I am so behind on all of this. Listening to the NK interview from Aug16. Who is interviewing her is it the DA? I still feel from the way she's letting them go through her phone without a warrant and speaking to them without a lawyer it was not cool that they put out all the stuff about her googling and anal sex. What bearing has that but to embarrass her? :/ Honestly, makes me think people should never voluntarily assist police in cases without their lawyers involved. Which sucks.

That's what I hear. I'm confident in the You....gonna work? but that middle part is really hard to understand.

Something just occurred to me that I hadn't thought of before. For some reason I had in my mind that he put the girls in the tanks in the dead of night, but it had to be light outside. That really creeps me out for some reason.

Yeah - in the third truck clip, you can see it's almost fully daylight.

I was surprised by the way she sounded -- kind of on par with CW, lowbrow (I am trying to find the least offensive word for it). But I also have to say that she sounded mostly believable. She sounded like a woman processing this crazy story that happened to her -- not fully taking in the horror of it all because she was still pretty shocked. You don't fall out of love with someone in one second, and yet her brain must have been repulsed by him; a lot of emotions at plat at once. She does seem to want to prove she has a better lifestyle than Shan'ann did, though occasionally realizes the version she swallowed was the murdering, lying husband's version -- but she emphasizes her values over status-seeking, superficial, appearance-obsessed version of SW she believed; seems genuinely into the idea that she was going to introduce the girls to nature and doing things with their hands; they certainly envisioned a future together and it sounds like she was trying to embrace a future stepmom role. Sadly, if she had been a woman Shan'ann met who simply had bad luck with men and made bad choices, Shan'ann would have been so ind to her. Shan'ann had much more empathy than what comes across here, and more ability to be self-deprecating. NK like CW needs to come across as just so good, so down-to-earth, so honest and real. I am rambling but in sum, I feel more bad for her now than before. She is not the villain. CW is the villain. It is horrifying and surprising that she is the villain's motive.

I think you are exactly right when you said she was likely still processing it at the time of the interview. She had just had a whirlwind romance with a man who she may have considered marrying, and then suddenly everything comes crashing down on her.
Yes, it was wrong. No-one likes a woman who sleeps with a married man. I have no doubt she felt like a fool. But the shock and horror comes on gradually. She was probably in denial at first. Who would ever think the guy you fell in love with is suddenly all over the news, and is being accused of killing his entire family. And then it dawns on you that it's basically you that is responsible that a woman and her two kids were murdered.
I'm sure her whole outlook now is completely different then when she did those interviews. Although she may not seem guilty, I can't believe that a normal person would not feel tremendous guilt and shame. The past few months must have been horrible and now she's reliving it all over again.
I doubt the punishment will ever end. This will stay with her throughout her life. It seems like now people are talking about her more than what a monster Chris Watts is. I bet the Watts family appreciates the distraction. Someone brand new to blame. Imo

If you pause and make the video full screen, you can see his hand swinging at his sides. He looks to be wearing some type of light colored glove, or his hands are reflecting the light. He isn't carrying anything. I'm going to try to see if I can get a clear-ish screen shot and circle where I see his hands.

Just listened to NK 2hr interview 8/16.

She is a talker. Oh my goodness. The investigator asks half a question and she's off on a 20 min spiel .

She makes me very tired. I believe her pushy, bossy, overbearing attitude attracted him like a magnet. Just like Mom? Whew.

When I first heard NK's voice, the way she talks, the words she uses, I immediately thought she sounded just like CW in his t.v. interviews. Then I realized, she doesn't sound like him, rather, he picked up her "lingo" and sounded just like she does! Anyone else notice that?
