I think the psychologists opinion of the reasoning for some of Nickols behavior is accurate. They state that we have to consider that she is likely experiencing an extraordinary amount of shame and guilt and probably blames herself for the murder. She will likely punish herself for the rest of her life. It has to have a tremendous effect on her.
I've been so caught up with all the sex stuff that I haven't really tried to consider what that must feel like. Knowing the shaming that is going on right now on SM, it must be horrifying. Even though she knew Watts was married, the punishment she has received so far has gone above and beyond. Most people who have been caught having an affair have never quite been shamed in such a public way. All because she picked the wrong guy. On top of that she has to live with this for the rest of her life. Imo
The other side of the feminist coin is women should respect other women's marriages and not treat them as objects in the way of what they want for themselves. Feminism is not all about no judgment of other females, there's a core philosphy of sisterhood. Sisterhood is only powerful when we recognize though shall not #?!? your sister's husband.

This confession is beyond fascinating. His level of distress over his co-workers knowing about what he did is about the same or slightly more than his girls being dead.

Imo, It seems as though she had experience with a relationship with another married man...ok with him going to NC......weird to be acting like a friend/counseling him, encouraging him to try and work it out. ..as if she had this happen before.

She thought she had convinced him to try to fix it with SW while they were in NC.

OK, this is kind of big, I think.

She said she could talk to him pretty much any time she wanted except when the kids were around. She was frustrated sometimes after work when he had to deal with the kids, but once they went to bed she could talk to him freely. He was in the basement and SW was upstairs.

My thoughts: If their relationship didn't start until SW went to NC, then what time period was she talking about that SW would have been in the house?
SMH.

I don't know, but he sure did say that he thought CW had told SW BEFORE that he definitively wanted a separation.

He also does not at all seem surprised by the mention of an affair. I guess CW had already told his family this.
Inmate Watts is so full of carp. He tells his dad after the conversation in bed, he went downstairs and Shanann laid back down. ? Then we are to believe that she got up strangled both of the girls, so he strangled her, then carried her back to the bed again? WTH! o_O His story never made sense and still doesn't. What a moron. MOO

Exactly. He hurts himself when he has to think, and us as well.

It warms my heart when you refer to him as “Inmate Watts.”

That's how cheaters assauge their guilt or at least the lack thereof once they are outed. "Well, I told him he should try to work things out." Pay no mind to the nudies I was sending him while he was in NC...

I think she said the opposite, actually - that it wasn't because of her.

Lol

Bummer the video is sped up / WO sound when CW tells dad about the babies in the tanks. I wonder why they did that??!

The DA said Frank Rzucek watched him load the bodies, and I've just been reminded that FR said that he watched him go back three times to the truck with their bodies like trash, in his victim impact statement.
How awful. That just breaks my heart.

I know people will use words like little/big in replace of age so maybe that's what she meant. Young = little. However, I agree with the crying. It seemed like it was possibly genuine for like 15 seconds and then bam, she's completely recovered and talking a mile a minute again enthusiastically. It's very odd.

I would think that she could have meant young, but she literally says "they were this big" while talking about them being "so little". We can not see her but it was said in a way that made me think she was demonstrating how big the girls were. I just thought it strange for someone who had never met them to say that. She could not have known at that point in time that the girls being small was a key piece of info in the case, right? She could not have guessed that CW shoved his little girls through 8 inch holes in the top of the oil tanks, I'm assuming. Yet she was most upset by how small they were. Just weird. MOO.

Very telling!

Something just occurred to me that I hadn't thought of before. For some reason I had in my mind that he put the girls in the tanks in the dead of night, but it had to be light outside. That really creeps me out for some reason.

Sunrise in Colorado was at 6:10 am on August 13.

It probably looked quite beautiful at the time, juxtaposed of course with the horror of what he was doing.
