Was it her dad, he sounded so authoritative and why would her dad care if they asked leading questions? I thought it was most likely a colleague from the CBI.

That's what I thought. He called him Nick. Would her father do that? And say "that's leading?" Now I'm thinking he said that so her answer would be genuine, and the idea not given to her.

I thought he was trying to avoid making it seem like maybe if she knew about the baby she may have gotten upset and that it had something to do with why he killed his wife. Or that Nickol may have been seen as pressuring him because she didn't want to be with him if he was about to have another child and it would make her look bad. He didn't interupt when she answered because the interviewer rephrased the question. Imo

Maybe. My take was he didn’t understand, but once the question was clarified, he was ok. NK had no problem with it.

How do you know? There were other CBI staff in the room. Is he well versed in legal matters?

At the start they ask him his name, address etc and if you listen, you will hear his distinctive voice several times during the interview. It is definitely him. If it were another LE, the prime interviewer would not need to explain the reasons for the question to him...

I don't. I think she knew. She had social media and Shanann's was very public. Shanann's pregnancy was all over it. Since she got rid of her social media we don't know how often she looked.

I don't believe her one tiny bit.

And I did earlier. I defended her on here. Before we heard about her texts and internet searches ad statements to LE. Before we heard her media interview. AFTER her media interview.

I find that very telling then that she deleted them but was quite insistant when she said NO I have none of that.. And yes she could have used friends accounts because isn't that how everyone checks everyone out is social media? She must have wanted to know, I know I would have.

Yes. First very big and very obvious lie, IMO. There is only a miniscule chance that a 30 yr old about to embark on an affair with a "semi-separated" man would not check out his background, when it is so easy to do . She says in the interview she wants to know a lot about a person before getting into relationships, like whether they have a 401K, but she did not look at SW's FB page!

They would have gotten a warrant if she refused. It just would have taken longer. But she agreed, which is good. I am sure she was very scared being so close to the murderer and she did not want to get into any legal trouble.

They must have also gotten a warrant as she was very concerned that they would look at more texts and times of calls.

But we know now that they looked at her search history (waiting to see doc dump that she posted her lol)

Same. My Dad was a wonderful, loving father. But he always told me that if I ended up in jail, not to call him. And I never tested him on it.

But she did not end up in jail. I totally get that her dad went with her. I feel a good, close dad would do that for his child caught up in a web not of their own design.

She definitely sounds more and more confident as the interview goes on. At the beginning she sounds bored and reluctant, and her voice took me by surprise. She sounds 20 years older than her age.
But for the most part she seems believable. She is consistent and her words flow, compared to the halting way Watts speaks. Everything is pretty consistent with what we know. Chris told others about the separation, he deleted his FB account to hide that he was lying, he told her Shanann was bossy and wouldn't let him do anything. Everything to convince her that the marriage was over.
She gave several examples of conversations and specified that they would find the evidence in the text and phone records. She admitted that they would find raunchy pictures and texts and was afraid they would be on the news, and she was right.
Interesting how she was assured they weren't interested in that and they only wanted to look at evidence pertaining to what Chris said about his wife and kids but then released it all publically anyway. Imo

To me she sounded totally fake when she said she didn't know about the pregnancy. And in the beginning when she tried to act like she thought it was cute that he had kids.

I can't wrap my brain around just how many in this case are narcissistic, manipulative, immature. Not just CW. Not just CW's mom.
