One reason it may be filed is because the letter of intent, or subsequent lawsuit, behooves Barry in the eyes of Suzanne's children by declaring all investigators were out to get Barry arrested while overlooking possible exculpatory evidence. In fact, the daughter(s) may have instigated this lawsuit.

The letter states...the concern is the glove box...MSM chose to mix it all together. IMO. The letter is widely available on SM, just not MSM sources that I can find. Most of the MSM articles in response to the letter are way off base. Sadly the intent on MSM would be to sensationalize the information, not to be useful to the public, as they chose clearly to confuse things, the information is clearly stated in the letter regardless of how we think it's pertinent, IMO. I find it ironic we can only consider MSM as a bona fide source, but I realize the challenges for admins if we open it up.

I still think that the same partial DNA match will be found inside the glove box on the service manual...RR's just like Beamers...still have those service dates diaried and signed off on by technicians...I know the info is in the database...but they still have those....Plus, the owners manuals are reference by technicians as well. I would check that out. If there is a a match inside the glove box.....that would seal the deal for me.

I believe his defense attys are behind it. A cooperative attempt to question the integrity of the prosecution and LE, specifically to influence the public and, ultimately, the potential jury.

Originally I suspected this kind of move wasn't something Barry would pull, but instead thought it was the defense. It still might be, but then I was reminded that Barry Morphew is certainly no stranger to legal troubles, and time spent in court. Indiana Supreme Court public access case search - MyCase It most certainly could have been his idea. Again though, like others have stated, I believe it's all smoke and mirrors. Likely the exact same way Barry had been living for a long time. Manipulating and scheming to get what he wants.

They don’t limit themselves to defending men only. I am sure that reputation came from defending college men and men during the height of the me-too era so perhaps men charged that can afford their services seek them out and they welcome that reputation. We have discussed various places where BM might have disappeared SM's remains.

He could have dug a grave.
He could have put her under a new tree.
He could have thrown her down an old abandon mine shift. But old mine locations are clearly documented.

IMO, if there are old mines in the area there are also a number of old abandoned wells - hand dug. They can be 2-3 ft wide. These are probably not on any map. What is done with old wells?

BM might have happened to stumble across abandon wells hunting or VFFing. He could have put SM in one. Might have even topped it off with one of his nice big boulders. His trademark.

There's a few wells on way to Gunnison, one in Monarch. Same direction BM followed the bull elk iirc, although maybe wrong.
Have been looking for water well applications just in case there was anyone with a name tied to Suzanne that had made one prior to May 2020, haven't been successful, who knew Chaffee County had 2 Water Judges.

10 of the 14 miles were accounted for via the helmet dump/Garfield turn around. There are still four miles somewhere.

If they were in the store they would open for him.

Hopefully, we'll get that info with the case file release. I don't think it's specially said in the AA, but I think it's alluded to with the FBIs quiet insistence that the shop owners are "mistaken."

Don't worry too much about these baloney lawsuits. I just had an opposing lawyer complain to the court that I am always filing "topless fotos" of myself in court cases.

What was not mentioned is that I was a 67 year old man sending the one Court one photo of me in my bathing suit to show I was in the islands on the date of proposed court conference.

In my experience, about 15% of lawyers believe it is good practice to talk total baloney, knowing that it is false. See for example Cristhian Bahena trial. His lawyers knowingly purveyed total lies hoping to win the case.

Great example. His female attorney really grated on my nerves, just like these two do.

Barry supporters are usually a bit ashamed and sort of hem and haw with their thin logic and justifications at being supportive of a murderer, but they now have this little shred upon which to hang their support for him.

I am swaying towards that BM was encouraged to file this suit, and that the law firm filing the suit are doing so to punish / get revenge on the prosecutors in a roundabout way. Small town politics!

That (what you said), plus BM now has another reason to travel to Denver. Ya know, since he's limited in his travels but is allowed to go to Denver to see his defense attorneys, so now he can make even more trips there!
