I also find it interesting that Barry sent the text to Suzanne that he was done and headed home. Why give her a heads-up considering he was likely spying on her?

I think it was a throwaway comment at the time.
In what would be a great coincidence the Barry that arrived home a few hours later was the hot headed version.

I can totally see Barry texting to Suzanne that he was on his way home...only to pull up remote camera images on his cell phone to see how she would react to his coming home....would she scramble to put something away? run into the house to shower? I think he was watching her from his cell phone on the way home via those cameras..

So did LE have all the information on SD before his arrest or after? Sorry but I’m confused.

They had some information before, and some after.

A warrant was issued that allowed for the monitoring of her phone. This was prior to Barry's arrest.

A warrant was executed on her home about 3 weeks after Barry was arrested. None of that would obviously appear in the AA (as it was written before Barry's arrest).

If anyone other than Barry did it, we have to believe he is just a pathological liar because that is w who he is.. just likes to lie about everything all the time. Sorta contradicts the religious family man idea he puts out there. So all the things we know about Barry are still true, even if someone else harmed her. If we believe the nice innocent church going family man is a pathological liar then it's not a stretch to believe he killed her.

I don't think we can dismiss that as a suspected narcissist, this family's appearance is very important to BM as he views each as an extension of himself (i.e., happy home and marriage, wealth, success). It's likely the religion part is also mimicking behavior he learned as a child. He's simply copying what he experienced as important to a family image. MOO

Grusing doesn’t need to intimidate BM. It’s IE and DN he will be up against.

You’re right, IE & DN will be up against Grusing, but it’s going to be great to get reports on BM’s demeanor during trial while Grusing is testifying; squirming, no eye contact, dazed, flushed, etc.

It wasn’t until the day of his arrest that BM came to the harsh reality that his antics and lies did not ‘pull one over’ on Agent Grusing. Then at the PH, BM got to see first hand just how EXTREMELY professional, resourceful, respected, factual and vital Agent Grusing is in the real world. His word carries ALOT of weight because of his character, reputation and experience, not only in his field, but in dealing with criminals exactly like BM.

So the fact BM spent so many interview hours with Grusing thinking he had made a ‘friend,’ only to realize that was not the case, was likely a major blow to the man’s ego. Instead, BM realized very quickly that Agent Grusing is working diligently and has the power to help put him behind bars.

With all BM entrusted to Agent Grusing, to now be dissected in court, will not only be extremely awkward to BM but undoubtedly a huge source of intimidation and embarrassment to his manhood because when Agent Grusing is around, BM is no longer the alpha.

Yup you're right. I forgot how extensive the search warrant was. Boy, I'd love to know what was found, as much of it occurred several weeks after Barry's arrest, and obviously wouldn't be included in the AA.

Take note @MassGuys attachments show SD's phone traps and pen register , and social media warrants issued Feb 2021 -- prior to BM's arrest or AA. Other warrants followed his arrest.

Yes, he has showcased using and hiding behind his religion as a habit of his. He continued to do so after his arrest; in interviews with LS, at a dinner he attended where it was reported he asked if God is all forgiving (paraphrasing), during his LE interviews. And let’s not forget the holier than holy Christmas picture with him reading the bible in his family room (excuse me while I reinsert my rolled out eyeballs).

I remember a news story a few years back. Crime family in Italy decided to be rid of someone for some deed he had done. They fed him live to two pigs. I understood it was horrific.

Read up on the Iowa serial killer Michael Klunder, little bit of a drifter working at hog farms. Many believe his last victim(Kathlynn Shepard) met that demise in a very short time frame while the other girl was able to escape. Quite possibly more.

I need to edit, her body was found later but that was the thought. Gruesome

A while back, I actually did a search for some in the area and did not find any that fit the bill or the timeline window we are working from.

IMO, the only way this idea could be feasible is if BM knew private owners that owned pigs capable of devouring human remains (as already described) and he had direct access to them.

The search results I came up with all seemed to be commercial operations and seemingly not within the scope of catering to BM’s nefarious motives.

I was reading through many news article summaries from the PH just see what tidbits I could pull out.

The under sheriff was fishing at Foosies on Mother's Day and left about noon because it was crowded.

Anyone know if you turn down the road past where she would have crashed her bike to get to Foosies or is there another way in? If it was so crowded, then was that vehicle traffic on their road or cr225? Surely someone would see an abduction or bike wreck or a disoriented Suzanne after she "crashed"?

Agree with all you said. Grusing is so calm. He knows the case and nothing rattles him.
And seriously why should it? He has the facts on his side. He isn’t willing to let a killer go free because of his testimony. Just think of how he could stare down BM in that calm manner. I love it. We should all be able to watch it!

The day after! They were onto him immediately. I’m thinking his reputation for being a pathological liar was known to a few folks in Salida, just as it was in Indiana. And I betcha LE in Chafee Country got a few calls from some folks in Indiana within hours!

So Commander Alexander stated on record that they started writing the arrest warrant on May 11, 2020 but you say that’s not the case? Why? Doesn’t that make him untruthful?
