BML Better to say federal lands.

Just a note.
Nixon moved the US off the gold to be backed instead in large part by federal real estate.
Citizens own it.
Did not know that, thanks.

"It's very hurtful to lose your reputation and your integrity," Barry said.
Omg. Somewhat more "hurtful" than losing your wife.

Does BM refer to Federally Owned land, or Barry Morphew. She must have meant federally owned land.
There is a plot of land that is alongside Hwy 17 in that area that has BLM listed as the owner. I would be more inclined to think the land is the Bureau of Land Management property.

The county has a nice property search page : Saguache county assesor search

There is also a searchable parcel map available : Saguache parcel map

Would it be possible that LE searched the area because they were tracking Barry? Barry may have repeatedly gone back to visit ..

I kind of pity this woman. She comes off as emotionally invested in Barry as we know she is a champion for men who abuse women.

Just imagine how much time and effort she already put into the 15 million dollar lawsuit. And now that Suzanne's body was located, it's likely to put the kibosh on all of her hard work.

Let's see if she comes out with a statement #3.
I don't pity IE at all. She has been well compensated for her work on the original case, and I'd bet Ole' BM would have had to put some money on the Civil Suit as well.

EI comes across to me as a cold blooded shark, powerful and always on the hunt. The fact that she also got KK a slap on the wrist deal in the Kelsey Berreth case still makes me sick to this day. I loathe the woman and all the underhanded tricks she's done, but if you are a murderer, I guess she's your go to gal.

Lightbulb....would the burial of a murder victim on BLM tract bring the feds in?

Pardon me if this has been discussed, just getting caught up.

Hopefully he will be tried and convicted of Suzanne's murder so he won't be able to visit her grave. I do hope the girls allow Suzanne to be buried near her family in IN.

That is where the people who truly love and miss her are located including her parents, although didn't the father pass away too? IDK

MOO
Yes. Agree.
But they are pretty committed to their fathers defense.

Correct. She cleaned for the Cushing’s - their neighbors across the creek in Monarch Estates. She did not clean the Morphew house that we know of. Remember Barry claimed to have met her at the dumpster after the murder. The other cleaning lady in the subdivision -was Bridget. Barry and Suzanne met her also at the dumpster while on a walk shortly before the killing. The association dumpster was located at the bottom of the Morphews driveway on Puma Path. Some of the houses in this subdivision including the Cushings, were rented out as Airbnb’s. JMO
Exactly, good memory!

I truly don't think so.
He moved on waaay too fast to nurse any degree of sentimentality or any other sentience either.
i think they were genuinely searching for the other lady..

Video is not available in my country. Could you please post the title of the video so I can do a youtube search? Thank you.

Was that a Gray Hughes link? Apparently not available in other countries.
I can't see it either ugh

I just rewatched the 26 second video. 26 seconds of heading shaking no. "Suzanne, we miss you. Whatever they want, how ever much, whatever it takes, I just want you back."

Yeah, he just wanted old Suzanne back. The one he could control. How many times was old Suzanne told she was being hurtful? Selfish for not meeting his every impossible need.

Barry's admissions all but prove he had a gun capable of firing darts in and around the time of Suzanne's death. We have every reason to believe Suzanne was working through her own to-do list, laundering bedding on that ill-fated Saturday. Barry admits to darting exactly two deer, from the breezeway. Attached to the very mudroom where Suzanne may have been standing... those details, from his own mouth, will be his undoing.

Is it too much to hope Suzanne's hands are in tact and Barry's skin is located under her fingernails? He was scratched deep enough to break his skin.
<snipped> There's hope.....
  • The time it takes for fingernails to fully break down depends on the environment they’re in, as well as the burial method and bacteria involved. Like bones, fingernails take considerably longer to decompose than soft tissues. In some studies, fingernails have taken about 40 years to break down.
Are Fingernails Biodegradable?.

He'd be a real dummy to leave the port, but you know what? He was likely confused and a bit out of his mind at that point in time.

Tooth pulp is great for IDing a body - not so great for finding compounds/toxins that might have been in the body at the time of death.

Would also note that, while it isn't hugely difficult to remove a port (some of my patients have managed it, more than once) to do so would be an intimate and destructive act, that someone like BM who seems to have largely pushed aside SM's diagnoses and treatment, might have wanted to avoid. I suspect the port disturbed him, as a literal locus point for the disease and the origin point of her freedom from him -- her "choices" to investigate therapeutic cannabis, etc., might have all been associated with it.

This is someone who who could dress a deer in 15 seconds, blah blah blah, but who was IMO irritated and likely disgusted with SM's illness and the weakness associated with it.

JMO, of course.

BLM = Bureau of Land Management, Dept of U.S. Interior.

It could probably be checked online if the land indeed is BLM, idk.

If she was found on BLM property, it makes the choice of location a little less random. A lot of BLM land out west is fairly devoid of visitors, with the exception of leasing to ranchers (or the odd visit by an archeologist/paleontologist/etc). Much less chance of someone coming across remains there than private property. You can buy chips to put in handheld GPS devices which show property lines in a specific state so you know exactly where you are. I've used it for for work but know it's popular with hunters as well...just saying.

The sheriff is involved so I’d guess private land.
better if it's federal... cos fed lands get fed investigations...
We should clarify?
