Agree!!!! All I felt reading that was my blood boiling for Shanann. The wife and mother who worked so hard and loved so hard and put up with his family and his BS and never gave up on him, and he's off writing cr@p like that to some chick from work. Monster!

I just can’t help but think the backlash that has happened to NK is totally sexist and misogynistic. I am so surprised to find I’m the only one who feels this way. How come LE didn’t post any weenie (hope it’s ok to say that) photos of CW? NK didn’t do this relationship on her own, it took two.

I, unfortunately, have met people like her, their hatred runs so deep completely irrational and frightening to be around. Those poor kids.

@stereopticons would know. I heard that DBT therapy could work with some of these people. I think it's a sort of mindfulness training with Buddhist roots.

I agree that there may have been some weirdness in CW's past but I think those who chose to love him brushed it off as awkwardness or him being shy, an introvert, etc. He was probably good at faking emotions that were mostly appropriate for things that were obvious-- like when he was supposed to be sad or happy. But I don't think he is actually an introvert-- just guarded in revealing what he really thought and felt. When he said something "off" in the past others around him might have been able to laugh it off or gave him the benefit of the doubt because the situation wasn't a big deal. His family seeming to be missing and CW being unable to muster up the correct response was a big event that exposed that something was not right with him. JMO.

Yeah, like for his whole life he was pretending to be someone other than who he really was.

It seems to me that LE has done everything they can to show NK in a bad light, from saying she laughed creepily to unnecessarily exposing all of her sex searches on the Internet. They wanted to ruin her life, and they succeeded. Everybody hates her.

A little insight on nut allergies: my brother has a severe allergy to Brazil nuts. It was manageable 99% of the time as far as I recollect. However, I remember one time in his 20s he had something called wedding cake cookies. He almost immediately started having trouble breathing and was vomiting uncontrollably. I still have the image of him puking out of the car window as my dad drove him to the hospital where he got steroids.

The label didn't say it had Brazil nuts, it just said peanuts and exposure to other nuts. So just imagine how much worse it could be if he consumed a whole Brazil nut. Since then, he avoids anything that has any kind of nut on the label or exposure to nuts. Nut allergies aren't a joke. Thank goodness my family never purposefully played Russian roulette with his health.

He’s a vile killer. He will be criticized for eternity. This doesn’t let her off the hook though.

I don’t understand how she is absolved of any wrong-doing, simply because he did a hell of a lot worse.

Well no. She could have been deliberately trying to send CeCe into anaphalactic shock. But we’re giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Not a cindy fan here, but i wonder if the distinction between peanuts and "tree nuts" is well known? Could cindy and daughter have thought that sw was pulling some intellectual trip on them? There are so many ppl these days who don't seem to trust science or scientists. To be honest I had to look "tree nuts" up when I first learned about the episode.

8/11/2018 - having concluded her evening tryst with Watts, Kessinger searched the internet on topics like "Chris Watts" - "Shanann Watts" - "Ronnie Watts" and "2825 Saratoga Trail"

8/14/2018 - searched Google for Shanann Watts

8/14/2018 - spent nearly four hours searching Google and the internet for Watts, news outlets and news accounts of Shanann's disappearance

This all seems like something any mistress would do. It doesn’t seem out of the ordinary. I am really curious about that 9/1/17 search. It’s contradictory to everything we heard. I’d really like to see that date verified. Do you have enough guts to send an email request to the Weld County District Attorney’s Office and ask? I don’t!

I agree it likely started earlier and was far more intense than NK has let on, however I don't think she needed to give him an ultimatum. I think Monster Watts was utterly intoxicated. He was going to have her and be with her no matter what. He wanted a "clean" slate, a do-over, a "fresh start" as the DA said. His wife and children needed to be discarded so that he could still be perceived as "a good guy." Obviously he had no problem hurting his wife in private, causing her tremendous mental anguish with his coldness -- he had been tormenting her for over a month and not even giving her a desperately needed hug, which is something any human would do for an acquaintance not to mention your mate of many years and pregnant mom of your kids! A neighbor also reported that he frequently heard him shouting at Shan'ann. But the selfish prick cold monster CW would not step out of his own needs to give his pregnant wife a but of comfort. No, I do not believe he needed an ultimatum from his mistress; I believe he did away with his family with cold, calculated premeditation to, ironically, come off as the good guy while still getting to be with his new girlfriend. Leaving a pregnant wife and two small children was never going to work with his "good guy" mask, a mask that was desperately important to him. I think NK did not give an ultimatum, but did enjoy the intensity of the relationship, did ramp it up fast -- Amber Frey was completely innocent and unwitting unlike NK, but similarly dove head first into a relationship with a man she in reality barely knew. Both women were ready to marry these men, it seems, and equated a highly sexual relationship with lifelong intimacy. MOO

Hi Abby, I likely wasn’t clear. I do not believe CW needed an ultimatum. He likely wanted his family dead long before this. I am just believing we will find out this affair started months earlier (maybe the previous year because of NK doing a search on Shanaan in September of 2017) and NK gave him an ultimatum. I agree with all you said but my post is really about NK’s lies and that we may learn she knew much more than she admits.
