Thanks. I had surgery last week and on the day after they released me I wound up with endocarditis (infection around the heart). Antibiotics are finally working but the damage to the valve was already too much. I've been trying to keep up in here, though! I've been happy for the distraction.

It made me sad listening to Frankie's audio interview with police. He was being so gracious about CW and CW's family. He read a message exchange he had with CW's sister after SW and the girls were "missing" but before CW confessed. The sister mostly was just venting about what people on social media were saying about Chris. Her attention and words were not really expressing genuine concern or sadness for her SIL and little nieces. Even if she hated Shanann, how could she be so uncaring toward her nieces? She also didn't show any empathy for how Shanann's family was coping. Her entire focus was just on mean things people were saying about Chris. It was so off. She sounds just like the mother. The tone was so ranting and hostile.

And at that moment in time, everyone was still missing. If Chris was innocent, who cares what trolls or random strangers on the Internet are saying. The entire focus should have been on finding his family. Their reaction and behavior throughout this has been truly bizarre.
Frankie mumbles just like Ronnie! Couldn't listen very long. Must be an NC thing!

OMG. CWs comments on that blog are so sad! The first post: This was an amazing day! We got to watch you move around, kick and move your hands. You were ever sucking your thumb at one time. It was really cool to watch you! Can't wait to hold you for the first time.

I can't even.
I think it was Shanann who wrote that. It was said that she posted for him. Imo

I've been in the hospital for a week now and am preparing for a heart valve replacement. It might be a while before I am home again and have access to my belongings.
Praying for you a speedy recovery.

I recall he told her he went for food and drinks after the game but there's no possible way you could have went to the game and been at dinner by six 6:30?
He claimed that he left the game early, which would allow him the time to go to a restaurant by himself, and somehow spend $60.

Because people leave a tied game early, or something.

I still don’t think those patches do a damn thing.

It’s the placebo effect if anything.

Those ingredients are widely available in oral supplements, and many have no proven benefits.

In patch form, their effectiveness is especially dubious.

He could have been wearing 100 of those damn things, and I don’t think he’d behave any differently.
Even if they did energize or stimulate, it doesn't take away free will. He made very premeditated choices to kill his whole family in agonizing ways. While he was at work and functioning normally, he disposed of them with the utmost contempt. He wasn't hyper then, he carried on with his normal working routine.

Best of luck @mtnlites. Thinking about you. You got this.

hi I don't know if this has been brought up yet, and not current topic, but the timeline on the night Chris was supposed to have gone to the Rockies game and went to dinner/ used the credit card..NK said they went to dinner around six 6:30 so maybe the latest 7. Maybe paid bill by 8 the latest but wasn't he supposed to be at the game at that time and wouldn't Shanann have found out the time that the credit card was charged?? Maybe she found out around the time when she called home which was said to be about 7:50 and perhaps she asked the babysitter what time Chris left??? Just a thought!
Addy in her phone interview said that CW is the one who directly told her about the $62 restaurant charge. SW did not get any alert from credit card or bank. I think he was gaslighting her.

I messed that up, sorry. Why do some places still use the black and white stripes? Someone said we all know why so apparently I'm the only one who doesn't.

Her brother talks about how private she was. Her Facebook didn't show that but I think its because everything she shared, was just every day life. I really don't think Chris had any idea that Shanann had shared with all her friends, how he had been treating her and that he no longer wanted the baby. He thought they would still think of him as a "nice guy". I think that is why they all caught on so quickly. Besides that, they really knew Shanann.
Oh he knew. He was mad she told all her friends about their issues. Saw it in discovery, can't remember where.

I think he claimed that he couldn't sleep but we have no idea if that's true.
Nickol had said that he only got about four hours of sleep when she knew him. If he was staying up until midnight to be with her, I can see how he wouldn't get much sleep since he had to be up by 5:00.
I have not seen it stated that he went for three days without sleep. At any rate he has plenty of time now to make up for it. Apparently that is what he was doing most of the time in his cell when he was still in Colorado. Imo
At times, I go days without sleep and I don't take drugs. I have done this since college. I swear those late night study sessions changed my sleep pattern.

I couldn’t agree more.

If caffeine causes murder, I can’t wait for the class action lawsuits directed at Starbucks.

It’ll beat those Mesothelioma commercials.

He is such a bad liar that he would claim a beer and salmon cost $62. He didn't even try to come up with something believable like he put the bar tab on his card and his "coworkers" gave him cash.

And then he sat there and told law enforcement how he won a "raffle," named coworkers who were not there, and described where his seats were located. He is calculated and self-serving. But at least he is stupid.

Sounds like you've had your share already! Time for something good!!

My mother had a heart valve replacement many years ago when she was about 73, she actually did amazingly well.

I have another friend that had her first valve replacement at 17 and has had both a pig's valve and the mechanical, and she's due for a change up again.

Holding you both deep in my heart!!!

Agree! Just look at the videos in which he got caught by his neighbour's surveillance camera "loading" up his truck. He seemed to very calm. This was calculated. Not good, but still premeditated.

Haaaaa. Yeah, that wreaks of both stupidity and arrogance.

Wow the site's acting a little hinky! I quoted my own post as coming from Mountain Lights.

Exactly. The killings and coverup were logical and calculated.

They were sloppy, but that’s to be expected from a guy like him.

This was organized, as opposed to the disorganization that would appear from either drug use, or severe mental illness.

Fortunately, stupidity is not a defense.

It’s chilling.

He didn’t snap, he took the time to commit three murders in a manner that took time and focus. Then he hauled three bodies downstairs, put them in his truck, rode with them for 45 minutes and disposed of them. I couldn’t even dispose of an animal the way he disposed of his children.
