Plus grocery shop for a “bachelor” for 5 weeks on his own and meal prep for him. A lot to do this week. Thankful for Thrive.

I am looking for someone to build a beautiful life with (seems so simple but so unrealistic sometimes). Build something similar to what you have with your wife and those cute little girls. I do believe in karma so out of respect for myself, you and your family I think it is best if we keep that friendship at work. By the way I keep the conversations we have between us.

Tell me again how NK didn't know SW was pregnant? As of June 12th, NK knew CW was married and he had "cute girls" with his wife. If she looked at SW or CW's social media in order to see those "cute girls" she would have to have been blind to have missed the many pregnancy announcements from June 10 & 11. MOO.
ETA: Plus, NK could have seen SW's June 11th post about their upcoming 6 week trip to NC and would know SW was going to be gone. JMO.

Putting it together showing June 11th and 12th I was shocked. June 11th she announces that she is pregnant to her husband, the next morning apparently her husband had a deep talk with MK moving towards the beginning of the end.

Also Inmate Watts was so emphatic that the jeans were not his size anymore -- shades of, if the glove don't fit. He may have thought if those jeans were found they would not be connected to him at his current size. I think he had quite an elaborate (if stupid) staging plan in mind that all got cut off. His look throughout that first walk-through with NUA and her son and LE was obviously not grief, an not guilt; sheer simmering anger.

I'm not really sure if it's possible, but i hope Shanann wasn't fully aware of what that monster was doing to her. If it was a choke hold you can be unconscious in mere 3-6 seconds, and also in carotid artery compression.
I think they teach choke holds in Martial arts. I think LE used to use them one time as well.

Well I am tempted to think it was a random woman put into a police uniform who agreed to haul around her dog on a leash, from her observations, but I do think it was genuine police detection work. Just so there's no assumption anyone here is making this letter business up.
Days after CW plead guilty, there was a newscaster talking to his co-host on a news program about a 'letter' CW wrote 2 weeks before the murders, the Watts family produced this 'letter' and said CW's defense team destroyed it, (the original or the copy, idk)
The letter said, he would never harm Shanann or the girls and if anything happened to him, Shanann did it. It was a handwritten letter. As you can see, the letter was actually incriminating for CW, it reeks of premeditation. Why the family held onto the 'letter' until after CW plead guilty, idk.
Most importantly, it's the WATTS who claim this letter exists.

Also, in the body cam video that shows Chris first arriving to the scene. Did anyone notice that all the ceiling fans were running? So in the minute between going inside the home and letting LE/NUA in, our dude from hell potentially got her cellphone from the Lexus, turned it off, dumped it under the couch cushions and last but not the least turned on all the ceiling fans (to disperse the odor of murder, I would guess).

That was a busy one minute of activity right there.

Iirc, there was a poster here who said that their upstairs air conditioning unit did not work and that is why the fans were on. I was going to challenge that because I had never heard that before.

But that was when there were so many things going on Friday, and the thread got shut down and was not able to reply to it and now I cannot find it.

Probably the same reason he parked it at the airport, leaving it exposed to the weather, instead of getting a taxi as Shanann asked. To trash anything important to his wife. Like he tossed the book she gifted him in the trash. This is mindless hatred directed at Shanann. He can't do it in a confrontational way because then he'll get called out on it, he has to keep the mask of "good boy" on, so he does it slyly and derives satisfaction from it.

The pieces are falling into place for me, (moo) he was seething in a controlled way after Shanann 'hurt' his father and 'caused' his father to shun them all. From that point on he was planning how to kill Shanann. The children crept into his plan because they were mirrors of her and she adored them. His mindset is clear when he says we aren't compatible anymore and I've stopped loving you. That's how it happened for him, lights off. Now he had a new potential partner in the wings who would be his new feeder/supply so he was all set. Psychologically he stopped developing at about age 3 or 4 (moo). He never developed empathy for anyone except his father and that isn't even real empathy, it's reactionary and impulsive enmeshment rather than a rationalized thinking system, and it developed without his awareness, so very young. He is a boy locked inside a man's body.

I think he wrote the letter his family claimed to have and he wasn't clear at that point how he was going to do it, but it included the children. His mind set to work on the 'how' the week they returned from NC. But he had to retain the mask at all times, right up to the point of killing. His rage was ice cold and white, because the part of him that wanted to kick and scream and tantrum (the toddler) was killed by his mother. So he felt nothing but possibly satisfaction that he had avenged his father. I never intended to go from the parking of her car to why he committed the murders but it all followed on so I thought I'd get it out.

