Do we know if anyone confirmed (LE, FBI, CBI, etc.) all the date changes and or changed work requirements for the Bloomfield Project? Did BM make up the sudden work requirement or has that ever been confirmed with the General Contractor or the representatives for the Bloomfield Project? I personally do not recall any extensive questioning of the Contractors for that project and if he actually had to be there to perform some work. I guess is there anything to back up the sudden work requirement out of town or was this BM planning a get away from town. When was the first indication, aside from MG, that he started to set up the work for that Monday. It sounds like they really didn't do much at the job site, did someone else come in to do the work?
I hope this is OK to share and not a violation of TOS....It's a report from Lauren, but not from her "station".

‘I’m not the other woman’: Second contractor speaks out about Suzanne Morphew investigation | FOX21 News Colorado

"Still, Gentile reports she did cooperate with most of what investigators asked of her, including, she said, five interviews. She also turned over her phone, but said she declined a polygraph."

Oh, no doubt being a friend and co worker of Barry's ruined that time period of her life. MG was suddenly without a job and said she couldn't find one. I think she lost her home, too. I never suspected her of having an affair with Barry. I do think he easily conned people into doing stuff for him though. moo

I want to thank you for forcing me to take a deeper look. Hence, I shall remove that wide step, regardless of the refusal to take a polygraph exam.

From the PH:
Agent Graham was on the stand:

hot tub chemicals” – BM @ Salida Stove and Spa between 4 and 5 pm on May 9, 2020, BM did not purchase anything, May 19, 2020 – Neppl’s were interviewed by LE, May 22, 2020 – Colton and Janelle Neppl interviewed, BM was there between 4 and 5:30 pm, called Janelle by name, asked Colton if he would come to Puma Path to repair the hot tub, BM presented with “normal demeanor”, BM had left voicemail for Colton on May 8, 2020 at 1:18 PM to inquire about getting hot tub fixed. Roundtrip mileage from Puma Path to Salida Stove and Spa 18 – 19 miles. Bottles of hottub cleaner in Ranger Rover half empty. September 25, 2020 – Mrs. Neppl interviewed again, she confirmed that BM was in store the evening of May 9, 2020, did not buy anything.

CO - CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #79 *ARREST*

If the spa chemical bottles in Suzanne's vehicle were half full, wonder why she was asking for a fresh supply? If Barry did not buy anything at the spa store, why were investigators noting they did not find a receipt for spa chemicals as if it was big deal?
.
According to police BM did not go to SS&S.

Telematics and the gas station camera next door would show them whether or not he did.

Also the owner of the store is a felllow contracror working with BM at the Salida river front property, very likely got him the job, good friends.

Interesting, thank you. As LS states, it doesn't make sense.

And I would think pretty tough to talk your way out of the difference from 0 - 2 events to over 200 on that particular evening.
He said he was sleeping.

I think as we talk about the Morphew girls, it's important to remind ourselves that the brain is not fully developed and functionally adult until age 25. And even then, many life factors contribute to non-rational thinking.

The fact that they are considered adults under the law is irrelevant to how they have experienced their parents and how they experience their father's arrest. They deserve nothing from us but our deep compassion and prayers for healing.

Thank for posting this refresher.

As alibis go, this has to sit among the worst. No wall, he tried to build an alibi. Sho 'nuff, crooked.

He and MG were going to do it together, leaving Salida at 5pm on 5/10.
The job couldn't be done on 5/10.
Two rooms. Two people.
Barry didn't add an alternate crew until 5/10. Hmmmm. How'd he know he wasn't going to be available?
So...
He decides to leave for Broomsfield just before 5 am, 2 hours after alotta activity and the left turn, turning his phone from airplane mode at a telling time and place (as if IMO his day and his trip started just then).
He had no brick ordered.
He brought none of the right equipment.
He left the needed Bobcat at home. (I wonder if that was a last minute decision because he either couldn't bear the thought of being separated from his beloved BC or if he thought it played better with the bike ride and all if he left his favorite digger at home or if he didn't want his trailer to slow up his dumpstering).
What we do have, if you eliminate the trash runs and the wet towels and the wardrobe changes, Barry doing eleven minutes of unnecessary work without permit on a Sunday... then he left. If that's all he needed to do, he could've gone home. Or he could've waited until 5pm to leave for Broomfield, as originally scheduled. Fatal error: IMO he constructed his crooked alibi around a 9 am bike ride. Not a 4 pm one. Not a 1 pm one.

