Does anybody know how long it takes to open a oil tank lid?

Does anybody know how long it takes to open a oil tank lid?
I'm sorry I can't find the video.
But, in the one I saw, speaking of the tiny 8" diameter "thief hatches" the girls were shoved into: the lid is 2 parts. The bottom part is bolted to the tank, where they previous cut the hole in the tank. The upper part is hinged to the base, and opens that way, on a hinge. Just like if you opened a hinged garbage can, and lifted up the front. In front, there is a folding latch that seems to work like the ones on the stronger storage bins I buy at Walmart, or a good toolbox. A latch that folds out, and goes down over the lip of the base, and is pushed in to secure it. In the video I saw, it seemed quick and easy to open the latch and push up the lid, thus exposing the opening to the tank.
What I didn't see is if there is normally a lock on the latch.

Just google "thief hatch anadarko oil tank" many images are posted but I don't want to link to them.

CW wants us to believe he is such a great guy that SW literally forgave him WHILE he was killing her.

I only caught a snippet about the house sale being delayed, it was on HLN. Anyone know why? Tysm

I'm far from being a true crime buff, but I have read about folks who have theories that killers like Scott Peterson, Jeffrey MacDonald and Darlie Routier are actually innocent. Then you have cases like Ross Harris where nobody questions he killed his son, yet some folks think it was unintentional. And while I don't agree with any of those people, I can respect their opinions.

But Chris Watts has admitted to killing his entire family. And though he'll never admit he murdered them in cold blood, the actual evidence, along with his descriptions in the prison interview about how he carried out the murders were as cold-blooded as it gets, even though he was too stupid to realize it.

Therefore, I have zero respect for those who try to rationalize his actions via victim bashing. JMO

Murder victim bashing is such a bizarre thing to me - no matter what went down/who they were...they were MURDERED.

Can anybody confirm that chris had like a photographic memory? Discovery page 41.

I babysat my nephew and niece back in the day and i definitly would remember what i put them on before bed, and i don't have a photographic memory.

Photographic because you put everything in your memory bank of a horrific event that you planned and acted out on and maybe need to remember in the future who knows he may have even made a list of what happened on his phone which he deleted I think it actually makes him look more guilty that he remembered these things because it was a traumatic event if it was just a normal night even a person with photographic memory might not even remember!?!? I remember specifics of traumatic events but I also remember a lot of other things if i feel the need and most of the time I have to tell myself to put it in my memory bank through Association because I need to recall it at a later date!

Photographic memory is like taking photographs you want to remember the moment so you turn on a portion of your brain to Associate and put it in a memory the memory bank because it is SIGNIFICANT!!

Yes and that was probably because in your mind you're watching somebody else's children and want to make sure they're in there right bedtime clothes do you know the most things we lose or our keys are cell phones are wallets the things we have on us most of the time because they're with us all the time even through obsolete events and we go through life like robots with those things we have all the time but if something changes our routine up we remember things, some people think I have a photographic memory but I always remember the most awful things or the best things, the in between gets blurred!

He also remembers what they were wearing but doesn't quite remember what happened conveniently I don't think that's possible to know the inconsequential stuff and not the Super consequential information!! He is hiding something maybe should be hypnotized, jk ..because he knows just lying about it!

When the first co-workers arrived at cervi 3-19, Chris was parked in an unusual spot, across the parking space over by the oil pump or well head. This spot was closer to where he buried SW. I would guess that he first went to the oil tanks to park, so that he could murder the girls at once and carry them up the stairs together.
i think the part that took the longest was digging the hole unless he had done some of that work earlier. For that reason he probably moved the truck over to the well head.
No way he dragged SW out first and left her lying there on the berm while the kids watched.
Also, I don't know how sensitive that parking space is to footprints, but he would have 2 longish round trips to the tanks if he hadn't parked nearer to the tanks. I still don't believe that coworker was telling the whole story of why he went back to cervi the next morning to look around.

Do you think the co-worker was somehow involved?

IMO he heard the news CW’s family was missing and his hinky meter went off thinking about where CW was parked, the boots he was wearing and the fact he wandered off to a strange place as everyone else was leaving because he alledgedly had to take a dump. So the co-worker went back to check it out.

Were I in his shoes, I may well have done the same thing. In hindsight maybe seems obvious he should have called police. But remember, on that day CW was still believed to be a nice, quiet family guy (except among those few people who knew inside details). I can understand wanting to check out his suspicions privately rather calling the police on his buddy.

Exactly! I didn’t even realise it was a ‘thing’ until I was unlucky enough to read some of the comments under a really sweet video of Shannan, Bella and Celeste. There aren’t enough words to describe my contempt for the bean-brained idiots who enjoy bad-mouthing a dead woman and her children. I never met Shannan, but feel very protective of her. She deserved so much better.
