I do wonder if his immediate relatives are afraid of him ?

Lindsey handled much of the case during various hearings. No word on why he's leaving. Stanley says there are four prosecutors on the case with plans to bring a prosecutor to the Morphew case full-time. Lindsey was working on Morphew plus a full docket. #SuzanneMorphew

If he was leasing the white truck, I suspect he gave up the lease after his "unfortunate incarceration". Doesn't make sense paying for a big fancy truck while he can't drive it. I have to wonder if he sold Bob, the cat or entrusted it to someone's care?

Out of curiosity, did the truck used to empty the storage locker have Indiana or Colorado plates? I did notice it was a Ford, people stay loyal to their brand. I suspect it was either SD's or one of his buddy's trucks and I would think they would have Colorado plates.

I don't think the plates were visible, but I'll look again. It could have been SD's truck, if she has one, or like you said, one of his buddies.

I don't know whether he leased a new truck or bought it outright. He doesn't seem to be the type of guy to lease anything. He is paying the lease for SD's house, though. Wonder why that is. Maybe he's just servicing the account.

Went to @AmandaReckonwith 's case archive looking for pics of the truck and noticed this pic. It's May 21, 2020, do we know if the Bobcat and trailer had been moved since he parked them on the 9th? Or is this the exact configuration they were found in on the 10th?

Since BM continued to work after May 10, 2020 -- we know that the Bobcat moved once the house was released to BM which I think was probably near the May 21st date.

Agree it is an interesting comment -IMO sounds like he resigned without a sit down with the DA . It could be he was not comfortable with the notoriety of the Morphew case and the spotlight or he just clashed with his new boss due to different styles or something else. It is hard to make an assessment of his strength in the courtroom.
From where I sit, a shake up in this team is a good thing. Plenty of time to get up to speed for the new person. Hopefully they find a really strong, charasmatic, persuasive presenter who can connect witht the jury and go toe to toe with the defense.

UPDATE: One of the lead prosecutors in the #BarryMorphew case, Deputy DA Jeff Lindsay has resigned. In a statement from Chaffee County District Attorney Linda Stanley said “We are sad and disappointed that Jeff will no longer be a part of our office but we wish him the best.”

10th Judicial District Attorney Jeff Chostner confirmed with me that Jeff Lindsey will join his team in Pueblo in early November. DA Chostner said, "We've had several openings as you may know and we were most fortunate to obtain Jeff's services."

Perhaps the homeowners who aren’t afraid and have protective orders against him will pay him to snow plow this winter. That won’t earn him much though. JMO

Past photos of his truck like during Andy’s search show a Colorado firefighter plate which is red and white.
Wonder if SD has a Veteran plate? Speaking of her, his chauffeur parked in a Disabled spot when he got out.
ETA yes I know it’s not SD driving but they could have used her placard. Or… just felt entitled to park there. JMO
