Like it or not, if there’s no evidence of BM having an affair, and solid evidence that Suzanne was having an affair, this, along with the daughters continued support of their dad in the court room, will garner some sympathy for BM by some jurors.

At this point, it might be true, but once everything is out in the open, I think the jury will be sympathetic towards her decision. He was a friend from high school, she was dealing with 2nd bout with cancer---it was probably more of an emotional need she was having, than a sexual, partying type of relationship.

Greetings all, I have been lurking since day 1 this case, finally decided to join. Don't know why I picked today, just seemed like the thing to do.
Some very interesting twists and turns in the case already...

We are glued to all the info coming through, and guess there will be loads more.
I am waiting for a 'sure thing' implicating BM, and his response, when this is stated : denial, blame etc.

Surveillance system was not operating the day that #SuzanneMorphew went missing. Investigators say the people living in the house before installed the system and it was not operating for several years. @KKTV11News

Judge asks why the defense is talking about May 9th because prosecution did not talk about it. Nielsen says she will have to recall the witness at the end of the prelim. Judge says he understands. Nielsen moves on to talk about the surveillance cameras on Morphew property.

judge needs to reign in the defense. It's ironic that the defense was concerned about the prosecution having too much time to present. Meanwhile, Nielsen is dragging this out and asking the witnesses about issues outside the scope of their direct testimony. Which is not how cross examination works.

Nielsen reads the prosecution's theory from the 129 pg Arrest Warrant Affidavit that investigators used Morphew's Telematix report on his truck that "From 247 pm 5/9 until 537 am 5/10 he took steps to dispose of evidence of Suzanne’s disappearance and death.

"This means that the last known time that #suzannemorphew was alive was 2:47 on Saturday May 9th, 2020. It's a sad moment in the courtroom.

If there are messages from Jeff trying to get ahold of Suzanne around Mother's Day, and those prove he was elsewhere at the time, no brainer.

But if he is married with a family, he may not have reached out to her that day. ...Seems like a time to respect each others family space?
