Sorry not quite. Gunnison is 50+ miles from Maysville and over an hour drive. It is reported that Barry does not drink coffee.

I'll grant that Gunnison is a lot longer of a drive than I guessed and you are also correct that Barry doesn't drink coffee and yet he's still the person that left the coffee cup out.

In the AA, she says that everything was fine at home.

This is MM1:
Sergeant Hysjulien next contacted REDACTED, who stated that she had last talked to Suzanne on the night of May 9, 2020.6 She had last seen Suzanne at the end of April 2020. REDACTED advised that she

had sent a text message to Suzanne wishing her a happy Mother’s Day on May 10, 2020, but Suzanne had not replied. She also tried calling Suzanne, but the call went directly to voicemail. At that time, she received a call from Barry, asking if she contacted Suzanne. REDACTED advised him that she attempted to but was not able to reach her. Barry asked REDACTED to let him know if she was later able to reach Suzanne. REDACTED stated that Suzanne mountain-bikes regularly during the afternoon hours, often using a wide trail across the highway. Suzanne normally took her cell phone, sunglasses and blue backpack/hydration bladder on the bike rides.

When REDACTED was asked if there were any concerns with her parent’s relationship, she denied any concerns or issues. When asked if there was any reason why Suzanne may leave the area, she denied that Suzanne would ever leave for an extended amount of time. She also denied any recent incidents or concerns between Suzanne and anyone else.

This is MM2:

Sergeant Hysjulien spoke with REDACTED on May 11, 2020 and REDACTED admitted that her parents argued a lot and that she feared they would separate or divorce. She said that they were “not doing well” and that it was for the best that they would separate. REDACTED reported that they (Barry and Suzanne) were both in an “unsafe place” emotionally.

REDACTED stated, “Him’ REDACTED and my dad are different people and they (Suzanne and Barry) argue and, I mean, they get in fights and … I don’t know they both have- they both have just not felt safe at some point.” REDACTED added that Suzanne and Barry “weren’t getting along” and had discussed divorce.7
Thank you very much. When I read what MM1 stated, I felt she was not stating all she knew. Not an intentional attempt to cover-up something nefarious, but just like all those happy pictures we saw - the perfect family on the outside. The public persona's the Morphew family valued so much and wanted everyone to believe. There is just no way she was not aware. All JMO~

MM1 is Barry's favorite pawn, er I mean child, but she hadn't been living with them since the move to CO. MM2 seemed to share her impressions of home freely with her BF and BFF, but how much would she have shared of the fighting with MM1?

My sibling experience doesn't really work here since we were raised by a single mother, but I've seen the "favorite" ignore bad behavior from a Dad in another family (Dad was cheating, not murdering.). Caused a lot of fighting between the siblings before everything blew up. MM2 is in an impossible position.

Excellent speculation IMO

The dart and the bullet are artefacts of the staging IMO - he didn't clean those things up properly/forgot about them. But it shows what the crime scene probably looked like. I think he covered the victim with the sheets (and thus had to wash them). That's how the cap got mixed up.
Sir do you imagine the dart was cause of death or tranq was the beginning of the end of whatever he planned for her especially whether loss of life occurred at home, performed with Bob cat or elsewhere dependent on 3 dogs hitting on Bobcat with one seating itself on seat as is a person? Any advice in whether dog hits are indicative of before, during or after death? TIA.

I would have wanted the kids to stay the night after a long drive…not turnaround and drive another hour or so back to Gunnison. I would have washed the sheets so they were nice and fresh even if they had been on the bed for months. I am more perplexed about the unwashed coffee mug on the counter…that does not fit with what people say about Suzanne.

Frazee-like (cinnamon rolls on the counter of the murdered fiancee).

He probably took a few showers. There were wet towels all over the floor. He couldn't risk having cadaverine all over himself. Which is probably the reason for so many changes of shirts in a few hours time. What a creep!
Think about what he wasn't doing all day with the exception of about 10 minutes....working. So how could he possibly explain multiple changes of clothing or showers?

