I have not been able to keep up on this thread so it's quite likely I've missed some important info.

I'm at a loss as to MG and Barry talking about shady business things. Can you elaborate? TIA
I think that was someone's speculation about whatever Barry and MG might have talked about in the past coupled with speculation about how Barry conducted business. MG can testify first hand if she's called.

One thing, MG says he was on the phone daily with his commodities broker. In a conversation between Barry and Suzanne Suzanne was worried that he was up to secret things with her/their money and she wondered if she was going to get it back.

I cringe to think he was getting thrills by day trading with her inheritances. Knowing what we know about him, I highly doubt he was making a mint trading commodities by phone from construction sites. FYI commodities trading is buying and selling silver and other resources as prices fluctuate, similar to stocks but more risky and “wild west”. I am familiar with the risks involved and he very easily could lose tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands.

that’s all legal though terrible if he was daytrading/gambling with her inheritances. But There’s also evidence he was fraudulent/shady in his business dealings some of which may be very illegal

So there’s legal things he may have been hiding from Suzanne such as commodities day trading and putting money into risky ventures. Then there’s potentially illegal things with the way he ran his landscaping businesses and other side activities we don’t know about. MG may have been familiar with any or all of those things.

I realize the times don’t exactly line up, but I also don’t believe in coincidences. Is it a coincidence that SM’s phone last pinged about 11.5 miles west of a cell tower in Poncha Springs and BM made his infamous uturn at Garfield on Highway 50 11.3 miles west of that same cell tower?
Great point for me, as I also don’t believe in coincidences.

Factual info from SD's Arrest Affidavit.
"During the investigation of Suzanne Morphew, investigators learned Shoshona Darke was employed by Pinion Real Estate Group since 2018 as a housekeeper and cleaned the Cushman's homes frequently."
https://www.fox21news.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/37/2021/09/21M351-Darke-Redacted-Affidavit.pdf
So he DID know her upon moving there. I’m speculating that she cleaned the Morphews new residence before and maybe after they moved in. In any event, if she knew the Cushman’s, she knew Barry. And Shoshona might be the very reason the Cushmans support Barry to this day.

I doubt it but I'm sure she gave LE her iphone or whatever, not ppd phone.
I can also see BM asking MG if he could borrow her phone for a minute under the guise of a low battery or he left it in the truck so he could make calls he didn’t want SM to see. This might be a reason he didn’t want MG to turn over her phone to LE.

We know he was at Poncha Market on Tuesday. How far is that from where BM was staying? Would he have walked? It's roughly 9 miles fromo Poncha Market to Puma Path. I'm still confused as to where BM was staying at this time. Cushmans?
AM was staying at Cushman’s. BM stayed at the Ritters the first few days after SM disappeared.

I’m sure my texts might look pretty ugly if my phone were confiscated. Barry seemed to think that he could edit his life before presenting it to LE. I guess he didn’t learn from listening to true crime. JL didn’t either. LE has to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff and get to what matters to the investigation. I believe that in Barry’s case, he knew eyes might be on him once the data was reviewed. That made him mad.

Got it. I doubt BM would be walking the 9 miles to Poncha Springs, so conclude that BM was driving/being driven around to do things, including the Poncha Market trash can incident.

The beautiful thing here in this case is that Babbling BARE gave the State all of the evidence they need to prove he is guilty of Suzanne's murder beyond a reasonable doubt. Nothing else fits and 12 jurors will be able to see it as well.

When all is said and done, his demise will be at his own expense, 'and if one person is saved from that, well, it was worth it'. :p "Oh Barry"

MOO

The market trash dive still bugs me. Was he retrieving something or discarding something? It also bugs me that, if true, there was video of BM at the market and LE failed to retrieve it before it was over written.
I am wondering if the last ping from Suzanne's phone coincided with the market location? If so...my guess is that Barry was retrieving the phone as an afterthought...concerned about its discovery...in order to disappear it again more safely.

I honestly think BM being at that market was him just being busy. He could have easily chucked SM's cell phone (as an example) deep into the woods while he was out searching for her or whenever. That seems more logical to me than hiding or retrieving any evidence from the trash. I also think it's possible the various trash dumps LE found on surveillance might have been BM wanting to be seen at these various locations, but not tossing evidence. It's hard to say because I don't think anything was actually recovered. IMO

Well yes, but when I need to keep busy I don't go dumpster-diving. It seems very strange to me, in fact very suspicious.

Isn't there a motions hearing today?

There money was so comingled by the time they moved to Colorado that there wasn't really his money and her money....but if they disagreed about how to invest, save and spend that is a marital issue and probably became at least one of their arguments. That said, LE did uncover accounts that were in Suzanne's name only and the commodities account was in Barry's name. My guess all their other accounts were joint and/or business accounts for Barry's business...which Suzanne mentioned in one of the texts to Barry that she would continue to help with the books. If they found other accounts that were Barry only it was not mentioned in the AA or any other documentation - only Suzanne's account(s) she had on her own. The assumption that Barry was engaged in "illegal business" is highly speculative at this point and we are not privy to any information that would say that was true. Suzanne's sister relayed that they started the foundation back when they lived in Indiana and had returned from a mission/vacation trip. Perhaps Suzanne originally intended to put inheritance dollars in it back in the day. But for the most part it was inactive according to federal filings. The only activity was changing the address from the Indiana home to the PP home.

No the last ping was not near the tower....it was 11 miles away - most likely at their home.

Hearing from MM should be interesting as well as a former prosecutor. Otherwise I expect it to follow the story line utilizing the known facts. I know what I'm doing for an hour on Friday.

JMO, but I should think that she will certainly be called. I for one am hoping that she can shed some light on several things.

You know one of the saddest things about this case? The daughters' own future Mothers Days will be forever spoiled.
