a conversation. I think he was still wearing his mask of deception right up to the moment he killed her. Being compliant as usual. He didn't like confrontations. I think he was sneaky and deceptive right up to the very end, and poor Shanann didn't even see it coming. Imo

Total consternation and terror. It is said to be an agonizing death. To Chris I think he just thought it would be the easiest and cleanest way to go.
I bet LE knew how he killed them even before the polygraph. When he was asked to think of all of the ways to kill someone he said, " you could stab someone, shoot someone, you could beat someone or use an object and hit them in the head, poison them.... "then he appeared to be thinking and at that moment when the investigator said, "you can strangle someone," they knew the cause of death. Then he agrees and quickly adds, "you can hang someone." It must have been painfully obvious when he mentioned all the ways except for what he actually did. Imo
Yes the transcript from polygraph is fascinating. I'm still bemused that he appeared to have no qualms about polygraph - didn't lawyer up - supreme confidence or utter idiocy? (I think I know the answer...) SA Coder's work is sublime. Hope we get to see interview.

Ugh this broke my heart but there was no sound to it, what was the comment?
There is sound, but I can't make out what she is saying.

It's a written comment. I'll fix my post to reflect that.

Yeah he probably took the bed because he doesn't care about anybody but himself and she probably would sleep on the couch because she had such a giving loving heart I hate to type this and I really don't like the feelings that I feel for this piece of you-know-what and the things that I wish would happen to him are not nice thoughts at all but my heart breaks the more I read

She's saying to Bella 'look at you, look at you', and then to Cece, 'and look at this one'.

RSBM for focus

One thing that was interesting to me, not that it necessarily has significance, is that in some of the videos where CW was interacting with his kids, he seemed to have natural protective instincts. Saying, "Cece, sit down so you don't fall." Gently lowering them so they didn't hurt themselves climbing off his back. SW playing games with a matchbox car that Dieter would chase, and CW quickly moving to block it so it wouldn't run into CeCe. Putting them into car seats and strapping them into booster seats. How does one go about all these seemingly natural and instinctive precautions to protect your children from harm, and then be able to take their last breaths from them? It is so hard to reconcile what causes that kind of inhumanity inside of someone.
I'm no expert but would like to share my theory about the contradiction in behaviour. From what I've learned about NPD/BPD, these individuals are stuck emotionally in their toddler years. So, with this in mind, think back about a 2 or 3 yr old (these are the egocentric years and is a normal part of development) cuddling a puppy or a doll, they can be warm and gentle towards it, but the minute the puppy tries to escape or nips them, or the dress doesn't fit the doll or isn't meeting expectations, w/e, they can just drop it, throw it, discard it. This is normal for this age but in a teen or a grown adult, very frightening, it'd be a hidden part of their personality seeping through behind closed doors.

CW had less than 5 yrs with his two daughters and he was already exasperated. Shanann was able to openly express her frustration with the girls, this is understandable they were a handful, but I think, CW kept his seething emotions private. I'm sorry if this sounds simple but it's the only way I can understand this condition.

It
Thank you! Appreciate it as I am looking for some missing pieces and it is not easy to sleuth thru 1960 pages of the pdf document. A lot to process while I was gone for thanksgiving weekend and it took a while to catchup. I still couldnt find the text messages between CW & SW, CW & NK. IMO, NK is neither innocent nor a victim as she sounded in her first MSM interview.

Anyway, the sticking point for me is SW trying to purchase a hair product around 2:30am and cc getting declined( I remember reading somewhere in the doc), which kinda makes me believe that all of them were alive at that time. IMO, that would have trigerred the conversation. I am hoping all of these dots will be connected someday atleast for the families and friends.
It's been mentioned elsewhere that if SW had a standing order for a hair care product (Amazon subscription) then she could have gotten an auto-notification of a declined cc wihtout having taken any action that night/morning...

She's saying to Bella 'look at you, look at you', and then to Cece, 'and look at this one'.
She's so wanted shannan and the girls to say in North Carolina she had a feeling and was so close with her daughter my heart breaks

I think CW hates all women. I think all male FAs hate all women. They may have sexual relationships with women and act charming for a time, but their hatred towards women is just below the surface, seething. IMO
You just described my ex.

I think that is Mother Watts, isn't it?
