Oh Barry..

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you…

I would like the 8 reindeer off sleigh duty.
BM needs his antlers trimmed.

Could BM have used SUZANNE’s car to transport her body for burial? I don’t recall the year of her car or if it did or did not have GPS info that could be recovered.

The spa store story bothers me, too. If he actually went there, then maybe he did pick up spa chemicals and used them in the burial of SUZANNE?

Would explain empty spa chemical bottles in her car after she asked him to get the replacements.

(Something seems off with the spa store story, I just don’t know what.)

I’m so glad SUZANNE has been found. Hallelujah. I wish the Moorman family had control of what happens with her remains.

And I wait, somewhat patiently, for BM to arrested and convicted of her murder.
Not Suzanne's Range Rover it was a modern vehicle, but the daughter's Range Rover which was a pre gps vehicle and parked at the PP lhouse.

Wouldn't it be nice of some Poncha Springs person just saved their street footage video in a few from 5/8 to 5/11 and it showed vehicles going south toward Moffat.

That’s right. Thank you, Boxer.

Do you think, of all the stuff we don’t know about the investigation, that LE would have examined every vehicle at the Morphew home?

BM had access to quite a few vehicles the day/night SUZANNE was murdered, including his friends/neighbors who had the vacation home close by the Morphew house (where he was living when SD had her little trespassing escapade).

Maybe other vehicles, too, but BM is lazy, so it had to be something easy to get to.

Yes, wouldn’t that be something if video footage of traffic back then through Poncha Springs did exist? A miracle gift.

Bravo STG, I couldn't agree with you more. :)

You just reminded me that in early days there was a report of SMs RR going through Salida picked up by Loaf n Jug camera. They retracted.
But I think it probable SMs old RR was still registered to her so maybe it was that RR out and about, going to Salida then Moffat.

Was the phone gaining location data continuously when he departed from PP?
How can there be 14 mile discrepancy if they have phone location records.

The phone location is only intermittent according to Grusing

It's not really just a missing 14 miles but an entire missing hour. In the prelim, the defence tried to suggest to Grusing that BM had said he set his alarm for 4.30am and thus it made sense for him to turn up on the way to Broomfield after 5

However the prosecution say the data shows that he was messing about with the truck in the driveway in the 3am hour, and then his phone shows he is away from home between 3.58 and 4.31 and came back.

And there is no Truck telematics at all between 3.49 (driveway) and 8.10 am (RTD bus stop)

So I think one explanation is the journey actually started at 3.49am, but he did drive back, and maybe because he never turned the truck off, or other reasons, we simply don't get any log until 8.10am

But however you look at it the whole time between 3.49 and after 5 when he is definitively clocked on the road to broomfield is missing.

What the defence realised is that he could have brazened it out and just pretended it was all just screwy GPS in the mountains - it's not really a good explanation, but maybe enough for a jury

Not holding my breath for and video footage after 3 years. I think there are three possibilities that could lead to a new trial in the future: evidence from the body or the location of the body, evidence that we weren't already exposed to and didn't surface in motions or the civil lawsuit or thirdly, an accomplice that comes forth. If none of those exists I think it will be quite a long while before they attempt to prosecute BM again. You just never know and we could all be surprised.

I recall this was retracted because the RR surveilled was a distinctly different model with black bumpers. Doesn't mean the RR could not have been used -- only that they don't have it on camera.

It's been 3 months since Suzanne Morphew's body was found. Do they know a cause of death?

Don’t you believe LE knows exactly the cause but that they’re holding their cards close until the murderer is charged?

Consensus?...Consensus?
Anyone?...Anyone?
This, as to the Barr being (1) Lazy, (2) Piggy, (3) An Cunning Plan-itizer, and (4) a 'Red Herring'-monger ? ?

Empty spa chem bottles on SM Rover floorboards:
-- Suzanne did save the empties - I would guess neatly in the garage - as a memory aid to avoid the wrath of the BM were she to have to make their replacement/purchase by her lonesome. But chucked pigily on the floorboard in front of her passenger's seat? Not SM motif. Has The Barr written all over it. (Check all four, supra.)

"Get spa stuff !!"
-- Rr-iii-ght... Suzanne, as we recall, was an overbearing shrew, brimming-over with imperatives for her manly- mainly-morphew. NOT! IMO, he un-craftily sent this directive to himself appearing to do so with Suzanne as originator. Perhaps poor-thinking to tie-in the empties as suggestive of his wife's hasty/chaotic disappearance and create yet another illusory RH: eg. 'Don't look over there. Just follow this lead over here!'. Pitifully consistent. Tick-off (3) & (4) above.

