Its New Years Eve and obviously we all care about this loss in 2018 and that's why we're here so we will all be thinking about this family and their pain as we go forward. Our fears may still be with us in the year to come but hopefully those closest to this tragedy can have a little relief as we enter 2019. I pray for them.

I am not defending her. What I am saying is that we do not get to pick and choose. There are no standards of nice person, not nice person.

If her info gets to be spread all over the net, everyone’s gets spread all over whether one is an active participant or in the wrong place.

Maybe a better example would be Jaycee Dugard’s step dad. I imagine today there would be lots of info out there about him. Would that be OK?

He did not choose to,have Jaycee kidnapped.

I don’t know how to make it more clear. What is applied to NK will be applied to everyone.

Nicole Atkinson went on youtube and made a crying video.

Seriously, is this OK?
what does NUA's video have to with anything?

NK's media attention is not because she's some neighbor who got famous by mistake. Had she not lied, contradicted herself, made up stories about how she was trying to get cw/sw back together at the exact time she was sending him naked photos, and about a dozen other unsavory things she did such as choose to not be totally forthcoming with LE, maybe I would feel sorry for her. Know what, Human? Let's imagine a scale of 1 to 100, with 100 getting my deepest sympathy. I put NK at about 1, and I put my concern for that African American family in Houston at 100. Did you see that one? A family pulls out of Walmart in the morning and some domestic terrorist, a white guy with a beard, pulls up next to the car and sprays bullets inside, killing one of the young sisters. Now that's something I care about. NK not so much.

So people who had their children kidnapped would, have been smarter. to make the decision to not have their child kidnapped. That should be in a hospital take home package for new parents
So I take it that you're comparing NKs actions to that of a kidnapper because I was comparing effecte vs affect but you're probably right she stole a husband and a father from his family and thus justifying that she is guilty!

Well, people are picking and choosing just what they think is nice vs not nice.

I fail to see any way to compare NUA or Jaycee Dugard's stepdad to NK. NUA was crying in her video because she was attacked by some very cruel people and had just suffered a horrible loss. Jaycee Dugard's stepdad had no involvement in the kidnapping.

NK IS the primary reason why CW murdered Shanann and his babies. That doesn't make her guilty of murder, but when rules of decency set by society are broken, people pass judgement.

He thought he was on such a roll with the interviewer -- the more he talked, the more he talked. Mr. Glib. But he forgot that smiling and looking cute didn't really fit the occasion, and that being so talkative and nice didn't fit, and just staying out there continuing to talk wasn't appropriate, and that "big" words (to him, they were big) don't always work if you have no idea what they mean. Idiot.

He did - he thought he was on a roll while most of us watching the interviews were mortified by his bizarre behavior as well as his horrible grammar.

( @PommyMommy, do you happen to have a resource for any transcriptions of NK’s full interviews? I’ll double check the media thread...).

(Ps: You are a “PowerPommyMommy” in my book btw. And as I’ve stated I sure think Shanann was a Power Mom too!)

ETA: Also, is there a textual transcription that is not in pdf form posted somewhere of the 1960 page discovery? Tia. )
I don't know of one and that two-hour interview would be quite a task to transcribe! How much you payin' Magz? :p Seriously though, the closest I could probably get would be to save the interviews from the first doc dump into smaller PDF files and you still wouldn't have a transcript - just the summary. Sowwy Charlie.

I don't know of a transcript either. NK's interviews really should be listened to/watched (by anyone who is not hearing impaired) in order to get the full meaning of her words. For many of her statements it's not only what she says but the way she says the words that is relevant. There is a lot of non verbal communication going on in her tone of voice, pauses, hesitations, inflections, etc and in the interview where we can see her on video her posture and expressions are also revealing. I had to take many breaks while listening to/watching her hours of interviews just to get through them all. I don't know that I could stand to listen to them again to write a full transcript.
MOO.

Happy New Year to all!

So many thoughts going through my head while listening to her interviews. I need to listen again later, after my mind is somewhat cleansed. Apology in advance for my "CW" poor language, but she appeared to me to be kind of flirting with the interviewer. Again, maybe flirt is wrong word, playing? . . something inappropriate for the situation. Like they were friends having beer at the local bar. No respect for his position, or severity of the reason she is in there. While her verbal diarrhea may be endearing to her father, he stands alone. She obviously can't read a room, doesn't care or is above it.

Nikole Kessinger's choice to destroy evidence and the tone and content of her interviews, internet searches are the sole reason I have the attitude I have about her. Her poor character regarding the choice to have an affair is not.

Well said.
Clearly NK is not a person who knows, or cares, what social norms are. Hence, why she also pursued and "dated" a married man. CW is at fault for his infidelity....I am not excusing his culpability, but it takes a certain kind of person to ruthlessly go after a married man.

That's my opinion too. In her 1. interview she addressed the officers "you guys ...". For me it sounded disrespectful.

bbm

Great post, both -- Maybe she was trying to show her "audience" that she was at ease, no reason to lie. But some folks, when in a jam, just can't shut up, and that is also a tell. The interviewers were probably exhausted when she left -- she sucked all the oxygen out of the interview room.
And her nonchalance with and towards the officers also looks disdainful and snobbish.
A good match for our CW, isn't she?

Baby Nico was to be born at the end of this month. I'm so sad for him, SW, and the girls that they weren't given the chance to come into 2019. Praying for them and the Rzuceks today.

Shanann’s birthday is on January 10th as well. Hard to believe it’s almost 5 months since they lost their lives.

Holidays, especially when there are children in the memory, are so difficult, as we all know. I'm sure some of us here, including myself, reflect back on those who are trying to get through holidays when one or more family members are gone forever -- and some of them are those we have "met" on cases here at WS.
And yes, it is hard to believe it's been nearly 5 months since their daughter and granddaughters are gone -- and I would think her family feels that it's only been a few days, and then they feel that it's been much, much longer. SMH.

Conversely, I'm betting CW can't believe that he's only been in prison for around 5 months. Hoping each day drags for him and that he's a scared little mouse.

So true. You made me think about it and I realized we only have her word that CW told her that he was getting a divorce and (later) that the divorce was final. Did he? That brings us back to deleted messages. Could some of the deleted messages paint a different picture of the CW/NK relationship? Did some messages contain references to SW and reveal what NK really knew?

Sooo... seems Shanann's thread is still open.

I get why.

But may I say?

He did it... as unimaginable as it is that"man" CW did it

And it just seems to end there.

He did it.
