I think it would be at this point classified as rumor. An online profile has not been revealed in any documents so far. Or if someone called the tip line investigators couldn’t substantiate it or decided it wasn’t needed for the AA which is unlikely since they seemed to think his web searches were important enough for the AA along with the tales of his perceived lecherous nature. None of which IMO supports the murder charge or was necessary for the arrest warrant. And they looked for a mistress so for me Jim is in the rumor category.

It was TN's Mom (Barry's sister) who said that to Lauren in court. I remember it vividly, as I thought - the apple doesn't fall far from that family tree

According to the Amended Complaint filed against BM in May 2021, BM's full name is "Barry Lee Morphew."

I blame CCSO for this one. It sounded like they had a pretty good handle on the case and didn’t need anybody calling anything in. They very specifically asked that you don’t call them with questions, just hold all your footage. Um okay. Does everyone here know how to preserve footage? Everybody got a spare card or whatever is necessary to upload onto another device? I think that whoever wrote that release should be kicking themself today. The husband was supposedly cooperating, and wouldn’t the sheriff’s department have an eye on him if they considered him a suspect? I would think that they would have known he was at the Poncha Market, and they would have come calling to take a look at any footage. Heck I would have thought they were filming him themselves.

What else did he do while he was out wandering alone???

Okay, I can buy this the way you're putting it but there's one thing that has always stood out in my mind..
In an early interview or statement, Trevor referred to Suzanne as his Aunt and Barry as her husband. Never forgot it.
What's THAT about? I even asked here if I was mistaken as to who's relative he was? Maybe it's nothing, I don't know.

Yikes!!! 100 posts later, that will teach me to take a day off. To answer your first question ML. I can’t explain that group. What’s with the cousin’s recent post? “I myself grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where I lived with my mother, her husband, and their two children.

So, did he have a step father? This guy then goes on and on about idolizing Barry, and his dad idolizing Barry’s dad, begs the question how close are any of them? They didn’t even grow up in the same state, and I’m not sure this guy Jason even knows his own dad, (as a dad) .


But moving on…I do think Trevor was “drafted” as Barry wasn’t stepping up and the Morphew Matriarchy sensed a spokesman was desperately needed (rightfully so) I do think the G** page was Trevor’s idea, seems more his generation as was the video plea. The family realized someone needed to step up. Trevor lived in Colorado, natural choice.

I think Trevor realized pretty early on something was way off but his mom and grandmother couldn’t buy into it. Trevor didn’t only leave his uncle behind but his whole family, I don’t envy the position he was foisted into. My opinion!

Lastly the George/Trevor “shake down’. Not buying any of that was the intent. First off Barry had received 53K that very week for “employees’ regardless of how he pulled that off. I don’t think he would have a problem dividing it to cover his butt as to how it was obtained. 30 for me, BM owner, Sm bookkeeper, Probably both daus as workers and 23 for them. I think both CC and GM received a generous check, and that is what may have been explained, the timing was coincidental. This isn't a bribe...part of "business", don't ask questions.

It would be natural for the three of them discussing the situation, it was traumatic. In general discussion, I could see Morgan saying something like he was weird on Saturday, said he could easily hide a body…and a wince on their faces, keep that to yourself Morgan, Barry doesn’t’ need this. Or say in conversation GD slipped up, “ the bike looked planted” And Morgan jumping on that and GD regretting he opened his mouth……Don’t know what was said as we weren’t there!!! Don’t see GD or TN giving up their own life's integrity to lie for Barry, just my opinion.

How did he slip away from everybody 48 hours after SM disappeared without anyone asking, “Where’s Barry?” AM and several IN friends were in town, you had MM1 & MM2, GD, TN, the Ritters, etc, etc. No one noticed he was missing? What else did he do while he was out wandering alone???

I thought that the cleaner that claimed to have spoken to BM and SM at the dumpster (and later interviewed by LS?) was not Cushman's housekeeper...thought SD was working for the Cushman's and that it was her daughter and daughter's fiance that BM referenced as possible suspects to LE. I think the woman that reporter LS interviewed might have been more of a property management employee instead of a regular housekeeper, although LS did refer to her as a housekeeper.
The woman said she was in the area cleaning out rental homes because of Covid , she was throwing out food, etc.
I’m guessing because of cancellations due to Colorado having stay at home orders. JMO
The woman said she was at the community dumpster , she mentioned that the dumpster was paid for by several residents and she told LS which houses were empty.
I don’t think she would know that if she was just a housekeeper for one resident.
She said BM saw her putting things in the dumpster and asked her who she was and she explained what she was doing there.
On a recent YouTube video of LS someone asked if this woman was SD and LS said no, she was Jamaican.
I think when LS talked to her, LS was trying to pin down when was the last time anyone saw SM in the flesh.
The woman said this was Wednesday May 6th.
I don’t think that it was SD she saw with BM.
But I agree with those thinking it would be odd for SM and BM to be taking a leisurely stroll that evening after SM sent the “ I’m done” text that morning, although I can think of several reasons it would be entirely plausible.

If it's not in the AA or PH, I don't have it memorized and even less so when it comes to SD.

The daughter and boyfriend of the cleaning lady that Barry accused wasn't SD's offspring, afaik. Which is what I was responding to originally.

You are correct. I have it in my head that only one sister is still outwardly supportive. I think we've only seen the one in court with Barry's mom being the other regular supporter.

BM mentioned a couple of times that he had hiked to Fooses with SM one day that week and they had sat on the wall by the lake. First he tried to say it was Saturday then said he wasn’t sure which day it was. Since the dumpster was almost across from the Morphews’ driveway perhaps the hike was May 6, the night the woman spoke to them.
I shudder to think that perhaps BM planned to have SM “accidentally” fall that evening during their hike after receiving the “I’m done.” text. Perhaps he had second thoughts after bumping into the witness?

Oh, I saw this earlier. I was trying to catalog the LS reporting to source interviews into the timeline and saw it.

“The last report I got from people is that [Barry] is having a difficult time sitting still, and pacing back and forth, constantly looking out the window, hoping he can see her” Bertram said. “He’s going out, driving up the road, and trying to remember any suspicious vehicles that he’s seen.”

He said Barry hasn’t gone on a call for the fire department since his wife disappeared.​

True, but I wouldn’t think that good friends or close relatives would leave the husband of the missing wife alone during such an emotional time. Also, since it was only Tuesday, in that timeframe I would call it “slipping away”.
ETA I also refer back to the dates of 5/8 - 5/12 the period that LE asked residents to check for anything unusual on security videos. Something made them zero in on those particular dates.
