She was an incredible worker, had the brains in the family regarding aptitude and go getterness, was successful, great Mom, kept up her looks while I would have been haggard with a permanent babuska hiding my hair....
We'll never really know, but my gut instinct tells me he hated her when she became so successful. Many men acquire mistresses at that time, when they are not necessarily the major breadwinner anymore.
Let's get all Occam 's Razor here.....simplest explanation....jealous of her success he got a mistress and when that started slipping away.....checked out of the marriage and that Daddy stuff.....killed them all.

Do you realize that she had to reach a certain sales level to get an $800 monthly payment for a great car, and that the company featured her in their magazine? Is he 7?

It looks everyone makes 20% on personal sales, plus commissions 3 levels down. Once they reach the 80K VIP monthly sales like SW, it looks like they get "uni-level team commissions" 8 levels down, plus bonuses like auto and trips. SW's goal was to make 200K VIP, which looks especially lucrative because the uni-level team commissions then double. I can imagine it took an incredible amount of work to build and maintain a network to support the sales level that SW had achieved.

CW knew SW worked hard selling Thrive. I really don't know much about MLMs, but since the LeVel/Thrive only goes downline 8 levels, she must have constantly had to work to build and maintain her network. He may have had no idea that she had to replace customers who stopped buying and deal with team member attrition.

Some CW fans call his Anadarko paycheck "Chris's money", like Shanann just squandered his money on his kids. Well obviously CW felt that way about his money too.

We know he was eager to cash in on the house, and I've always thought that CW believed SW's LeVel/Thrive income would continue rolling in after she went 'missing'. He probably thought he was gonna be living large with NK after doing away with his family.

JMO, the red flags that fall between malignant narcissism and psychopathy that can sometimes be hard to detect until their mask comes off.

I’m curious what these red flags that were spotted are too specifically. What has been so fascinating to me about CW is that until 2018 (w affair and SW pregnancy) by all accounts CW was good husband and good dad and well liked. No signs of anger outbursts, no signs of substance abuse, no risky behavior. Well liked by all, maybe a bit introverted / quiet / passive.

Regarding the earlier posts comparing Chris being lazy slug who didn’t pull his weight in terms of providing income, I was asking what the supporting data was for Shannan making $60-70k. As far as I know, the only source we have to verify what SW income was, was statements from CW. This was all stemming from comments that Chris should have been working nights and weekends instead of being present for his wife and kids because he wasn’t pulling his weight.

If y’all think we are blaming SWs death on her salary you need to take a closer look at the text - because that is not what is going on!

That was a question I was asking you - why you thought her income at the time of her murder was so important because whatever point you have been trying to make regarding Shanann's income at the time she was murdered is not clear, at least to me.

Regarding his Anadarko job, it was definitely hourly, so maybe he could have worked overtime until 5pm instead of getting off at 3pm. Anyway IMO, the least of his deficiencies was lack of gumption.

Very often when a cold-blooded monster like CW surfaces, money is a motive. And in this case it wasn't frustration over SW's handling of their finances that drove him to choose murder instead of divorce. It was his unimaginable greed and selfishness.

I think it is obvious he was never a person. He always had to be a facade because I don’t think a person is ok ome day and then decides another day to become a mass murderer.

He was fine with his lot in life until a new woman came along. One without kids and perhaps a large and varied sexual appetite.

Time for him to move on to something better. No kids. Free to do whatever . No hum drum homelife.

He was now a stud muffin. New improved Chris.

He certainly was not charismatic. I have watched sociopaths in action and they hustle for what they want. Charm, beguile.

He did that with SW. Being by her side while she was sick.

What did he do to hook NK?

He has goals. He wanted to be a NASCAR mechanic and worked hard to do it although for some reason it did not work out.

I don’t think he was passive with NK.

BBM - i don't think can be true, can it? Didn't SW control the household finances? I have no idea how income taxes and other deductions work in the US but they couldn't manage on CW's income alone. The mortgage payments were over $3000 per month IIRC and with the school fees too, things must have been tight. I don't see either of them spending money frivolously. How do taxes on income work in the US?

I don't think their finances are connected to motive either UNLESS he found something whilst SW was away. I believe that he believed she earnt the same as him as in the prison interview he said that she earnt the same so she would manage ok on her own, but he said, she said she would just give up.
