I am absolutely baffled by this. Stunned. After all of the trash/dumpster stops/hotel/bags/tools/etc testimony, it would take two people to drag my limp, devastated body out of that courtroom chair.

No way. I’m convinced he disposed of her body the night before, during the period of time his phone was on airplane mode. He must have had a spot already picked out, as he was seemingly following a playbook (phone on airplane, truck reboot).

There was a stunning level of planning here. Fortunately plans frequently go awry, and he didn’t put as much thought into his alibi as phase 1 (murder, disposal).

Anecdotally, that seems to be pretty common.

Though I loathe JL, I cannot help feeling how much guilt he must be carrying now knowing that BM walked in on their chat and he in a way was a reason that SM was no more.

Howe the airplan mode, tranqulizer, rebooting means BM definitely had planned or premeditated how to kill SM... no one in a passion killing can think these things through in that instant

For all that yesterday lacked, today made up for it in spades.

The timeline is coming into focus, and it’s not a pretty picture.

Barry admitting to throwing away “tranquilizer material,” must have been because he was backed into a corner.

There’s probably something that he can’t deny. Maybe it was the cap, or maybe there is something more (like purchase records).

Can’t wait for part 2.

I never thought of it this way. Like they possibly are faking? To appease him? Oh, I would be so relieved. It would actually make sense. JMO

It’s exactly what I would do. I grew up with a narc dad and sometimes you just have to play their game so you don’t become the target of their rage.

I just feel ill. From sunbathing and chatting with someone she was in love with, with dreams of a new start just around the corner, to being shot with a tranquilizer dart, murdered, and (along with some personal belongings) being discarded between Puma Path and Broomfield in dumpsters and trash cans.

He has them convinced that she cheated, lied & broke up their family without giving him enough (million more) chances to do better. "Oh, Suzanne.....you got what you deserved." Tragic if they believe that but I'm beginning to think they do. They know nobody leaves Barry!

Not that I’m aware. I’m sure there more to come on the tranquilizer info. You kill chipmunks with a 22, and you don’t dart them. I think a dart gun is a separate system.

There may not even be a gun, and perhaps just a dart was used.

Robert Hansen in Alaska would do just that. Fly girls out in his little plane to remote areas, then when they landed, essentially told them they'd better run. Then he would hunt them down and kill them. Killed more than 17 women, but one finally got away.