It saddened me so much when I listened to NAU interview, and found out that she had downloaded the same book that he had thrown in the trash and was listening to it during the trip and on the airplane. That just broke my heart.

So this is a bit OT...I am a muralist/artist and I really want to do a painting of the 4 angels, and now that I think about it? I want to do a mural of them in CO. I paint murals all over the US! Maybe that can be my goal next summer. They need to be memorialized! I'll start doing some sketches and keep you updated. Won't be till next week, I have a mural deadline next Friday!

He probably spent those minutes in the bedroom polishing off his prints from the outside of the ring so that he wouldn't be accused of removing it from her finger. I expect he thought the officer would whip out an evidence bag right there and then and declare it was a murder investigation.

The first video that we got of them going into the house showed him walking into the master bedroom and walking directly to his side of the bed and the bedside table, and then he turned around and saw the policeman was there, and then he quickly went to her side of the bed to her side table and then walked out.

Why would he walk up to both bedside tables?

The body camera of the policeman definitely showed that there was nothing on HIS bedside table when he walked up to it, but CW was blocking at HER bedside table ( at least on my small little phone, I cannot see it.)

Perhaps others can.

I wondered about this too, I hope she stayed asleep, oblivious to what was going on but other posters on here informed me that she would most definitely have woken up and it would have been an agonising death

One of the things that stood out to me during all of the interviews with him was they did not ask him anything about the small stuff and his lies that were so obvious that they knew from other people. They only focused on the big stuff so they could not let him go down a rabbit hole somewhere else.

As we know from following trials, any of the interviews they did could be used by the defense team to poke holes and make a mess out of something that has no significance to the case. I think that's why they did it and I've learned so much from this case that I now recall from other cases. Interesting.

It definitely was Karma as to how the Stars aligned on everything. That her son was there and she was there and the police were there, so that one of them or two of them could leave Chris with a policeman and then go in different areas the house and do things while he was being kept with the policeman. If her son wasn't there, if she wasn't there, if the police weren't there, everything would have been very different. It took everyone being there at the same time and going in different directions to look at stuff that is amazing to me as to how it all worked out. Karma!

Your post reminded me of something..... one of my brothers good friends owns an auto shop here about 10 minutes away from Frederick. He told me that the big auction we have in town had CWs toolbox that he used when he was at the Ford Dealership and his friend bought it for very little money compared to what they sell for. I was really surprised to hear that any of their things went to auction. I truly hope Shanann's parents were able to keep everything they wanted from the home.

Hello, the works sound so similar to the song 'Abracadabra' I heat up I cool down you got me spinning around and round. I read his and the song popped into my head.

I have no idea. It was discussed in the threads here though at the time, and a transcript was posted. Some posters said they had seen a letter. It's up to us whether we choose to believe them and if we choose to believe it was genuine or faked by the Watts. I couldn't see any reason for the Watts to fake a letter saying he would never harm himself, because he wasn't harmed. I choose to believe he wrote the alleged letter with a different plan in mind.

ETA Thinking about it I think it was divulged on the MRS podcasts or channel and we were told by Tricia or liltexans we could discuss the content of those podcasts but not link to it.

Cindy Watts told a reporter about the letter during the Watts media tour. It is mentioned at the end of one of the Watts' interview broadcasts. I will need more coffee to find it, but it's in the media thread. I didn't listen to the MRS podcasts (I tried once...ack!) but am told that either Mama Watts or JW told the pod people about the letter who in turn, published it. All I will say is that the handwriting sure looks like CW's.

What is the letter? Is it confirmed? I haven't seen it in any discovery documents so far or the parents mention it in interviews. I may have missed it though.

The letter was making the rounds on SM and in interviews prior to the sentencing his parents said this letter was given to the defense and claimed Chris wrote it because he was fearful something would happen. The letter on SM said: to whom it may concern, I would never hurt my girls and I would never hurt my wife. If anything happens to me you need to look at my wife. With Chris Watts printed name and his signature underneath dated Aug 6th. The MRS girls claimed to have a copy of the letter and were the ones putting it on SM. At the press conference after sentencing Rourke was asked about the letter, he looked puzzled as well as the rest of LE and said he never saw any letter and if there was a letter and it was authentic he would have known about it.

He must have had an opener in his truck.

I noticed he got the opener out of his truck and then did not open the garage door until he was up close. He could have opened the garage from the truck, but I think he waited because he wanted to be the first one to enter the garage.
