Yes, they have BM pushing the garbage way down in the can at McDonalds.

And he did not eat there, he went there ti use the trash can just as he went around the bus loop, wihich.is just few blocks before reaching the hotel with the single purpose of using the trash can.

Do we know what kind of cyling gloves Suzanne wore? I always pictured open gloves, but if they were found wadded up in het closet, wouldn't it be hard to wad up the open kind? Maybe she had full coverage gloves. Might be chilly riding in May...

Suzanne strikes me as a tidy person... wadded up gloves seems an anomaly.... maybe she was in a hurry the day she removed them.... but why would she wear them all the way to her closet ever?!

I hope they tested the INSIDE of her gloves for DNA. Barry's.

Maybe Barry thought he could be clever, using Suzanne's gloves to disconnect wires in the garage. They didn't report fingerprints as I recall. DNA.

I rather picture Suzanne leaving her gloves in/with her helmet, convenient for the next ride. If Barry disconnected those cables, ber gloves might've been Right There-- and HE balled them up when he removed them.

Was it an oversight by Barry anyway, that Suzanne's biking clothes seemed to be on her closet floor? (Am I over-remembering that? Was it JUST her gloves? The shorts he retrieved as a scent item, were those on the floor too?

Did he have a Welp Moment when he identified the shorts for LE? I mean, surely she had multiples, but if you're trying to peddle a bike story, do you really want LE to see that her biking clothes are at home?

Maybe Barry's ghost-rider wife, when cycling without gloves, without her camelback, without her sunglasses, without those shorts. Barry, did she go biking in a brown towel?

I just want to make sure Barry didn't borrow her gloves....

So many questions that the other housemates could clear up but, with the exception of one interview with LE, IMO Barry prevented additional exchanges. And he likely boxed up Suzanne's belongings before anybody else came home... he'd say it was out of grief, but we know better.

Question....

If Suzanne was changing bed linens in anticipation of a house guest, and Suzanne was sleeping in the main bed (as indicated by her Bible and her daily devotional), where was Barry sleeping? Were they still sharing a bed? Out of habit, obligation, pacification?

If Barry was sleeping in that other bedroom, wouldn't Suzanne plan to wait until Sunday to wash the sheets?

Was Barry living at the house in the days prior to 5/9?

He seems furtive. Prowling. So much left to questions. For now.

There are lots of telematics yet to to hear about!!

This is an extremely intriguing question. Although surely the girls would know the answer. I wonder when he signed the lease on that Tailwinds apartment...

The nice thing about lint traps is that they tell the story. Wash red towels, there'll be red fuzz. Fail to clean it for 2 or 3 loads, it'll layer right up. You can count the cycles by color layers!

My guess is that Suzanne ran a load of sheets and would have moved them to the dryer. If she lived that long.

I think Barry opened the washer and threw his laundry in, never looking, never noticing, never caring that something could be in there already.

Cycle done, he moved them to the dryer. Where his shorts were found. And the syringe cap.

Apparently there was no true crime podcast about syringe caps. But there will be one now --

I imagine a whole show on how badly the hunter from Maysville covered his tracks.

I hope he gets to watch it on a loop. 24/7. For LWOP and 156 years...

Can you or anyone point me in the direction of texts/messages between Suzanne and JL discussing Arizona?

I'm looking - I believe it's in the transcript from Plunder, and it's in the first two days of the PH, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. I just remember that the two of them spoke of more than one place they could move, with Suzanne doing searches on Ecuador - but I do believe they also spoke together of AZ. I'll keep looking.

I thought her Bible was in the sitting room just outside the master bedroom?

I too am very curious about whether Barry was around much or at all, during the week (or more) before Mother's Day.

This isn't SM and JL, but I found in @Niner 's notes where the DA was concerned about BM claiming to be moving to Arizona:

CO - CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #60 *ARREST*

See the bottom of her 5/6/21 update.

"Prosecution to turn over discovery to the defense by May 27. DA concerned he was flight risk: asset selling, recently bought vehicles, took his bobcat to Indiana & told several he was moving to Arizona."

I use open gloves for road biking but for mountain biking it’s either no gloves and no rings or full gloves. Some times you are riding through brushing areas or areas with branches, even if you don’t mean to and no one wants a branch to go through your open gloves or rings.

I can't watch Plunder, so I appreciate anyone able to locate this for me.
I've followed along but only ever recall it was Barry talking about AZ, not Suzanne and JL.

Body moved to cooler and driven to it's ultimate location

Just jumping off of this post to ask a question.

Reading back and continuing until now, there are many comments about a cooler as if its fact that a cooler was involved in SM's disappearance. Where did this come from? Can someone cite a source? Or is this just one of those persistent rumors? I can't figure it out. TIA

this was my entire post
Here's a scenario I've been considering due to what appears to be a lack of forensic evidence at the house:

She texts him to bring hot tub stuff
She is changed out of her suit (that's why it's in the bedroom) and into the shorts and string top (he claims this is what she was wearing)
She is standing near the hot tub when he pulls in - does she know / hear him pulling in? if not, she is cleaning the hot tub thinking all is normal
He pushes her with force into the hot tub and drowns her there
Body moved to cooler and driven to it's ultimate location
--
the crack in the doorframe was done earlier - and this action precipitated her text to her sister about his becoming more violent.

In one text message Suzanne told SO, “says he loves me and can’t handle the pain from me not giving him the love he needs. Does not mention all the damage he’s done to me. Physically, mentally.”

In later text she wrote, “Told him I’m done. That I need peace. Not sure what’s next” and “He tries to use money as a tool and the girls. I didn’t take the bait.”

As many of us thought - the communication with the BFF is going to tell the tale....

the cooler is part of a possible scenario - and apparently no coolers were found at the home during the search warrants -

an avid hunter like BM without coolers does not make sense

Moorman said CBI agents brought up other concerns as well.

“They did ask us, ‘why can’t we find any coolers at the house?’ And I said, ‘well I have no idea. I don’t know how many they had to begin with,” he said. “But I assume, as a hunter and a guy that maybe camps, he would have a few, and they couldn’t find a single one.”

As the owner of a landscaping company, Barry would’ve had crews working outdoors. It seems like he’d have coolers in his truck.

I have no idea of it’s connected to his murder of Suzanne, but it’s odd that a hunter, landscaper, outdoorsy type wouldn’t have any coolers.

I always empty my lint trap, every time I use the dryer. Who doesn't?
I wonder if using a dart leaves evidence. Maybe a trace of blood or a trace of the tranquilizer fluid.
That could be why the sheets were cleaned. Just throwing that out there.

Even I do it, and I'm an absent-minded and hasty housekeeper.

That cap was a recent deposition in that lint collector, IMO (and hopefully the guy who found it took a pic of it sitting no top of any lint, so indicating).

I think we're going to hear about coolers at trial. No reason for the prosecution to bring it up at the PH, since the Judge already has all the evidence (hopefully notated) and this was the defense's chance to question some of it - they for some reason didn't want to bring up coolers. Things that make you go, "Hmmm."

It's speculation. Reasonable, though. Using regular deductive reasoning and ordinary facts. It's almost as if no one wanted to bring it up, one way or another, at the PH. If in fact, coolers are involved, they must not lead to exculpatory evidence for Barry

Wasn't the sheath found in the dryer vent? Not the lint trap?

If I recall, allegedly LE asked Andy why they didn’t find any coolers. I found it odd because why ask Andy who wasn’t even living near them for several years and LE knew by then the girls had been camping. That alleged snippet created speculation among some followers of the case.
