Not a cindy fan here, but i wonder if the distinction between peanuts and "tree nuts" is well known? Could cindy and daughter have thought that sw was pulling some intellectual trip on them? There are so many ppl these days who don't seem to trust science or scientists. To be honest I had to look "tree nuts" up when I first learned about the episode.

I wouldn’t know but I’d clarify before someone came to visit. We do know that they had a complete list as well as a list of groceries sent by Shanann which they completely ignored.

He’s a vile killer. He will be criticized for eternity. This doesn’t let her off the hook though.

I don’t understand how she is absolved of any wrong-doing, simply because he did a hell of a lot worse.

Criticizing her isn’t criticizing him any less.

She was a mistress and a fool. She made the mistake of her life by hooking up with CW. We all deserve second chances, but the road is going to be much harder for her because of this. All I’m asking is put her in the mistress category and let her go. Don’t throw stones at her.

Well no. She could have been deliberately trying to send CeCe into anaphalactic shock. But we’re giving her the benefit of the doubt.

She was playing with fire, and that could have definitely happened. I personally experienced anaphalactic shock when I was 14 years old and I came very close to dying. I had a severe allergic reaction to a new medication and all it took was two pills. I had no known allergies at the time. I was passed out so I don't recall the shot of adrenaline in my heart that was given to me in the hospital. My parents told me about that later.

I was hospitalized for one week as they did everything they could to get it under control. It was a beast. I was extremely blessed that I came out of it with no lasting damage and no scars. It started out as hives and it turned into hideous welts that covered about 90% of my body. The hives were not only external, they were also internal.

My blood boils every time I read about what Ma Watts did. And the aunt, too. What in the he** is wrong with these people? Unbelievable that they would even think about it, let alone do it - put the child at risk of a severe allergic reaction that could have resulted in death.

And then they painted Shanann out to be the bad guy because she reacted to their evil and protected her child? What they did was pure evil, IMO.

And look who they spawned - a man who ranks right up there with Adolph Hitler on the scale of evil.

All JMO.

It looks like he comes out of his garage with the gas can, originally I was thinking it was a work gas can.
Looks like it might have been his back-up plan was.
I also thought the neighbor camera was across the street so hard to see.

Second time she went to their house, they "had went out" and stopped at their house for a moment. She saw a pic of SW and said "wow, she's (and kids) so beautiful" why would he want to leave. It "almost made her feel bad"

i can't believe they just casually got out of the car and walked into the house. I know i am repeating myself, but no way a coward like cw would show her to the whole neighborhood like that.

I want to puke. At the same time, I can't help but notice how juvenile these seem. Some of his wording reminds me of what people write in high school yearbooks of classmates they don't know very well (or a first time crush of a middle schooler)-- there is not much deep meaning here. It's as if he looked up "what would be a sweet thing to write in a card for my mistress".

I just can’t help but think the backlash that has happened to NK is totally sexist and misogynistic. I am so surprised to find I’m the only one who feels this way. How come LE didn’t post any weenie (hope it’s ok to say that) photos of CW? NK didn’t do this relationship on her own, it took two.

I get what you're saying, and I absolutely agree that it's extremely sexist the way female sexuality is considered fair game for public titillation while male sexuality is more off-limits. On the other hand, the stuff being exposed about CW to the public, how violently and callously and brutally and unemotionally he killed his family, with extremely heartbreaking and graphic details, along with stuff like that ridiculous card we all just read that looks like a teenager wrote it, is far more damning than what's being published about NK. And I think had she behaved more like Amber Frey (cooperative, serious, less self-serving), she probably would have been handled more gently by LE. And so far, she seems to be getting very gentle handling by the local news media.

As long as no one calls her a murderer or anything along those lines, I couldn’t care less about her.

The story is about him and what he did, but unfortunately for her, she is part of this (motive).

I think it’s pretty clear that she knew more than she was saying (The DA even eluded to this). When a mother and her children are cruelly murdered, you’d better be completely forthcoming.

If not, there is a price to pay. She’s paying it.

She is getting criticized, because she deserves it.

I understand her desire for privacy, but I absolutely do not condone the actions she took.

The level of meanness is unbelievable. I don't remember any relative of mine, or mil being purposely mean. Sure from time to time we all say words we wish we could modify a bit, but being dangerously mean on purpose, glad i got to avoid that.

I'm not sure what sexism has to do with being disgusted at a person for being a coldly selfish person who purposefully erases evidence in the context of a murder investigation, lies to the authorities about facts related to her knowledge of the missing woman and her relationship with the missing woman's husband, tells a man to pawn his missing wife's wedding ring, and searches Amber Frey book deal and Amber Fry's net worth, after the man you're having an affair with is arrested for murdering his wife and two babies. I would be as disgusted with a man who did such things and have been.

Making sure if he has any estate left he won't get it and will have no control over it. Perhaps making sure any monies deposited for him are garnished. Further exposing and unmasking him as that - as someone else described - is probably like death to him.