He couldn't have known, except he had already Suzanne's phone, or could he? Who does ask out of the blue, whether daughter had called mum?

MOO but not enough.
MM2 was fully aware of the marital issues. MM1 was not.[/QUOTE
I don't know if I can agree here. I thin both girls were fully aware of the tension, the problems in the marriage...and likely discussed it amongst themselves. After all, they both have a vested interest in the family's future. What is different is how they likely saw the source of the problems...MM1 blamed Mom....MM2 blamed Dad, imo.

I am focused on what I believe to be the most damning evidence against BM....the 15 hours that he himself claims to have been with his wife from 2:47pm on Saturday till 5:am on Sunday....the exact period of time that her phone was dark; even though she was participating in a wedding the next day, and actively communicating with SO about it....and was actively communicating with JL. All up and until BM came home on Saturday afternoon. He is the last person to see SM alive....and her phone was dark forevermore.

More will come to light soon I imagine as we move through motions hearings. The gaps are obviously I think or people wouldn’t still be speculating in an attempt to fill the gaps. It is by far one of the more interesting cases for sure.

If you look at it on the timeline. He was on the wall in Broomfield wondering why in the heck MM1 & MM2 hadn't already called in a panic. He was tired off waiting around, so he prompted her to call Suzanne and discover that she was missing.

11:57 am to 12:25 pm, Barry’s phone was near the Via Varra work site for the wall, he removed blocks from wall.

12:06 pm BM calls MM1

12:36 – Barry’s truck arrived at the hotel parking lot. He exited the truck carrying one white trash bag (larger in size than the previous bags in one hand); in the other hand he carried a black container, along with a green/teal item, possibly a piece of clothing.

12:38 – Barry placed the bags, black container, and clothing from his truck beside the curb near the hotel lobby. He then walked to his truck, appeared to pick up a small item from inside, picked up the trash bag, coat and container and walked towards the dumpsters at the end of the lot.

12:41 – Barry walked back across the lot towards the hotel lobby with nothing in his hands.

12:42-6:03 pm BM in room at HIE

If it is Suzanne’s coffee and she never rinsed the cup on Saturday or tossed the cold cup of coffee and put the cup in the dishwasher that seems out of character or she or someone else had a half cup of coffee on Sunday and left the cup. I don’t recall any dna info so far on the coffee cup. Odd that Saturday night plate was in the dishwasher but not the coffee cup.

I think the coffee was left out to make it look as though Suzanne had half finished her morning coffee before going on her bike ride.
I think Barry thought he was being clever!!

That would make sense. Whilst in reality, she had left it because he disturbed her and she didnt get to finish it... Or wash it up.

So you either believe she was alive Sunday morning and made coffee or she left a coffee cup from Saturday on the counter but put the single plate from a steak dinner shared by two in the dishwasher?

Nobody cares about the DNA in this case, it doesn't mean anything. There are very basic questions that Barry cannot answer consistently or truthfully.

Here's the big one:

When did he last see his wife?
Barry stated he last saw Suzanne wearing short white shorts and a white string-type shirt.
...
When Barry was asked of his last image of Suzanne, he initially replied that he did not see her on the morning of May 10th or remember a last image. SA Grusing walked Barry through his prior statements of seeing Suzanne and describing her clothing. Barry was asked multiple times what his last image of her was and he did not answer the question. Finally, to elicit some response, SA Grusing asked if he even remembered seeing a lump of covers in his bed before he left for Broomfield. Barry replied that he saw, “Probably just the lump, there. I, I, I, detail is, remember her breathing.”
...
SA Grusing asked Barry when that last time he saw Suzanne was that night, since he only heard her snoring Sunday morning. He replied, “I would say, between eight, eight and nine. If I was guessing.”

