This was in the first doc dump. He gave a first interview. He did not mention all of this the first time because he thought he might be wrongly suspicious. After he heard the news that night be called LE to disclose this. CW had a new pair of Red Wing boots but he was wearing a very old pair of boots. CW was very meticulous about his appearance but he had on very old Flame Retardant clothing. One boot had the slacks tucked in and the other was tucked out. Also, he parked in a weird location away from the tanks. At the second location, CW said he had to go to the restroom. McCoy thought he might be burying something, but he was indeed taking a potty break.

To me she looks very boyish and her voice and manner are very masculine.
I think she wants to come across as a tough broad.

I thought NK and CW's emails were interesting. She admits she's been looking at the life he and his wife had built and says it's what she wants for her own but it's just so hard and she can't find a guy to cooperate.

The best part is she says she believes in karma....

Chris Watts' In-Laws Didn't Want Him to Go on TV When Family Vanished — but They 'Thank God He Did'
“I said, ‘Chris, I don’t think you should do any media,’ ” Rzucek recalled in an interview with ABC News airing Friday night on 20/20. “I said, ‘You’re the last one to have seen them, so I don’t think you should.’ “

Robach says Frank and Sandra have “donated all of their daughter’s and granddaughters’ possessions to those in need and they are raising money in honor of Shanann and her children to donate to charity.”

“They want everyone to know what a devoted mother she was to her children, what a wonderful daughter and friend she was and what a positive force she was in the world,” Robach says. “They want to counter the version of events Chris told police and make it known she would never ever harm her children.”

As part of those ongoing efforts, the Rzuceks have sued Chris for wrongful death in the three murders, asking for compensation to make up funeral costs, Shanann’s future income and for emotional distress, ABC News reports.

“What we’re concerned about is somebody is going to come and offer him a lot of money to tell the world … at least a version of what he contends happened that night,” Rzucek attorney Mike Newman said on 20/20. “We’re not going to allow him to do that. So, that’s why we filed the wrongful death suit.”

i thought that was bizarre the way he stuck the ring on the end of his finger and pointed it at nua. Just seemed to be kind of jovial and irreverent.
It was a weird moment when he presented Shanann's ring at the tip of his finger and not in the palm of his hand. Like it was some kind of magic trick. o_O

Yes, it was interesting to see the footage - he goes in the bedroom straight for her side of the bed...does not even pretend to waste time looking around - and comes out with it - silently yet with drama as it is on his pinky finger as he gazes at it and shows it off - his amazing find. Makes me ill to think he likely took it off her deceased finger to help his story that she left him (and to likely sell it later). Such a sick mind!

Thanks, Pommy. I wonder if his normal boots were in the truck all full of dirt and sand.
@21:38 - work boots on top of the basement stairs?

What a lovely family, just like their beautiful daughter.
Glad their attorney filed the wrongful death suit.

Maybe so NK could hide her car in the garage?

Was he staying overnight at her place during Shanann's weeks in NC, or was she staying with him? In that sickening little love letter to NK, he mentions how hard it will be to sleep "without her warm body" next to his or some such tripe. Ugh. Mooooo.

It is a shame that they have to defend their daughter but I do hope that they know that most of the whole world do not think like the small group of people who are maliciously spreading lies about her.
This has been reported in every newspaper in the western world and the Watts family interviews and people far and wide are shocked at the malice that they have shown their murdered DIL and the almost complete disregard they had for their grandchildren.

He did think it odd, didn't he? He used 'air quotes' when he said CW said he parked there because of his 'tools might get stolen' but the neighbour didn't believe it.
CW was already being very strategic in setting things up, I'm just not sure if it was about NK's visits or so no one could notice times he left and returned during the night? Idk. Another puzzle piece to fit.

If he spent a lot of late nights with NK, how did he get back into the house without his security system sending alerts to SW's phone about the doors being opened?

Does she work primarily with a lot of men? She's one of the guys? Some men like these kinds of women, some not so much, maybe this was the first obvious difference between her and Shanann, who's a girly girl, and CW craved a change. Phfftt!

I like Paul Newman's quote about infidelity -
Why go out for burgers when you've got steak at home? :p

What was the part about McCoy lying to LE at first? (From the article Pommy posted in #65?)
Pg 418 (Discovery pg 477)
MCCOY said he left the training site and decided to drive back to CERVI 319. MCCOY said he wanted to go back to CERVI 319 because he had been thinking about WATTS and the reports he had been seeing on the news about SHANANN, BELLA and CELESTE still missing. MCCOY said he wanted to check the CERVI 319 to, “see if I could see anything out of the norm.” I asked MCCOY to expand on what he was thinking and he said it was a combination of things that was making him suspicious. MCCOY said the fact that WATTS had parked in a strange spot by the well head, WATTS was wearing unusual clothing, WATTS was more quiet than usual on Monday, and at 11:00 a.m. SHANANN and the kids went missing, and then WATTS was short with MCCOY during the text messages from the night before. MCCOY said taking all of these things into consideration started making him suspicious. MCCOY commented further about SHANANN not taking her phone and car keys and he thought that was odd as well. MCCOY said he evenspoke with his wife about the strangeness of the circumstances on Monday night.

MCCOY said when he arrived at CERVI 319 on Tuesday afternoon, the gate was open and there was a water truck on the pad from Northern Plains Trucking (NPT). MCCOY said he parked his truck by the well head near the same location WATTS had parked on Monday. MCCOY said just as he was getting out of his
truck, the driver of the water truck approached him and asked MCCOY to sign his Job Site Analysis (JSA), as is a required procedure. MCCOY said he told the driver of the water truck that he was there to look for a crescent wrench he may have dropped in the area. MCCOY said he told this to the driver of the water truck because MCCOY didn’t want to tell him he was there to possibly look for evidence of a missing person.

He probably stayed the night.

I may be confused... but this seems to reference him parking his work truck down the street, rather than the Lexus.

If correct, this seems to make more sense to me in his scheme than the Lexus. My memory which fails me often, does seem to recall it was the truck if any not the Lexus he parked down the street.

@PommyMommy ?
Edited to add: sorry, referencing a post that seems to be deleted
Ugh, my brain's a little fuzzy on this one. First, when he was initially arrested, it was reported that the truck was parked down the street.

What I remember from neighbor NT was that CW had been parking the Lexus down the street and NT couldn't understand why CW parked his truck so far away after it was burglarized? I probably need to go back and watch that again. Can anyone else help? TIA
MOO

I have a friend who is 'one of the guys' and swears and talks about bodily functions like some men do, and although they all like her (she is very likeable), none of them want their wives or daughters to speak and act like she does.

This case pops up for me even in the mundane... just pulling a baked chicken out of the oven and I remembered how NK "suddenly" remembered that inmate CW made her lunch in Shanann's house after saying she'd only spent a few minutes there.

She suddenly recalled he made her lunch. Chicken and carrots.... that's all he had she said laughing almost with endearment.

Poor bachelor CW... only had chicken and carrots.

When the truth is his loving, devoted wife had made "victim" Chris 6 weeks of meals before this pregnant, working, successful mother of two went home to visit her family.