The cellphone barrage:
--
"Nah. I'm coming home..."

no answer/
no answer/
no answer/
"Suzanne! I love You!
no answer/
"Suzanne! Have you left yet?"
no answer/
"Suzanne!
----------------------------------------

Now what happens if one puzzles-out this BM/SM/BM/SM/BM/BM/BM email cascade,
... which erupts at the worksite, (as noted by his co-working Morgan Gentile),and continues after he up-and-leaves, (to MG's later-professed surprise),...

...if one surmises that it was all generated by Barry himself?
...while quite higildy-pigildy, racing about, guilty-mind-in-a-mess...
"Should'a waited as planned; acted 'way too soon.
I know I can save this tho'! What with my well-springing cunningness vs their meagre rube-with-all!
So no contest! Perspiring not!"
Anyone?
Anyone?

Alas, all above
opinion, hypothesis & gratuitous
sarcasm.

AM's direct quote from Denver's News 7: Sept 2020

"My sister was murdered," Moorman said. "And she was hidden within a three-and-a-half-hour window. So that — I can draw a circle on that and tell you she's within that circle. And that's what I know happened."

GOBliaison, I must agree that in the picture of Suzanne’s Rover below, both the spa bottles/packet on the floor (if that’s what they all are) and her camel back, snacks, shades, and purse(?) on the seat seem as though they were tossed rather than placed (or as you suggest, were chucked pigily). One wonders if they were pulled out of a pack or bag in which she kept her biking stuff.

Don’t know if there is any connection, but the LE log of Mr. Morphew’s first interview on May 13 notes (Arrest Affidavit p. 19): “Barry stated that some time on Saturday, Suzanne asked him to take her mountain bike and helmet out of her vehicle, which he did.” One might logically wonder why he would be needed to remove her helmet from the vehicle (other than to account for why it wasn’t in there with her other biking accouterments).

Also, as you note, this seems to bear the hallmark of Mr. Morphew’s organizational style, as reflected in the photos below of his truck and gun safe.

I’m no clean freak myself, but good Lord, for a man who apparently had a better relationship with his guns than his wife, that safe is a desecration.

One additional observation: having a modicum of experience with hot tub chemicals, it has been my custom and practice to place the empty containers in the trash or recycling bin (not on the floor of my recently deceased wife's car).

^^rsbm

I must admit that I first thought the empty bottles were intentionally placed on the vehicle floor so they could be tossed into the community dumpster the next time the RR left the house/driveway.

I really do appreciate everybody's posts, especially those about all the telematics. I really do. But just let me insert a quiet moan/scream here - I struggle a bit with all that "stuff", and often think longingly of the long ago times of Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes, Dorothy Sayers, etc, etc. I do hope I'm not the only one?

Being married to a man who is a wonderful, caring husband and a hunter in his youth who killed for food, I can tell you that:
1) he would never have left his rifles or shotguns in a place as messy and awful as BM did. He cleaned them after each hunt and they were well put away. His shop today, even though he’s older has some semblance of neatness.
2) Suzanne didn’t leave her purse in her car. Every woman I know values her purse or the contents. I’m guessing her purse was somewhere in that house and BM threw it in her car for a purpose. Not sure why.
3) as for chemicals for a pool or spa, I can’t imagine them not being in a bag in the trunk of her car, instead of being strewn on the front floorboard.
Maybe I just haven’t put this together really well. Not sure if any of it has anything to do with the planning or execution of a murder.

My mind stays focused on the many lies he told Grusing and his actions on Mothers Day, his video and, of course, his lover. I believe his lover and MG have truths to tell.

What's That Item in BM's Gun Safe?

snipped for focus @Hilt Thanks for your post, esp'ly pic #3, which I just looked at more carefully.

On gun safe's top shelf, toward right, is a black & orange item, maybe designed to be hand-held, brings to mind--- TV remote control, video game controller, pocket weather meter,* walkie talkie,** pocket GPS/nav guide,*** you-name-it, something electronic, but IDK what.

Did a homicidal perp use the pictured item in a series of convoluted coverup steps? Or before? Did LE seize it? Or is it entirely irrelevant?

Where are our sleuthers skilled in doing REVERSED-PHOTO searches? Pls, anyone?

(And @Hilt. Yep, in nominations for the Good
Housekeeping Seal of Approval, BM was the very last. ;) )

@al66pine I believe that item you're referring to is a handheld GPS. Let me see if I can find an online image to match.

Ooh, correction, it appears to be a Garmin Satellite Emergency Alert Device.

Note: both link and image are from an eBay listing, just to show the name/image of a device, not actually related to Suzanne's case.
