He obviously didn’t chase her into the bobcat IMO. To me it seems he caught her outside, she ran to the master and he beat the door down. He may have gone to town to wait until he knew she would either have passed or he had a backup plan. Who is to say he didn’t load his bobcat or the one from the River home with sand, gravel and or dirt. IMO the only reason 3 dogs hit on the bobcat speak volumes. Either he killed her while in bobcat or killed her somewhere and transferred cadaverine from wherever. I doubt he killed her in the house but anywhere else is possible and most likely imo.
Also Barry didn’t wash his own dishes or do laundry. He merely terrorized her in the home and whatever else he did is up for debate. IMO
I've had a thought. He may have jumped out of the truck with a loaded .22. He went around to the sunning porch if you are correct that Suzanne was in the shower, he finds her not there and goes through the breezeway out the front and then into the far corner of the garage, where I think we will learn is his workbench. Then he goes and breaks in the master bedroom door and ejects the chambered round to load the dart.

The unspent round landed "near the right side of the bed." Gonna break out these visual aids again. Placement of doors, walls, furniture based on images from previous real estate listing, Chaffee County public records, and overhead photography.

Would be interesting to know which sides of the bed Suzanne and Barry typically slept on.
Sorry for double quote.

Also if Barry caught her outside and viewed her on the cams either before he came home or during she may easily have taken whatever was going on inside virtually or by herself.
SO was a good enough friend to attain a spy pen for Suzanne; I know lots of lovely ladies who’s bffs would also gift her other electronic devices. Maybe the reason behind Barry’s searches for how do you make a woman ….? He was livid and that’s why he jumped out of the truck and spun around the property in a frenzy. IMO
I hope he refrained from killing turkey and can only choke his chicken in the future. IMO
Women should be allowed to do what they want especially in regards to their backyard and bedroom. I believe Barry had some eyes inside the house. Having visited family members as a young child the deer eyes are creepy. Don’t doubt for a second he had eyes on her 24/7. Uber creepy IMO

Excellent speculation IMO

The dart and the bullet are artefacts of the staging IMO - he didn't clean those things up properly/forgot about them. But it shows what the crime scene probably looked like. I think he covered the victim with the sheets (and thus had to wash them). That's how the cap got mixed up.

Thanks for the great visual aids and timelines SK!
Barry handling her bike, helmet, or camelbak yes, if he ever moved them around in the garage, or helped her unload her vehicle.

BUT I see it totally different for the bobcat. Hardly a common place for her prints/DNA to be. No reason to be in equipment barefooted. I don't picture Suzanne or any spouse sitting in or climbing over their husbands construction equipment much less barefoot, unless it was done in distress. It's not a toy, nor a comfortable place to sit. I think a woman's print/bare foot would be a huge flag. Especially considering she was sunbathing, they have that proof in their hands. There's just no reason to be in equipment period. My guess is the print was partial and it was very light but discernible as two officers witnessed they saw it. I think it was light print because there was no weight behind it, she didn't step there on her own, Barry placed her there waiting it out, after he drugged her in the bedroom. I do believe she died quickly, hence some cadaverine on the bobcat that the dogs scented.
I stick by my thoughts he knew about her affair and even knew the name Jeff by Friday night, hence their huge fight and led to the Facebook likings of 3 Jeff's.
Has to make one wonder, why did he drag in Jeff Puckett (?), a man he only knew had a criminal record, not a friend, or someone who approached him for work, or ever worked for him before... he didn't need him even if the job was real. It was originally scheduled to be him and Morgan only. Then he asked Cassidy and Jeff?
bbm
BM would have wanted to tell the right one of the Jeffs right away, that he intended to kill his lover now or that he had just killed her. ;)

The sheets were off of the guest bed (MM1s bed) upstairs. I still can't puzzle out any reasonable explanation for the sheets. Someone had to have gone upstairs and stripped them off of the bed on purpose.

Barry said the sheets were in the dryer because MM1 and her BFF were spending the night at Puma Path so Suzanne washed the sheets. But nope, MM1 indicated to LE that they planned to get home after dropping off MM2.

