According to an employee at Salida Stove and Spa, Neilsen said from an interview with investigator Derek Graham #BarryMorphew visited on May 9 between 4 and 5:30 p.m. That there was nothing unusual about his demeanor.
It's hard for me to imagine they wouldn't bring that up in the prelim if they had found it since it would be rock solid evidence of premeditation. But I guess it could still be coming. Personally I'd be a little surprised if he was capable of spoofing her phone. That's a step up from putting your phone in airplane mode or resetting the truck power. But he may have been trying to monitor her phone for a while, so it's not inconceivable. So there is a thing called ‘spoofing’ which essentially lets you impersonate someone else for text, calls or chats.

This my MOO, but I don’t believe the Saturday morning texts between BM and SM were between them. I believe they were between BM and BM (impersonating SM).
It would be too much of a coicindenxe for SM to request hot tub stuff (ie Chrlorine). I think BM created the hiking scenario to make it seem like all was well, and the hot tub store scenario to give an alibi for why he needed chlorine.
Yet, it was nothing more than his premeditated plan to kill SM that afternoon. And this why he was acting so off to MG Saturday morning.
Edit to add one more link on this topic of spoofing and criminal cases:

It is common in domestic violence and I’m sure something that the FBI is familiar with and has looked in to. Although, I’d imagine that info won’t come out in the prelim but maybe it will.
Then how did it work in the podcast? And why do tech people say this:
[2021 Update] Does Airplane Mode Stop GPS Tracking?
Do you have a counter-citation, as I would really like to know.

If he's not talking and it's recording a podcast he's listening to, it's a public broadcast and admissible. Suzanne's conversations with her boyfriend, it's her recording of her own voice - not sure if his voice can be used though, or if she was using earbuds or loud speaker, but it probably depends on laws in his State. I see it as the defense's problem to get that part in for trial. Perhaps not even necessary if they stipulate to the affair.I get that, but if she isn’t in the car while it’s recorded is it still admissible? Just curious I think the state met their burden today and eventually it’s gonna come down to a fight on the evidence. Just was curious
BM said that his vehicle data did not match up because he had forgotten to tell investigators about a repair he made to his Bobcat. Time is unknown.Wasn't this "Fix" suppose to have happened at like midnight or close to it? (Per BM)

I don't know if this has been posted. Are we assuming that the TOD is between 2:44 p.m. (last selfie sent to JL) and 2:47 p.m. (Barry's phone set to airplane mode)? (I need to check the actual time that the selfie was sent. I thought that I read that it was 2:44 p.m. Other posters say that it was actually 2:11 p.m.)You know what would really help us fill in the gaps, and alleviate our issues with vague information?
