All I noticed in that photo was a big BM.

As to the photo of BM posted above all I can say is, where oh where is the barf emoji when you need it. UGHHH. I digress.

As we wait with bated breath for his arrest, I’m reminded of Colorado’s Amendment I (no bail for first degree murder suspects) set to be enacted in 2025. IMO, more than likely the state is working on fine tuning/sealing up their case (see bolded and underlined excerpt below) while waiting for this to take effect next year to ensure ‘ole BM does not get bail after they slap the cuffs on him (again!).
IMO it is inevitable he’s going to be rearrested/recharged, just a matter of when at this point.
So yeah, enjoy the outdoors and your last days of freedom BM and keep looking over your shoulder,
just a matter of time….
Tick Tock BM, Tick Tock…

Snipped from article at 1st link below:

Colorado’s 2024 ballot questions: What passed and what failed

✔️ Passed — Amendment I:

This constitutional amendment makes first-degree murder suspects ineligible for bail, as long as prosecutors can show they have a strong enough case.

**Snipped from article at 2nd link below for more context:

“Colorado voters approved a constitutional amendment Tuesday that allows judges to deny bail to people charged with first-degree murder.”

Amendment I, which was referred to the ballot by lawmakers last year, had 69% of the vote at 8:43 p.m. when The Associated Press called the race. It needed 55% of the vote to pass.”

“The amendment returns judges’ ability to deny bail to people who are charged with first-degree murder when there is enough evidence before trial to presume that the person will eventually be convicted.”

“The ballot measure was an effort to reverse an unintended consequence of a law passed in 2020 abolishing Colorado’s death penalty.”

What's with the Barr's hands-always-in-his pockets thing ?
Anyone?
Anyone?

Aside: I clearly recall, when I was a little guy, my mother telling me: "Stop doing that!...or do you really have to tinkle??
And then, years later from a different source, hearing that it had to do with some sort of masculine insecurity thingee...
Nahh...surely & totally inapposite here.
;)

Looks like he’s aged and lost weight. Guess stress is getting to him.

Not sure if this helps or not GOB……. but that photo, IMO almost looks like the hat is photo-shopped in? What is that often used quip? Maybe all hat and no cattle? IDK? ;)

Classic body builder pose while trying to look casual. Rugged backdrop, tight jeans, flexed muscles.

Doesn't change what he did.

@I am not Sherlock H. Good point.
As yesterday's POST 580 said:
"Is pic (relatively) current, or is Big Hat-No Cattle BM photoshopped in?
So 'great minds' & all that??? LOL.

Brought to mind the pix in Curious George books --- the man in yellow suit wearing oversized hat, both brim & crown comically large.

Help? As in a bolt of lightning?

I like to check in on Barry from time to time. It's going to be so sad when all that wide open space is traded for a tiny prison cell.

Looks like he's had some more plastic surgery (face lift?) and those chompers are just too much. Maybe if he did have plastic surgery it was to help him blend in if tried to disappear himself.

If he dyed his hair dark, not his usual light brown with blonde tips, he would definitely be less recognizable to me...until he opened his mouth.

.... but you don't think of men on bridges in IN? ;)

In addition: hat and sunglasses too black for looking non-fake. Biceps has shrunk.

He may have had plastic surgery, but I think if he did, vanity is driving that bus.

He’s not trying to disappear. I saw him recently in a parking lot in Carefree, AZ. Got into a pickup with Indiana plates, and the bed of the pickup looked ala BM. (In other words, a random mess.)

Not news to @windrower as we've talked, but...

He's also frequently seen in the biker bars in town in Carefree/Cave Creek still.

And he's a very frequent topic of conversation around here.

As for topics of conversation, are the people there also waiting for an arrest soon?

He's pretty much the last guy I'd expect to see in a biker bar. So, that's kind of wild.
Is he even trying to blend in or does he stand out like a sore thumb?

Some wondering/waiting on that some wondering why he's here, some wondering how many women don't know who he is still (and if they are falling for him or just messing with him), many wondering why one particular well known local seems to have befriended him to the degree he has.

Kind of an assortment of things!

He doesn't really stand out.

It's definitely not all bikers at them (there are about half a dozen collectively called that) they're just referred to that way.

Certain times of year (late Oct-April) they are much more heavily biker populated though.

But some celebs and like d-list social media influencers are known to visit and post openly about them (country music singer Miranda Lambert is one who was posting not all that long ago)

A church meets outside at one of them - Ecclesia: Church at the Chip

Barry's politics (or what he conveys them to be if you see him) line up pretty well with the area and he blends in in that sense also.

I wrote some about them a few months ago with links to pictures at some to help convey our area better.

Here's one post

The one thing that I feel like has changed a lot since then is that Barry is either far more out in the open and he's trying to be far less anonymous than he was earlier this year OR people are just much more onto him now.

For one example...

My spouse recently mentioned the part of town we live in to someone they (my spouse) interacts with regularly but doesn't know all that well. This person also lives in the Phoenix area, but nowhere near us.

That person immediately asked if my spouse had run into the guy Barry who killed his wife and is at the bars in town all the time.

My spouse was flabbergasted!

This person isn't even someone on a true crime board or anything (I had my spouse ask, fully thinking the person might be a WSer or discussing the case elsewhere)

Early this year people in town knew he was here and around, but I think beyond that, people in the Valley or beyond really only knew if they follow the case / true crime forums.

It's really changed.

It's a pretty small town feel up here and I think word has just really gotten out or he's gotten less careful or a combo of both.

And I know people are now openly and regularly talking about - and when possible, pointing out - Barry (he also has used another name at times) at all the bars.

As we're getting our influx of snowbirds now, and are heading into prime biker season soon, I'm curious to hear what happens next.

Do all these "newcomers" get told also? Does Barry try to lay low for awhile and hope the buzz dies down? Does he even care? Maybe he likes being talked about? Or does it start to feel a little too small town here and does he try to start again somewhere else until his (hopeful /prayerful) eventual arrest?

Oh my, you've got the scoop. What do the locals seem to think of BM if you don't mind me asking?