Being as the Morphew's are/were a very appearances based family there was a linen closet somewhere in that house filled with plenty of sheet sets no one would have missed but Suzanne. So why strip an upstairs bed? If Suzanne had been prepping the room for guests (I'm thinking like my appearances obsessed MiL)... well first of all, the sheets on it were already clean, because the last time someone visited the room would have been cleaned and sheets changed as soon as the guest left. The kind of people who have big lodge homes with guest rooms have extra sheets so no bed ever hangs around unmade. You see where I'm getting stuck.

Maybe Barry had been sleeping in MM1’s bed that week while the girls were camping? IMO

Okay, I can see that. He stripped the sheets so LE wouldn't know Suzanne had thrown him out of the marital bed. It's overkill, but he's done a lot of that.

If BM laundered bed linens, why?

@sk716 bbm sbm for focus Thx for the idea in your post.:)
Or so someone else would not be able to tell that :rolleyes:Papa Bear had been sleeping in that bed? That is, if he did sleep there.
Someone else being MM1 or MM2?

MM2 was fully aware of the marital issues. MM1 was not.

I think that Suzanne's side was the right side. From the real estate listing photos, the lamp on that side looks more feminine.

Can I ask where you got the information MM1 was not fully aware?

In the AA, she says that everything was fine at home.

This is MM1:
Sergeant Hysjulien next contacted REDACTED, who stated that she had last talked to Suzanne on the night of May 9, 2020.6 She had last seen Suzanne at the end of April 2020. REDACTED advised that she

had sent a text message to Suzanne wishing her a happy Mother’s Day on May 10, 2020, but Suzanne had not replied. She also tried calling Suzanne, but the call went directly to voicemail. At that time, she received a call from Barry, asking if she contacted Suzanne. REDACTED advised him that she attempted to but was not able to reach her. Barry asked REDACTED to let him know if she was later able to reach Suzanne. REDACTED stated that Suzanne mountain-bikes regularly during the afternoon hours, often using a wide trail across the highway. Suzanne normally took her cell phone, sunglasses and blue backpack/hydration bladder on the bike rides.

When REDACTED was asked if there were any concerns with her parent’s relationship, she denied any concerns or issues. When asked if there was any reason why Suzanne may leave the area, she denied that Suzanne would ever leave for an extended amount of time. She also denied any recent incidents or concerns between Suzanne and anyone else.

This is MM2:

Sergeant Hysjulien spoke with REDACTED on May 11, 2020 and REDACTED admitted that her parents argued a lot and that she feared they would separate or divorce. She said that they were “not doing well” and that it was for the best that they would separate. REDACTED reported that they (Barry and Suzanne) were both in an “unsafe place” emotionally.

REDACTED stated, “Him’ REDACTED and my dad are different people and they (Suzanne and Barry) argue and, I mean, they get in fights and … I don’t know they both have- they both have just not felt safe at some point.” REDACTED added that Suzanne and Barry “weren’t getting along” and had discussed divorce.7

@sk716 and @mom2chloe bbm Thx for your post, prompting me to look at PP listing. Pix 30 & 31 show a lamp w moose antler base on left-side nightstand (viewed from foot of bed), and a lamp w glass base on right.
So, yes, :) I see what you're saying. my2ct

Does anyone recall what color the sheets in the dryer were? I recall brown but may be confusing that with the color of the shorts. TIA!
If anyone has a link to the AA I would appreciate it. TIA

I would have wanted the kids to stay the night after a long drive…not turnaround and drive another hour or so back to Gunnison. I would have washed the sheets so they were nice and fresh even if they had been on the bed for months. I am more perplexed about the unwashed coffee mug on the counter…that does not fit with what people say about Suzanne.

It's only 15 or so miles to Gunnison. Given my 'druthers, I'd go the extra 20 miles to sleep in my own bed.

That's because she didn't leave the coffee cup on the counter, Barry did.

Sorry not quite. Gunnison is 50+ miles from Maysville and over an hour drive. It is reported that Barry does not drink coffee.

It's a good hour to Gunnison:

59 min (53.4 mi) via US-50 W

I also think it was SM's hope that the girls and their friend would have Sunday dinner at home and spend the night. IMO, I think it was the girls that wanted to avoid the brewing tension in Maysville and why they made no effort to arrive early on Mother's Day.