He needed to be gone -- 3 hours away -- to fit the narrative he concocted! Utterly devoid of any predictable pattern of Suzanne's! Probably completely blanking on the virtual wedding!

Worst of all, for him and his defense, he has NO ALIBI for the first 12-18 hours after Suzanne's digital activity ceased.

Well, unless you count the running around and the loaded .22 and the chipmunks.

Worst. Alibi. Ever.

He left when he got the call that Suzanne is missing.

BBM: I have never heard of this before. The girls simply do not believe their father killed their mother. Same for grandmother.

Let's review quick.

What was missing

Suzanne
Her bike
Her baby blue helmet
Biking clothes
Her phone
Her phone cord
Her journal
Her brown towel

You know what you take on a bike ride? A bike. A helmet. A phone. Bike clothes. Gloves. Sunglasses. Water. The vehicle to drive you to the trailhead.

You know what you don't take on a bike ride? A charging cord. A journal. No water. And a phone that's not on.

Looks like How Not To Stage a Bike Ride. Or Stage It Well anyway.

He left when he got the call that Suzanne is missing.
Of course he did, as that was the point. He wanted to show up on scene after Suzanne's bike had been found; he was trying to create distance.

Or course he also lied about where he was when he got that phone call (multiple lies to CBI, the FBI, and he even lied to the Ritters).

A "life changing" phone call like that, and he claims he's at the job site when he's really in his hotel room.

Barry may lie, but video does not.

Like they wouldn't check...

It was a bloodhound that sat on the seat. I think there were 3 bloodhounds altogether.

Why would biking clothes be missing??? According to what I've read here, she was in a bathing suit when she went missing!

From last night's recap by LS, I also recall LS using the word "guardian" in describing the defense's argument against BM's Forgery of a public record, and Election mail ballot offense charges. If the defense used the term guardian, I believe they intentionally or not, added to the confusion.

To be clear, there is no such thing as a guardian signing for the voter in Colorado. In fact, the word guardian is completely absent from the only signature lines on the Colorado ballot. The ballot further makes it clear that Power of Attorney is not accepted-- making the message clear to BM who is experienced in acting as both SM's guardian and power of attorney.

Beneath the Self Affirmation on the ballot, the following signature lines are included as follows:

X__________________________
Voter's Signature Required -
Power of Attorney will not be accepted.

___________________________________
Witness's Legal Name -: If voter is unable to sign,
he or she must make a mark and witness must provide a full
legal name on the line above.

Please see the New9 video linked below for specific information about the charges including a sample ballot from Chaffee County.

Very informative. Thank you.

At his hotel room at the location they were doing the job.
Not true, this was a blatant lie. He claimed to be at the job site with workers present, and said he had to drive back to the hotel to drop off his tools.

I think Barry had to be gone when people started trying to contact Suzanne for Mother’s Day. He knew she would not be answering texts or calls or watching a zoom wedding so he had to place himself away from the scene before her day should have started. He could not have said he was sitting with her when her phone started buzzing. He may have thought he could cover for Saturday with the fake hike, steak, one plate, sex and sleep with phones off. He probably wasn’t counting on that last photo and conversation sent to JL.

Why would biking clothes be missing??? According to what I've read here, she was in a bathing suit when she went missing!
No way to know what time she "went missing" or what she was wearing. Police have the last image of herself she took with a phone (allegedly in a bathing suit) and what Barry said she was wearing when he last reported....but there is that large gap of time when investigators don't have any concrete information that would without doubt tell us "what she was wearing when she disappeared" of even just what time she disappeared. We also don't have any idea of investigators asked MM2...who was living at home if "she" noticed anything missing form her mom's wardrobe. It seems like something logical investigators would have asked...but this case....has investigation gaps that we aren't privvy to yet. If they knew a brown towel was missing...then I have to assume they were thorough about anything else being missing - we heard about the phone, charger and journal. I don't recall where the missing brown towel was documented, but it's mentioned by posters quite abit. And we know the bike and helmet were missing. It is not clear if the bathing suit in the closest matched the one she was sunning in that afternoon or if it can even be confirmed...it's not obvious in the last photo they released since it was pretty much just her face.

I still wonder if Suzanne took daily prescription medications. Did someone remember to count out Saturday night and Sunday morning's?

That's a very good question! I would find it difficult to believe that Suzanne wasn't taking some kind of Rx after chemo, even if she had gotten the all clear on the cancer. It's not like you get the all clear and your body is instantly 100% recovered from everything it's been through. She may have been taking an antibiotic or another Rx drug to boost her immune system, esp with Covid going strong at the time.
