The Mother’s Day aspect has really been eating at me today. My hubby and girls have been so sweet to me and it just is an extra punch in the gut that he did this to her on MD weekend. :(

(Just jumping off your post)

When is a good time to murder your wife? When no-one else is going to be around for a while.

Anyone who murders their spouse in a premeditated manner - and leaves their children without a mother, a maternal grandmother for their future children - doesn't care about when it happens. As long as it happens when they perceive they have the best shot at getting away with their crime.

I’m sure Lauren S. last video has been posted. Many of us speculated that she was a keeper of important information on this case. That people most likely shared things with her that she kept quiet to the public (I believe she absolutely handed over info to LE). She probably also withheld information that BM told her. Hats off to her for understanding the importance of this investigation and not jeopardizing anything.

I’m looking forward to what she will soon be sharing. IMO
bbm
The bolded will be very interesting to hear.
No doubt Barry might be mentally kicking himself for speaking to Lauren at all.
Imo.

I think they will object. BM doesn't want anyone to see the details of that AA. He'd rather keep alive his story about "incompetent LE" that would railroad him rather than chase down errant mountain lions, boogey men wandering lightly used county roads on mountain passes to capture middle-aged women on mountain bikes on Mother's Day; and "ax to grind" drug-addicted former employees retaliating for being fired from their independent contracts to labor for a guy too cheap to actually employ people who instead "graced them" with hard manual labor at likely below-market rates because he knew they had few other choices.
Agree
He will not want anyone to know that a "BobCat, mountain lion" did NOT attack Suzanne.
OK BM-- no mountain lion, But a Bobcat, as in machinery...
Yes... I am sure your "Bobcat" did help you out.
He does not want anyone to know that she was NOT taken by some random person and that "Suzanne trusted the Lord and if one person got saved from this, she would think it was worth it."
Sheesh BM--- Saved from what ?? what was worth what ?? One person saved from DM ??
Another quote from BM- "I am afraid of what is out there,' he said. 'People don't know the truth,
No--Barry, we DO know the truth.. but why don't you tell us what the truth is?

OMG-- sorry for the rant, but IT IS Mother's DAy and Suzanne went missing last year on Mother's Day and I am feeling pi$$y towards him today.

Carry on

I thought there’s a high rate of murdered women around big holidays?

I know there is a high rate of stress and angst around times such as Christmas. I am not sure that Mothers Day qualifies as a big holiday for a bloke. Maybe.

I tend to think that the girls were away, so it was time to act.

I also tend to think that he had the age old reason for murdering Suzanne. Wanted a divorce (either he or she did) and he did not want to share their assets.

I tend to think this due to the premeditation aspect. It sounds as if this crime was not a sudden bad reaction to an argument.

Under Colorado law, first-degree murder is defined as the deliberate and premeditated killing of another human being with malice aforethought. It differs from second-degree murder which requires extreme indifference to human life generally rather than the intent to take the life of a particular person.

I also think that it is a family holiday where people are busy with their own families. I think that he also thought that would be a good time to act. He wasn't banking on Covid and the collapse of his alibi amongst other things.

For all we know, Barry may have arranged for someone to sign him in at the FF training course. However, when it was totally canceled due to Covid, that blew that plan. He had to scramble for another alibi. So, he then was forced to throw together the urgent repair of the wall...without the permit being pulled among other things...

I want to cut him out of every photo with her in it..

I’m going to repost the Tyson Draper/Barry Morphew interview for anyone new who may have missed it. It’s a real eye opener considering everything BM said is most likely a lie.
Maybe I'm seeing something that isn't anything, but watch BM's mom in the pickup in the latter part of that video, after she moves the truck because another vehicle came up behind it at the one-vehicle wide bridge. She gets out and climbs back into the passenger seat and BM and TD come down the hill and start talking two or three yards away. Then, she puts her hand on the door just outside the open window and after watching BM and TD closely for a bit, at about 7:20 mark or so, she starts doing something that looks like she is trying to subtly signal BM. Could be that her hand is just a little twitchy, but it sort of looks like extending her index finger and then dragging it back up like a subtle signal to BM to "notice me and come here, I see something."

I wonder if she noticed TD was recording.

P.S. Don't mean to implicate her in anything other than trying to protect BM as a result of possible suspicion about people who show up that might actually be press. But, I find it interesting.

Edited to be more precise about timing in video.

I thought so too, was surprised he got out alive..

At the very beginning, Barry did tell TD to "put something away" and TD said "Oh no it's not recording" But I do have a feeling Barry did know or suspect TD was recording the whole time. Just how he acted and how comfortable he was giving information out. It's like he was sending a message out to everyone that yes he is out here searching. MOO

Yes. I thought it was meant for a message to others too.
But I saw or heard no emotions.
I will bet money BM thinks he will get away with it still.

I agree. I think the defense will object to releasing the AA.

Kind of agree.

if it’s private counsel, I think they will object and seek the longest possible periods they can to keep the info private.

if it’s public counsel, I don’t think we’ll see the same dog and pony show.

if it’s still public counsel that will be a big tell, imo.

@Seattle1 On the issue of whether or not we will see the AA Thursday or Friday dependent on whether the defense agrees to unseal it, what kind of time frame would we be looking at? Later this week, month or further down the road?
Also interested in your thoughts regarding whether defense will want the AA to remain sealed and what reasons would likely win them extra time? TIA!

I am watching CM Live video and he showed us a picture of BM & SM trailer when they were moving to CO.
