Can you show us a better photo of it? tia

I've been in the hospital for a week now and am preparing for a heart valve replacement. It might be a while before I am home again and have access to my belongings.

He had been taking or using those products for a while didn't he?
Yeah. Probably as long as SW was involved with it.

I’m not sure how long though.

Good thoughts going out to you for a speedy recovery, <3

Here are a couple of screenshots from the sentencing hearing:

This is Bellas blog which has a photo of JW and has been linked in prior threads: Journey of Bella Marie: Your Aunt Jamie and I.

What do you think?
OMG. CWs comments on that blog are so sad! The first post: This was an amazing day! We got to watch you move around, kick and move your hands. You were ever sucking your thumb at one time. It was really cool to watch you! Can't wait to hold you for the first time.

I can't even.

The 3 day lack of sleep is interesting.

Could high school lust and adrenalin keep him up and so animated? I wondered how he could stay Monday night, much less sleep, in the house he just killed his family in.
I think he claimed that he couldn't sleep but we have no idea if that's true.
Nickol had said that he only got about four hours of sleep when she knew him. If he was staying up until midnight to be with her, I can see how he wouldn't get much sleep since he had to be up by 5:00.
I have not seen it stated that he went for three days without sleep. At any rate he has plenty of time now to make up for it. Apparently that is what he was doing most of the time in his cell when he was still in Colorado. Imo

Just terrible.

I think part of the reason some people want to explore whether drugs were involved, etc., isn’t really to absolve CW of blame. I think it’s more that his actions seemed so far out of left field. He seemed like a normal guy but he committed this horrific crime. I think subconsciously we want to find what could turn a man into a monster because the reality is so unsettling.
That's why he reminds me so much of Scott Peterson. With both of them, everyone said they were sooooo nice.

I think people want to find a 'reason' (drugs, etc.) why CW murdered because they can only see things from their mindset. But CW has a different type of brain and he showed us exactly what he likes- and he enjoyed murdering. He sent the photo of a life sized girl doll wrapped in trash bags to SW before the murder. There was no reason to do that other than he wanted to savor what he was about to do. He lives to trick people and he liked being the one in control of a horrible secret, maybe he laughed at SW trying to figure out the photo of the way he would soon be killing their daughters and putting them in trash bags. He chose a lengthy, deliberate and personal way of killing -he could see and feel the life drain from them and had opportunities to change his mind but he finished. And, of course, consider his extreme display of 'duper's delight' on the front porch. He was enjoying himself. Maybe killing is something he has always wanted to do and he pushed it down until recently.
If drugs made him kill, like some on here are suggesting, once they wore off he would have experienced crushing regret, would have confessed voluntarily, would have been on his knees bawling, etc. But he wasn't - in fact he didn't display any signs of regret and he tried to blame everything on SW. I think he's always suppressed a desire to murder and that's why he overate, didn't let people close to him, etc., but then in 2018 his true self finally won out.

I agree with the above sentiment. Well said. Right after he killed his family, and stuffed those dead baby girls into those tanks, he was able to go about his business at work that morning, as if nothing happened. Texted his new girlfriend, hung out with his co-workers, joked around, etc. Googled song lyrics, took a picture of wildflowers to send his mistress, after he just buried his pregnant wife's corpse.

He is just an evil robot. JMO

Thanks. I had surgery last week and on the day after they released me I wound up with endocarditis (infection around the heart). Antibiotics are finally working but the damage to the valve was already too much. I've been trying to keep up in here, though! I've been happy for the distraction.

hi I don't know if this has been brought up yet, and not current topic, but the timeline on the night Chris was supposed to have gone to the Rockies game and went to dinner/ used the credit card..NK said they went to dinner around six 6:30 so maybe the latest 7. Maybe paid bill by 8 the latest but wasn't he supposed to be at the game at that time and wouldn't Shanann have found out the time that the credit card was charged?? Maybe she found out around the time when she called home which was said to be about 7:50 and perhaps she asked the babysitter what time Chris left??? Just a thought!

It has been suggested that she was wearing black and white stripes for a specific reason since that was commonly used on prisoners many years ago. It still is in some states.
I'm not sure if it was done purposely or not. I'm not sure how that would help to get him to confess. In my opinion it had nothing to do with the interrogation. Why wouldn't she wear orange, the color most commonly worn? It's just a popular design.
In my state, they still wear stripes in the County jail, or they did 6 0r 7 years ago. The stripes are color coded according to severity of the crime committed.

I'm sure that's true. But it's interesting that even the morning that he murdered his family and disposed of them, he was acting like the same old "normal guy." There was nothing that could have changed his behavior or made him suddenly capable of murder. He was always like this. Imo

Well, I know Jodi Arias wears the stripes. I'm not sure how many states do. Not many.

Apologies for the lack of sleep post. I was responding to the conversation a few pages back listing the timeline when the detective was trying to call and he was on his personal cell with NK. Possible I misunderstood the length of time he was awake.

BBM For Emphasis!

I'm as confused, shocked and intrigued as most but THIS says IT all.

He was not right, period.

I recall he told her he went for food and drinks after the game but there's no possible way you could have went to the game and been at dinner by six 6:30?

We all know why they wear stripes there.

Exactly. The killings and coverup were logical and calculated.

They were sloppy, but that’s to be expected from a guy like him.

This was organized, as opposed to the disorganization that would appear from either drug use, or severe mental illness.

Fortunately, stupidity is not a defense.
