But what about putting his phone in airplane mode? The truck reset? Why would he put his phone in airplane mode immediately after he got home? That makes no sense, he's home - she knows it, she's with him.
I wonder if any evidence of his trash dumps was discovered...like the stripped sheets from the bed. Was it Mallory's bed that had the bedding removed? If so, why? Why was it important to strip those sheets and discard them?Without a doubt. He moved around way too smoothly, and took measures to cover his tracks. It was as if he was following a script.
The problem he faced though, is you can’t think of everything, and he’s not as smart as he thinks he is:
The trash dumps, the lie about working when he was in his room for 5 hours, the tranquilizer cap, and the avoidable mistake of actually putting himself in the vicinity of the bike location.
The chipmunk story took him a staggering 9 months to come up with, and he’d have been better served by being quiet.
I am very intrigued by one thing though:
Barry’s admission that he was throwing away tranquilizer materials. Something compelling must have forced him to come clean there, especially when he couldn’t remember what else he threw away (other than the boots).
I think it was more than explaining the cap, as he could have said he didn’t know where the wrappers or whatever it was, was disposed of.
MOO Even his jealousy is at core, about someone else getting her resources.
That's why it will be imperative for the prosecutor to lay it out in a concise manner for the jury to see when this case goes to trial. The defense is all about baffling with BS.MOO:

Yes I think he formulated his plan after the May 6 “it’s over” text and his response - we may find some computer searches that helped him:
Me too! It would make for a dramatic closing for the prosecution at the end of the trial. Especially if she wrote things about him being unstable, his temper, controlling behavior, misuse of her inheritance and being scared of him! I mean I’ve heard of 50 ways to leave your lover (slip out the back Jack, make a new plan Stan) but if Suzanne took the time to write down FIFTY as in literally 5-0 reasons she wanted a divorce from Barry then that would be a very good thing to leave fresh in the jurors minds as they go to deliberate Barry’s fate. And like Suzanne speaking from the grave in a way. She had 50 reasons to leave but 2 even more important reasons she stayed? And they are supporting their Dad. It’s so sad. MOOI hope we get to hear all of the 50 reasons Suzanne had for leaving Barry. I hope her girls do too. MOO.
Yes. You don't access/buy ketamine or whatever was used in the dart gun unless you have an intended purpose. Let's see the logical explanation for having a controlled substance on hand when you are vehemently anti-drug and have no other purpose for it.After learning more details from the prelim. I'd like to hear whether everyone feels Barry planned in advance to kill Suzanne that day?
Yes I want to know more about the sheets, too.I wonder if any evidence of his trash dumps were discovered...like the stripped sheets from the bed. Was it Mallory's bed that had the bedding removed? If so, why? Why was it important to strip those sheets and discard them?

What if Suzanne did hear him come home but thought that he would pull into the garage and go through the house but instead he leaves the truck in the driveway and sneaks up on her from the outside?Wouldn't Suzanne hear a car coming up the driveway? So she'd know he was home?
He may have been worried about tracks that matched his boots, or soil that could perhaps help law enforcement find Suzanne. Why did he get rid of his hiking boots and not the laces?
I doubt he had ever operated a washer/dryer in his life, and it shows.Yes. You don't access/buy ketamine or whatever was used in the dart gun unless you have an intended purpose. When he was ready, the Bobcat pounced.
Not if she had on earbuds, AirPodsWouldn't Suzanne hear a car coming up the driveway? So she'd know he was home?
There was also allegedly a bleach smell at the home, just as there was at the hotel.I wonder if any evidence of his trash dumps was discovered...like the stripped sheets from the bed. If I know the cell phone provider of the intended recipient, I can usually find a way to send a text through the computer. I'm on my computer more than my phone.Much discussion about the Spoofing(?). I am with Verizon carrier and you can actually log into your account and go to your messages. You can send messages from your computer, just as you can send a text from your phone.
Idk what service they used, but maybe the same could be done with other carriers? If so, it would fit with the Spoofing talk, jmo.
