I think the spy camera was most likely in SM's closet where she retreated for privacy including nude selfies. I've long believed he took down the trail cams on Saturday prior to greeting SM and leaving again -- probably even taunted SM that he took them down, well knowing he had spy camera in place. IMO, BM broke down that bedroom door to confront SM about what he saw on the spy camera. BM was in a rage when he arrived PP. JMO

Speaking of SM’s closet, after LE showed BM the sunbathing photo they showed him a photo that SM had texted to JL on Saturday morning and asked BM “ is that her closet?” BM said “ yep “.
He probably knew that she took selfies and used her phone in her walk in closet. JMO

JL did some questionable indefensible things but I don’t think he’s lying here.
FBI first spoke to him by phone on November 4
They interviewed him in person on November 13
December 18 by phone they showed him the results of LinkedIn messages and photos.
This is when they asked about WhatsApp.
FBI knew plenty by then even that they had exchanged nude photos.
They were trying to pin down her last proof of life and last communication.

2:11 SM to JL ‘ I’m on wa”
2:39 JL responded to that message on LinkedIn
2:46 JL again responded to that message on LinkedIn
2:47 JL responded again to that message on LinkedIn by saying “ your weather looks nice”

I think JL was sitting there waiting for her to get on WA.

SM never responded to him again after 2:11

And at 2:26 BM texted SM “ Done headed back “
2:31 BM texted SM “ Did you leave?”

So, you see where I came to the conclusion that they did have video sex before Barry got home.

She'd been out in the sun and might have wanted a shower for w/a or to freshen up before changing into biking clothes.
One thing for sure, his phone has him at the master bedroom door for two long minutes then airplane mode.

I considered that Barry may have shot her from the river area since he had the scope but the hanging up of the bikini negates that possibility IMO. He could have loaded the tranq gun while at the river area in which case it would have indeed been in the truck with him hence his it might have been I don’t recall statement. If he had a camera mounted in the master bed, bath ot even the closet he might have viewed Suzanne’s actions and that was the act that enraged him causing him to exit the truck while leaving doors open and desperately moving around the property in an attempt to enter. I don’t doubt that Suzanne was locked safely behind closed doors and that is what led Barry to break through the door. IMO

What's seems apparant though is she did not want to open that bedroom door!

Why?

Concern that the cameras she suspected BM placing throughout the house revealed her activity with JL?

She was in the shower so unable?

Or she had a dreaded sense that his anger would play out in the worst way possible?

Another possibility is he did not break through door at that time and the frame was damaged during a previous event. I doubt it though. His phone went into airplane mode for a reason.

He is an excellent shooter but it seems manually injecting the tranquilizer dart would have given him optimum control.
On the other hand shooting the tranquilizer is more hands off.
His arm did have what appeared to be fingernail gouges so that indicates a possible headlock prior to manual injection.

JL lied...we already know he did from the PH. Barry will never tell the truth and neither will JL , for all we know he could have witnessed her death.

ETA: There was a reason he wanted to stay hidden, deleted all of his contact info and kept his fingers crossed...for her legacy? Really? Just the last proof of life picture, if that was the last, would tell him something went terribly wrong..and he stays silent?

I wonder if they weren't able to recover any of the whatsapp data? Different companies have different data retention policies and they didn't have either phone. Looking at this document, it looks like whatsapp doesn't store messages or log them on their own servers after they are delivered. So, since Suzanne's phone was never recovered and JL reset his, LE probably doesn't have a log of the WA communications. So they may well have continued the conversation on WA or used WA for a video call.

I don’t think anyone thinks it is a slam dunk for either side and that is what makes the case interesting. I don’t think I know any attorneys that “don’t care if they win or not” at trial defense or prosecuting attorneys. If they aren’t terribly invested in trial they are busy working out plea deals…both sides.

Not sure if this has been brought up before here as I try to follow along daily, but you all move so fast in Suzanne's case.

Is it/Would it be possible for prosecutors to offer plea bargain to BM in exchange for location of Suzanne's body ??

If so, has this been done ?? I do not recall reading it anywhere, but definitely could have missed it.

JL probably knows more than he's admitted but I don't think he witnessed her death due to follow up messages he sent including one on Mother's Day.
He could have witnessed arguing though...

She visited Barry in Colorado and secretly recorded him. Being the classy guy that he is, Barry proceeded to put the moves on her.

I don't know how I entirely missed that episode. I've heard bits and pieces but that's about it.
Can you spell it out for me, literally? Was she the one in the hot tub? Or, at the place they got take-out? Dayum, that's a missing missing piece of the puzzle for me but not sure of what it means, if anything.

I had the same thought and even more so tonight considering what little we know. If she felt threatened it may have been her go to if tranqued before seeking safety in the master even more likely. IMO perhaps she tried to load the gun or make sure a live round was in the chamber yet dropped it? Maybe he tranqued her upon entering the Master Bed/bath area? Idk…

because she wasn’t visisble at that second via the hidden camera and we know he had removed thr trail cams. He didn’t have eyes on her presently and couldn’t stand it. IMO
