I wonder if there could be a new request of records to be released, since I'm sure .new evidence had come since it was being processed....retrieved cell phone messages, app data, etc. The door cam video was released by open records request.......what else can be requested that is new and how do we get news stations, websleuth detectives to request it?!

Most definitely. It appears to have been a very deep delete and only a few recovered text messages between the two of them appear in the discovery docs. We don't know if LE was able to recover more.
I wonder if there were any interviews asking if NK had previous affairs with other Andarko employees, etc.

It is known that at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, NK performed the following google searches:

"can cops trace text messages"
"how long do phone companies keep text messages"
"differences between text message content and text message detail"

When NK met with the CBI on Thursday, she was asked why she deleted the messages and she explained she deleted him off her phone because he lied to her and it was like a bad breakup. If you go back to her google searches, that makes this an untrue statement, IMO.

Rather than calling LE to report what she knew or suspected on Tuesday at 5 PM, she instead was busy figuring out ways to try to prevent LE from seeing the content of those text messages. She didn't contact LE until Wednesday and by then, LE already knew about her because Anadarko's security people identified her as an AP because of work emails that were discovered.

She said their conversation on Saturday night at dinner was mostly about his nutrition and his diet and she goes into obnoxious detail about this to the CBI agent, but she can't remember what they talked about in their 111 minute phone conversation on Sunday night before Shanann came home.

I trust and respect LE. In this case, they put the murderer away for life with no chance for parole. As for NK, there obviously isn't evidence that she was involved. LE may have information we haven't seen, like the deleted text messages and it's possible they feel comfortable about her.

For some who have followed this case, there's a level of discomfort with NK because what's been available to the public shows a woman who deleted evidence, lied to LE repeatedly, and who didn't appear to have any genuine empathy for the victims.

Even if he was able to do some staging in the afternoon sans NUA's interference, this was a real bad risky plan.

I've sleuthed Travis Alexander case from 2013 to 2017 with some brilliant fellow sleuthers and we still don't know what really happened on the murder day. This case even went on to trial. So frustrating.

Agree. I can't think of a more ridiculous plan than what he ended up with. It was guaranteed to get him nailed.

As a side note, imagine the kind of witness for the prosecution NK would have made with her Alzheimer's type gaps in recent memory, and her tendency to lie, lie, lie. JMO, she wouldn't have been an asset, but he would have been convicted anyway. She would have likely had days of squirming in a chair being questioned by defense attorneys in a trial.

We will likely never know the details that so many of us want to know. Sadly, I believe this includes Shanann's family and friends.

The only thing I remember along that line is that one of the cworkers said he saw cw & nk standing very close in a hallway at work, or in a corner. I don't remember the exact description of where it was in the office. The same guy said that when nk entered the room to put her lunch in the frig, CW would stare at her the whole time she walked in and back out.

Imo the affair was a known entity in the office, that's what I believe. But no I don't remember other interview questions about her.

I have to roll my eyes a little, she said the guys were only there a very short time together in that room in the morning, yet she HAD to walk in through them to put her lunch in the fridge exactly during that brief meeting. No not hunting at all. IMO

You hit the nail on the head she deleted all those messages, if that was me I would have kept every message to prove my innocence and I would have gone to the police long before she had and before THEY requested it!! Sign of guilt. I guarantee even if they don't have evidence there's reason to believe that they suspect an accomplice and that's why they went to visit Chris at prison do you ever see the FBI State Bureau of investigators and local police visit a criminal six months later just to see where he was coming from that's something Dateline might do but not FBI CBI and Frederick police there's more to this story

SHANANN was definitely a Smart Cookie and I bet she was on to them so God only knows but hopefully it will come out in time and I guarantee if it had gone to trial it would have come out they're keeping an eye on NK and wants to know where she is she's not in protection, she's a narcissist so they told her that she's in protection but actually they want to know where she is at all times because she is definitely Under Suspicion for something

I know for a fact those three law agencies would not go visit him just to get into the mind of a family annihilator there's definitely more to this story and it might take time to come out because he is so mesmerised or under the spell of this vixen but hopefully the truth will prevail and witness protection is just another name for we will know where you are at all times and you better not leave the country!

I agree. Shanann had to know more than we know she did considering how sick of worry she was in AZ. I'm thinking she surely would've had access to cell records and calls...one of the first places to look when suspecting of cheating...unless they were all on his work phone but I was thinking he used both phones with messages to NK.
I'm torn on whether she is in witness protection. I firmly believe they went back to interview him for a few crucial reasons....1...to clear SW's name in the public eye.2.; to gather more information about possible evidence showing NK in area, last phone call, or what NK knew said in the hours before and after the murder.
I truly think they told her sorry, withess protection is for victims...maybe helped her find a lawyer/advocate to help with name change/ web clearing of location, etc. But no special treatment for her.....but I bet they know exactly were she is and what name she goes by. Too bad there couldn't be a new law created in Shannan's name that outs the mistress/ charge of something to those who pretend married men, deletes information/texts in missing/murder person's cases, who serves as a catylyst/motive in the murder. Shanann's Law....

In the basement there was a phone on the workout bench. LE at that time didn't have authority to take it. I just wonder if it belonged to an accomplice or was it CW's burner phone

Yes, and who and how did whoever requested the new interview first know to request the audio/transcripts of a "impromtu" interview with CW with the 3 agencies.. ... definitely something is up. And right before that the released doorbell camera footage. Something is brewing.

I'm so curious about the dogs reacting so strongly in the basement , the phone on the workout bench and all the activity after 4am on Vivint. LE asked him about all the activity on Vivint and of course he didn't remember. There was something going on in that basement
He said he killed Shanann upstairs, wrapped her in a sheet and dragged her down the steps. Does anyone remember if the dogs reacted to the steps? I would think they would if what CW said was true

There was plenty of anonymous stuff said by self-described “co-workers” about NK on websites/FB pages that we can’t comment on here. I take anything anonymous w/a grain of salt but probably some truth mixed in there.

I understand why we didn’t have co-workers commenting on NK or CW publically. Many people probably didn’t want to be associated with the mess in any way, and I’m sure it was known that Anadarko wouldn’t be pleased to have employees speaking out. It wasn’t that long ago that a house exploded in nearby Firestone due to abandoned Anadarko pipelines. That company had more than their share of bad publicity. Employees were no doubt tired of being asked about Anadarko by friends/acquantances looking for dirt — even before the CW horror.

We have the interview with her "best friend" (whom NK was quick to speak condescendingly about). I feel like NK's resentment of the children jumps off the page, but that's just me.

Petition Calls for Chris Watts' Family Photos to Be Removed From Cell — and Prison Responds

Prison officials have responded to an online petition urging authorities to forbid family murderer Chris Watts from displaying photos in his cell of his pregnant wife and two daughters, whom he murdered in 2018.

In a statement to PEOPLE, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections said it “has no legal basis for removing the photographs from Christopher Watts,” who was transferred to a Wisconsin prison from one in Colorado in late 2018 because of security concerns.

The statement says, “Incarcerated inmates are permitted to possess certain identified items of property, including photographs. Some photographs are not allowed, such as those depicting gang signs, colors, or insignias or photographs that include nudity.”
