I have to admit that I'm surprised that the State appears so unprepared. Not a good look IMO.

I hate to say this, but the prosecution IMO seemed unprepared from the very beginning and this was talked about at length at that time but many felt that possibly the prosecution just wasn't revealing all their cards/information yet and had hopes this would change. I have continued to have doubts, and today's information we have so far learned, IMO, convinces me now that sadly, justice for Suzanne may never happen now. I hope and pray I am wrong.

(And just for clarification purposes, I do believe 100% that BM is responsible for Suzanne's demise).

None of the discovery problems are incurable and there is no evidence of willful misconduct by any investigative agency or the DA's office. None of the issues we know of will result in dismissal of the case before trial.

It would be an absolute shocker. But this case is all over the place.

I did read a tweet earlier today about broadcasting the Webex on YouTube. I assumed that it it had to do with that time that a certain person streamed a Barry hearing live on YouTube. I didn’t realize it was about today. Tweet seems to be gone too, or I can’t find it. That person really didn’t care that she had done it then, either.

The person didn’t just hack in to watch and listen, they were broadcasting it on their YouTube channel, so no , not innocent or unplanned.
I think Megnut was being a bit tongue in cheek. As in “ someone didn’t know they couldn’t vote for their dead wife”. That’s how I read OP.

I don't think this was a phone issue -- this was an intentional recording of the WebEx hearing and rebroadcast on a blogger's YT channel. @Ashley Franco makes it clear all after phones, computers, electronics were banned from the courtroom after lunch due to the breach by the unnamed.

Defense requests witnesses be sequestered in Barry Morphew murder trial - KRDO

SALIDA, Colo. (KRDO) -- Witnesses will be sequestered in the Barry Morphew murder trial. Morphew, 54, is accused of killing his wife and the mother of his two daughters in 2020.

Suzanne Morphew, who was 48 when she was last seen, disappeared on Mother's Day 2020. Her body, however, was never found.

Monday, Judge Ramsey Lama granted the defense's sequester request. Now, witnesses won't be allowed to observe trial proceedings or talk to anyone about the case when the trial begins in May.

Judge Lama just took over the case after the previous Chaffee County judge disqualified himself because of a possible conflict of interest involving the counsel of potential witnesses.
