I could swear I saw in a document that he had profiles on a couple of dating sites. Maybe I dreamed I was reading a document? Anything's possible as my dreams are very vivid, I fully admit that. I wish someone would chime in if they read it too.
Suzanne's text allude to an affair Barry had in IN. She used some sort of 'nick name' or abbreviation for the woman's name. Her sister also said how he'd had an affair and that was the reason for a 'fresh start' in CO. It's not just gossip.

This Denver 7 "The Denver Channel" story addresses prosecutors claims about BM using Ashley Madison (and similar searches) when looking for other women to date:

Harris, the other FBI agent who testified earlier Tuesday, said the phone and credit card records for the man Suzanne was having an affair with show he was in Michigan on the day she disappeared. Prosecutors argued Tuesday they believe that Barry Morphew was also looking for other women to date, saying he had deleted web history that included Ashley Madison searches and a search for “cute girls” in the Salida area.​

Friday night, Barry by the creek. Maybe he was hunting. For a deer. Maybe that's when he lucked upon an elk. Maybe he couldn't resist -- had to keep the rack.

Everything I'm reading says mature bulls shed their rack in March, younger ones in April. May 8th.... could there be a really young bull with his antlers still?

He had a rack up by the house. Not a natural shed because it had scalp attached.

Wish we could see it. Fresh scalp? How? What animal still had its antlers in May? Old? From March or April? That's not the impression I got.

If Suzanne's body was disposed of beneath a larger animal, even if LE discovered it, they'd maybe say, look, a deer, and move on. Even many years later. Unless they started counting leg bones.

Barry said he might pile his shot chipmunks for wildlife to eat. I think that's not unusual for him. Poaching for antlers. Shooting for hides. That means, to me, he either had a place to dump all his spoilt carcasses or he had a place where he set out the wildlife buffet -- and knew just how quickly the circle of life could disappear a doe.

I have tossed around in my mind several possibilities but nothing has any strong fiber. There are a number of outlier characters in this story. Most interesting to me are two of Barry’s workers and a couple of people that seemed to insert them into the situation. But I am one who early on said I think prosecution pulled the arrest trigger too soon and IMO now have to live with a case that has weaknesses and will no leave us with questions when all is said and done.

I too would like to know where the rest of the elk is and any video from the Cushman’s video cams during the dates in question. IMO

The other is a commercial billboard for Colorado real estate.

Peculiar building. Peculiar vehicle in the shed. Peculiar vehicles all around.

Vehicle in the shed appears to be a Sno-Cat with a narrow plow blade, which would be a reasonable thing for CCSO to have.

I also see what appears to be several snowmobiles (also reasonable things for CCSO to own), an ATV, plus a regular pickup truck.

Some other stuff I can't recognize, and something that looks like a pull-behind asphalt roller, which would more likely belong to the county transportation dept.

This could be a county yard for vehicles shared by multiple departments?

There are a couple smaller white signs on the post of the gate across the drive into the property, but it isn't possible on my maps app or on Google Earth to zoom in close enough to read either of them.

Are there any Websleuthers who reside in the area who might be driving by that area anytime soon...?

Using the confirmation bias that I already think it's probably a county yard, I believe (based only on the lengths of the words) that the upper sign says Authorized Vehicles Only. I can't see anything to give me hints about the lower sign but it might likely give the vehicle code for trespassing as similar paired signs often do.

Barry's nephew (TN) handled this whole thing as incompetently and bizarrely as anything I've ever seen.

He gave out very little information, refused to go on camera, made bizarre requests of the media, had that strangely worded crowd funding campaign (at the time called it an obvious scam), and appeared to use distancing language at one point. Then he dropped off the map, never to be heard from again.

I've thought all along that he must have had some reservations, but I think the encounter with Morgan (and George) was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Because that whole situation does sound like attempted witness tampering, and I imagine law enforcement called him on that and it scared him to death.

Then he went dark.

I hope to hear from him at trial.

So, from get go it seems TN had major, if not then quick, massive reservations...about his Uncle Barry.

I think then, ol Uncle Barry...the bulldozer, I mean bobcat, I mean murderer, psychologically (said some strong words and probably included 'smooth talking scripture and Suzanne' in the sentences) and verbally strong armed him, kinda like the alter ego of Popeye.

In my opinion, TN smelled a skunk (in the zoo). And went silent. And has probably been scared and freaked out ever since.

Barry has a big family, so I'm not sure if it was his mom or another sister.

I don't know about that. I know there's another housekeeper in the area - the one who thought she saw SM with BM at the singles dumpster (I still think she could've been mistaken, never having seen SM before, but that's beside the point) but I've been under the impression that Sho also worked as a housekeeper and was hired by the real estate office who handles some vacation properties, the Cushman's particularly.
I could be wrong, tho.

And sure, could be Barry had a key. Didn't know Suzanne called the Cushmans about Barry that time.

I thought that the cleaner that claimed to have spoken to BM and SM at the dumpster (and later interviewed by LS?) was not Cushman's housekeeper...thought SD was working for the Cushman's and that it was her daughter and daughter's fiance that BM referenced as possible suspects to LE.