SA Grusing asked if she went to bed nude or with pajamas and Barry stated, “No, she never sleeps in the nude. I don’t know if she was nude, after, when we had sex, but I don’t know if she, what she put on when she it on, but she a stuff on. She doesn’t sleep in the nude.”

SA Grusing asked Barry when he last saw her and he answered, “Probably during sex.” He added, “Cause like most men, I probably fell asleep. Pretty soon after that.”
...
SA Grusing went back to the first paragraph on the audit and told Barry that investigators still don’t have from him the last time he saw Suzanne alive and asks Barry what time he would say. SA Grusing explained that investigators are looking for last proof of life because we have a difference of her breathing and then Barry seeing her. Barry said, “Yeah.”

SA Grusing asked when Barry would say he last saw her alive. Barry said, “Well, I would say five o’clock in the morning I seen her in the bed.”

SA Grusing asks Barry what he saw. Barry said, “I mean that’s, I don’t, I just see a lump there, because the light from the bathroom, the light in the rooms not on but bathroom right there lights up a little bit.”81

SA Grusing asks Barry what he sees. Barry said, “I don’t specifically see anything, but I know from peripheral vision walking in and out that she’s laying there- I just know she’s laying there. I’m not saying I looked directly at her … but she, but I specifically, one hundred percent, no doubt in my mind heard her snoring lightly when I left.”

SA Grusing asks if Suzanne normally snores lightly. Barry said, “Sometimes she does, it’s not all the time, but when she’s in a deep, deep sleep, yeah.”

SA Grusing clarifies that it is not an all-out snore, but a light snore.

Barry said, “Yeah, I mean, I mean she does it. I mean she’s done it her whole life, just not every night, but yeah it happens.”

SA Grusing asks about detail. Barry said, “I would say f-, five o’clock in the morning. Thereabouts when I walked out.”

SA Grusing clarifies again that Barry the last thing he hears is Suzanne lightly snoring.

Barry said, “Yep. And there- there is no doubt, one hundred percent that she was in that bed because of that. Like I said I don’t specifically ‘member looking directly at her, but I remember the snoring. One hundred percent, no doubt in my mind.”
...
SA Grusing directed Barry’s attention to the second sentence and said that Barry as her husband is the last person that saw her and that it seemed that May 9th is the last time Barry saw her and May 10th is the last time he heard her breathing. SA Grusing asked Barry if that is correct and Barry said, “Yes.”79

Dna matters on the cup if it isn’t Suzanne’s yes. The contents matter to ensure there no sedatives. It is facts that will win this case for prosecution and if they did not test the cup that would be a big miss for me if I were a juror.

IMO unlikely but the cup could belong to someone other than SM or BM, maybe even an accessory to BM. I assume the cup was tested for DNA.

I have been thinking about this. I doubt he covered the victim and then washed the sheets. My guess is something like this. He used the sheets from that bed to cover SM, scrambled got a pair from the linen closet threw them in the dryer and gave the story about why the bed was stripped. Every time BM concocts a story I am thinking about the reason behind it.

I don't think so. I think BM used the brown towel that has never been recovered. (SM actually had "change MM1's sheets" jotted down on her to-do-list).

I've got questions about the to-do list. It's discussed with the Salida Stove and Spa segment of the PH. I can't find it independently confirmed but the defense still has a lot of time to introduce exculpatory evidence. Barry staged so many other things, why not a to-do list? And how did Barry's shorts end up in the dryer with those sheets? There are a lot of gaps and a lot of things that don't make any sense.

Totally agree that the brown towel is with Suzanne.

SALIDA STOVE & SPA: Agent Graham said the owners had told him #BarryMorphew had been in the store acquiring to get his hot tub fixed on May 9 from 4-5:30 p.m. The investigator said the owner had told them that Morphew didn't buy anything either.

Agent Graham is being asked about Mallory Morphew sheets in the dryer. #SuzanneMorphew had a to-do list on the kitchen counter and one of the items said Mal sheets. Judge just reminded Eytan to keep the cross short cause the state only had 15 min with Graham.
