Hi Cindizzi, agree. I am assuming they have CS on the witness list?
Confirming CS on the list. By my count, CS is #337.

I looked at the list of players and didn’t find a name with CS as their initials. Who is CS?
Thanks in advance. :)

Yes he is, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be called to testify.
I guess we’ll see when the State whittles the list down from 500!

The fact that he’s known BM since childhood and came to Colorado to visit in 2018, flew in the day after SM went missing, and also was communicating with SM in February makes me think that he is a closer friend than some of their other friends in Indiana.
I’m not stating this very well lol.
What I mean is it sounds to me like BM and SM have both confided in him at separate times. I think he might know more about their marriage than most. JMO

Lol. I was just replying to @eyeseestars comment about a wood chipper. That would not be the first person to suggest that BM did away with SM’s body by using a wood chipper. I just wanted to point out that there is one readily available.

Yeah I mean there's zero evidence he used a wood chipper so I was definitely not saying that was indeed the case. I was only pointing out that in going through the Forensic Files episodes (since we know he was a fan) that particular episode made me uncomfortable and grossed me out because it was also a case where a husband killed his wife and I know BM would have access to that kind of equipment as a landscaper. Murderers are capable of really nightmarish things.

I just love how Barry's sister called him to say that Suzanne had been taken by a mountain Lion. He was pushing that nonsense hard early on, even though it was immediately clear that did not occur.

This guy knew better though, and quickly determined that Barry murdered Suzanne, even though part of him was reluctant to accept that.

She’s always there for little brother.

AA pg 51/129:

"...known Barry since Curt was eight or nine years old. ..."
I missed that somehow. And yet I remember the guy coming to visit in 2818. Thank you.

Not only did CS immediately travel to Salida when he received news that SM was missing, but he can also attest to learning the news directly from a BM family member who provided SM was riding her bike and a mountain lion got her.

AA pg 52/129.

I don’t remember hearing about CS until the AA came out.
You might be thinking of TS who also said he came out in 2018 to hunt.
He’s spoken to the Media a couple of times and remains a staunch supporter of BM.
IMO

The deceit Barry spins never stops!

Yes, I believe he's guilty too.
The prosecution must be able to link the evidence together showing Barry's guilt. They cannot expect jurors to fill in the blanks!
I wouldn't want that.
The state must be able to prove its case.
Though defense counsel excellent I believe with the evidence available that a competent prosecution can get guilty verdict.
I think so too. Defense will try to muck everything up with the unknown DNA and rake SM through the coals because of her affair. The prosecution must maintain control of the narrative in a clean and concise manner. For all the lies and story changes, they need visual aids. One chart for each instance of story editing emphasizing how BM’s story evolves in order to fit the evidence.
The AA really jumps around forcing us to reread and reread to try to put the case in some kind of systematic order. We have been at it for a couple of months, the jurors will only have a couple of weeks. All the evidence has to be plucked out of the air and put in a neat and tidy package that flows in such a manner that the jurors will see and understand the complete picture.
Let’s hope this prosecution is up to it.

Regarding Barry's burying...
I've been asking myself the same thing @jakat
He is so secretive and controlling.

Edit to add:

Maybe the mind of a "tracker" leaving no trace?
Only a man knows his own spirit and I think subconsciously Barry feels the need to conceal.
A hunter who hasn't concealed anything by lying to LE, except for Suzanne. Where are you Suzanne?

Hmm. Confused now. But I’m grateful Suzanne has some on her side who recognized right away Barry likely killed her. Wish I knew what they know.

So do you think he will be called at Trial?
He also was communicating with SM in February 2020.

All we need to know is that Barry copped to owning a weapon capable of firing a dart.

He left an inoperable one.

He kept his .22.

If he had a third weapon, IMO he did not dispose of it. He's too cheap, his guns are his soul (such that he has one).

So....where did he hide it? When did he retrieve it?

He was willing to dispatch his wife.

All of his guns?

No way.

JMO
Does someone like BM borrow a gun and would have to give it back in time (before LE come in the play)? Or does he rather like to OWN each gun? Who knows, how many shady friends he has, who would help him out with something.

If they're not, there are several WSer's who are up for the job. Together, or one by one they could take on the hurricane and send her out to sea. :D
