Has anyone heard it mentioned at recent hearings, off duty Officer reports he saw Suzanne's Rover on Sunday, May 10! But his senior made him correct the statement, Why? It didn't fit the agenda. Is Procecution hiding more? Are LE wearing blinders?
This was shot down on further questioning. The Range Rover in question was completely different. Something about a roof rack if I recall.

No one is hiding anything, but the defense is sure trying to mislead people. Fortunately it all seems to fall apart with the full context.

Just gotta listen to the whole thing, and not simply hear what you want to hear.

Reporter LS discussed this “ sighting “ on one of her recaps. I’m not sure which hearing it came up in.
The Range Rover thought to be SM’s had black accents on it ( I don’t remember where on the vehicle, maybe the top was black).
SM’s RR is solid white.
So apparently this tip was investigated and ruled out.

Finally the right answer. MOO
That was the wrong answer.

Here's the right answer below.

There is one FCC-registered cellular tower in Poncha Springs. It is at 11170 W Highway 50. It is approximately 12 miles from that tower to Garfield, where BM claimed to have turned his vehicle around after heading west early Mother's Day morning before he turned around and headed toward Broomfield.

From the AA, page 5:
Sergeant Mullenax asked dispatch to ping the number given for Suzanne’s cell phone. Dispatch informed Mullenax that the cell phone appeared to be off and last known activity was at 4:23AM on the present date, with a general location about 11.5 miles west of a cell tower in Poncha Springs, CO.

ETA: The distance from that cell tower to the Puma Path home was 9.6 miles driving, or about 8.5 miles as the crow files (or cell signal travels). So, the phone was not likely at the home.

On Google Earth, it is possible to set up a "measuring stick" with a distance 12 miles from that cell tower to get a sense of the area in which that phone had its last ping. It's basically all along that ridge after Hwy 50 turns slightly SW toward Monarch Pass. It would be very difficult to search in that steep area.

According to IE, that was MM2.
Nice try IE. It’s so completely ridiculous to say that MM2, who had a boyfriend at the time, was looking for women/girls.I really hope they try to float this theory at trial. It’ll fall flatter than flat.

Feels weird that no one even tweeted about today’s proceeding.

You know one of the saddest things about this case? The daughters' own future Mothers Days will be forever spoiled.
All of us following this horror have been indelibly marked as well, although not to the degree the girls will have to endure.

If it's true then that is devastating for many reasons regardless if you think Barry is guilty or not. Honestly if it's true I think the judge would dismiss the case and send it back to investigators and the DA.

I have not been able to keep up on this thread so it's quite likely I've missed some important info.

I'm at a loss as to MG and Barry talking about shady business things. Can you elaborate? TIA
Another member already answered your question, and I want to add only, that I thought of talk/instructions back and forth re business practices, which noone should know about. Inferior material, undeclared work, bungle, etc. - something like that in relation to landscaping.

RSBM

If the prosecution can get Barry in the stand, and needle him until he gets angry, we might just get some truth out of him.
I’d love to see it but I think his attorneys would quit before they’d go along with him testifying.

He said the trial date is April 29th? Isn't that Suzanne's birthday?

ETA: Somehow I thought it was the day before my daughter's which is the 30th but no, it's the same day. The level of pain and heartache this monster has caused for this family, AND forever ruined both Mother's Day and Suzanne's own birthday. Ugh. :(

Yep. Suzanne's birthday is May 30, 1971. My birthday is April 29, 1971. I am one day older than she was. :(

On the other hand, I know what I'm doing on my birthday this year! Hoping that day will be the beginning of justice for Suzanne Morphew.

Heard it mentioned? What does that mean? Did this off-duty officer testify? Where are you getting this information from?
I guess telematics will provide info on whether or not Suzanne’s RR was out and about on May 10. I can’t believe there is only one white RR in the county. Two right at PP.

Scroll up. It's been addressed. It's NOT true.

Exactly. If there was any proof of this event, the defense would have argued that and very well could have had the case chucked, as it falls apart if there is proof of life at any point after Barry left the house that morning.

If you're making insane arguments the defense isn't even making, you're doing it wrong.

Sure is. Fox 21 tweeted and said they were in Salida an hour ago, but were promoting a business. Hopefully someone on that team is at the courthouse. There several motions pending so would be nice to know what happened.
Fox 21 is in Salida all week filming a series called We Are Salida.
They sent their weatherman and one of their early morning anchors.

The hearings for BM are held in Canon City, an hour away.

Lol. It was at least an hour after reading your post that I remembered about the change of venue.

I wonder whether IE is actually heading towards suggesting Suzanne made the searches in an effort to make BM look bad once she had ‘disappeared herself’.
