So ultimately Suzanne lost her life May 9th between 2:11 pm and 2:47 PM? Is that what we can conclude?

RSBM

Yep. Finally caught up after a heck of a day of details but this makes the most sense to me.

05.09.20 11am - BM cuts the work day short with MG, telling her he needs to go "hiking or biking" to make the wife happy then, noon or 1 or 2 according to JP - seen at the machine shop where he brought in a plate for the bobcat to be repaired

I can only assume he went home directly after this, and this is where Suzanne met her end, on the Saturday afternoon before Mother's Day, just like SO many here have speculated all along. Then, this is when evidence destruction began to take place, until the wee hours of Mother's Day Sunday morning when he checked into the rented room in Broomfield.

Hard to wrap my head around, let alone my heart, for this poor woman, her girls, JL's wife, and their kids. Just a tragic, awful nightmare for so many.

Eytan also comforted/hugged daughter when daughter was crying during break. I do feel for the daughters. Can I post these things?
Fake comforting if you ask me. They just got done pounding into the daughters heads that their mother was what BM told them she was over and over.

With SM's affair now known, this provides probable motive.
This controlling jerk, needs everything going his way: money all his, if SM intended to leave.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • #145
Regarding texts between SM and SO... In almost every single text there was awareness, insight, and deep concern verbalized by SM regarding how the marriage troubles and tension affects her daughters.

Ok wait I'm confused..what was at 2:11 pm on 5/9?
2:47 is the last time she used her phone right?
ugh I missed something .....(goes back through 10 million pages to look..)

  • #147
Do you think that influences a jury? Have to ask ...
The defendant/client is accused of first-degree murder -- in this case, a man killing a petite woman. In books, I've read, an attorney's body language, posturing herself close to the defendant, touching him, interacting face to face, can soften the defendant's image, humanize him, attempt to show he's non-threatening. I believe it may work on some jurors. It wouldn't work on me -- I read too much here!

Barry told authorities, “There’s not a more special, wonderful person in the world.” He said they did have “spats” about him working too much and he wanted her off a certain medication she was taking, but “it wasn’t like they didn’t make up,” Nielsen said.

Barry did not protest when his house became a crime scene, and his truck was picked up. He mentioned to deputies that Suzanne had been cleaning because the daughters’ friend was visiting, and Suzanne had changed the bed sheets for the friend.

In July 2020, Colorado Bureau of Investigation detectives began working again in and around the Morphew home. This search was extensive, with numerous items seized and hundreds of photos taken, Nielsen said. Blood was found on a tampon, but nowhere else in the home.

Nielsen read a section of Barry’s arrest affidavit on the prosecution’s theory, which included data from Barry’s Ford 350 truck. The affidavit reads, as read by Nielsen: From 2:47 p.m. May 9 until 5:37 a.m. May 10, he took steps to dispose of evidence of Suzanne’s disappearance and death.

THE LAST COMMUNICATION FROM SUZANNE was at 14:11 on May 9 between her and Jeff Libler on Linked In.

At the end of his testimony, Stanley asked Walker to confirm Barry claimed he left his home for Broomfield at 5 a.m. on May 10. Walker said this was true. Stanley also confirmed through him that the data in Barry’s truck showed “door activity” at 3:26 a.m.

Just some of the tantalizing dates/times of crucial events, that were basically mentioned in passing today. It’s my hope and expectation that they will dive into this tomorrow, and make sense of it all.

Today was a lot of noise, but not much of else. It’s going to be the facts that bury Barry, and not innuendo and slander involving the victim.

Activity from Barry Morphew's truck door shows it opened at around 3:26 am on 5/10 and opened again at 8:10. He told investigators he left the house that morning around 5.

Last activity on Suzanne's phone was 423 am 5/10

From 247 pm 5/9 until 537 am 5/10 he took steps to dispose of evidence of Suzanne’s disappearance and death.

The last message Suzanne ever sent from her phone was to the man she was having an affair with, Harris testifies. That was at 2:11 p.m. May 9.

Regarding DA Stanley. Talked to local today. Was told that DA Stanley is respected and known to run a "tight ship". She totally comes across that way.

I think everybody needs a minute to regroup. We have all had a year to create the perfect image of Suzanne in our heads, poor innocent, compliant, Suzanne who endured years of tyrant Barry without so much as an objection. Today we found out she <modsnip> maybe lived a bit of a fantasy life dreaming of something different than what she always knew. Would she have left her girls to run away? Or was this really something to look forward to, be excited about, get her through? Maybe she just wanted to be wanted again. She didn’t get the opportunity to figure any of it out because Barry ended her life. Barry doesn’t get to kill her because she was cheating.

Is the Poncha Springs tower her phone last pinged off of @ 4:23 AM, the tower it would locate on if she was at home? That wasn't clear to me.

Lauren Scharf@LaurenScharfTV
Suzanne's Phone was last pinged at 4:23 a.m. on May 10, 2020, on the Poncha Springs tour. (should be tower).

I have read many times here on WS (with links) that this is so.

The nearest cell tower to their house was Poncha Springs - so we have to keep that in mind. People can be in motion (cellular-wise) but still ping off the same tower. Or they can lose service (but GPS...well, that's something different).

My guess is that Suzanne's phone was turned off by someone, either before it left the house 0r right afterwards. It seems not inconceivable to me that Barry forgot to turn it off as they left the house - but he knew he had to take it elsewhere.

This is a fairly complicated digital issue, so hopefully we'll hear some actual testimony about it tomorrow.

She is a real trooper!!! So nice and so good at her job. So lucky to have her on Suzanne's case!
I just wanted to thank you. I know you want #justiceforsuzanne and this is emotionally draining. We appreciate your time and emotional investment @NoSI!

That definitely seems to be the window.

So the 211 obviously makes sense as that was her last communication. Something clearly happened at 2:47, and it’s documented somehow.

Is that when he began pretending to be Suzanne (if that happened)?

Or did he leave the house and make some purchases?

I’m sure there are tons of possibilities.

Any avid bikers understand what the brake in the locked position means?
I'm not a biker but is that how you would load and transport a bike say inside your vehicle so the front tire doesn't move? TIA! :)

This JL was her boyfriend before BM?
BM was a lot older than Suzanne, not at HS same time.
I think he knew she was the richest gal he would have a chance with, pulled out all the stops to win her, bet that is also why he couldn't keep it going it going as a decent husband, got abusive.
Like Fotis Dulos, he found marrying for money was a terrible job especially as you get older.
And then of course ultimately the unloved person wants out.
They say, “when you marry for money, you pay for it every day.”
