Or the river! Maybe she just got in the river.

The man truly has no shortage of ideas about how his wife disappeared.

MOO
The wierd lack of how or of any agency in "she got in the river" is notable.

Maybe he got training from his 400 tours buddy.
Hah, this guy is quite the 'exaggerator' isn't he? Searched over 200 miles, had 300 hours of interviews, shot 85 chimpmunks, put up $100K reward, the list goes on and on and on.

I genuinely loathe BM, he hides under a cloak of religion and Fakebook photos as a good and Godly family man. I think he's a very bad man and has been doing different degrees of bad things for a long time.

Text messages between SO and SM -

# Peoples Exhibit 6
– “I can’t handle the unstableness. The day he cut his leg he accused me of wanting to go back to town to get his meds and talk to someone. I came back with I can’t question you about another but you can me? He literally opened his car door while I was driving up the mountain like he was going to jump. His usual tactic when I bring up another”; “Macy mentioned us separating today or divorcing. She wants us happy. She is tired of the tension”; He plays the hurt one”; “Says he loves me and can’t handle the pain from me not giving him the love he needs” Discussion about physical abuse, pushing SM into closet, putting gun to his head and saying “is this what you want?”

# Peoples Exhibit 8 – “I feel no peace when he is here

# Peoples Exhibit 9 – “I feel numb”; “I wouldn’t feel safe alone with him”. Discussion about plan for MaM to graduate and then SM filing for divorce. Uses “control mechanisms” -> As per SAH, “he would use girls to keep SM in marriage”.

# Peoples Exhibit 10 – Discussion about MaM living @ PP and MalM in Gunnison d/t school.

# Peoples Exhibit 11 – “Not sure he could take high road

# Peoples Exhibit 12/13 – “I tried to hold on for Macy

# Peoples Exhibit 14 – “He wants me to be the bad guy”; “I stood my ground… He left again”; “Told him I am done. That I need peace”. Discussion that end of marriage would have to be SMs fault.

# Peoples Exhibit 17 – “Stressful marriage”. BM asked SM “How will you pay for medical bills if you leave?

(# Peoples Exhibits 18-26 – Text message screenshots 2019 - 2020 between SM and SO.)

# Peoples Exhibit 19: “She (MaM) sees how he is towards me and almost begged me to divorce him”; “My heart aches for them both in different ways

# Peoples Exhibit 20: “But dealing with a narc”; “Macy said mom we could move to Salida and both get jobs this summer

# Peoples Exhibit 22: “She even mentioned a restraining order” (MaM).

# Peoples Exhibit 23: “Jekyll and Hyde”, calm and angry, rage and really angry. Discussion about 70x7 forgiveness that SM mentioned in the text messages. Matthew 18:21-22 in the new King James version of the Bible reads: Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

# Peoples Exhibit 25: “He won’t speak of divorce. Begging for another chance”.

# Peoples Exhibit 26: Discussion that daughters were center for SMs world.

Thank you for posting.

I can't think of the words to fully express how saddening it is to 'hear' Suzanne's words and what she was feeling/dealing with.

Let’s see:

Barry arrives home, and there is frantic activity in the backyard. Barry is dumb enough to all but admit to this, some 9 months later, with the hilarious “Alvin and the Chimpmunks,” story.

Suzanne never shows a sign of life after that moment, but Barry sure is a busy boy.

He conceals the location of his phone, and wipes the his vehicle data. One of these things could be a crazy coincidence, but two is astronomically unlikely.

Then we get to the good stuff. Barry claims to have set his alarm for 4:30, but he’s active a good hour before that. His phone is in the vicinity of the bike location, and his vehicle activity supports this massive lie.

Then of course, Suzanne’s phone goes dark before Barry even leaves the house that morning. Weird right?! We will surely hear more about this during round two.

It’s Mother’s Day, and Suzanne’s phone never comes online. Not only that, but she doesn’t communicate with a soul. Not her lover, not her daughters, not her best friend. No one.

Meanwhile, husband of the year is dumping trash, changing shirts, spending 11 minutes at this job site that he left incredibly early for, and most importantly, lying through his teeth to the FBI about it.

He claimed he worked all day, and actually received the phone call from the neighbor while he was at the job site. The evidence shows that this was a stunning lie, and he spent most of the day in his hotel room (probably napping, as he wouldn’t have slept since the prior day).

I’ll stop here to answer your question, “is it possible one of them went to his house on Mother’s Day and caused Suzanne’s demise?”

I would argue no, as Suzanne could only be murdered once.
Well then! I don't know what to say.

That's why I think that if there was any money in that safe (I don't think there was) it was more like seventy bucks, not $70k.

I am on that road as well, thinking about the tree container, corn feed burlap sack (50 lb bag is too small for a body, maybe over her head? ), coolers. He could have prepped beforehand and was ready to go. Like in the Sopranos-if you walk into a room and there is a tarp on the floor, you’re in trouble.

Any thought on what Suzanne was “studying”? Was it bible study? Was she taking a course? Continuing Ed for something work related where she was on the books?
Maybe she was updating for her teaching degree. I can see her wanting to get back to work and into the public.

Hey all, thought I share. They talked a lot about a "Berla Report" in the context of Telematics. Found this source and it is pretty helpful. It was retrieved from the Berla website.

NoSi, thank you so much for taking your time to attend in person. You're always so helpful and it is genuinely appreciated by all of us here.

The calm of discussing snow tires and eating veggie soup stands in stark contrast to his recent threats of suicide and her standing strong and saying it’s over.

Suzanne seemed hopeful that a civil divorce was possible. She fakes civility toward that end. Barry had no intention of divorce, and was calculating his plan to come out of this marriage with all the money, plus sympathy. He fakes civility toward that end.

MOO

I am beginning to think that he did not shoot any dart at all. She was having a "time" grillin and chillin. They all three knew each other since high school.
He was pouting.

I am also sure that he was not blind to their communications.

She might have liked to drink wine. Maybe he darted the wine. Somehow he spiked her drink. And drown her in the hot tube. He could not take
it anymore. And what she had been through, she deserved a good friend. Good for her.

IMO

totally unconfirmed that $$ was missing...besides...this was Barry's safe...I would be surprised if Suzanne even knew the combination.
I thought the same thing. That and the locked file cabinets filled with deeds, banking, life insurance policies?, etc.
I doubt she had any control which fits with their recent arguments about money.

I also highly doubt that there was $70,000 in a garage safe. I can, however, think of two reasons why someone would store cash in that manner -- 1) hiding it in the event of a divorce/money split; 2) it was under the table money. JMO.

Another possibility: Did Barry purposely leave the Bobcat behind at the house when he went to Broomfield? Did he ask one of the workers to go get the Bobcat and bring it with them Sunday up to Broomfield? This would have placed one of the workers at the PP house Sunday, while Barry was conveniently relaxing at the hotel. Thus, setting up a worker to have been at PP house on Mothers Day when SM was alleged to have gone missing.

jmo / speculation
I believe he purposely left it behind but that was HIS bobcat and highly doubt he asked anyone to bring it along.
That kitty wasn't going anywhere.

Tree Pod Burial

MOO - Since CM’s Webslueths video interview, there has been speculation on the importance regarding the purchase of a 50lb cornfeed bag that BM supposedly made.

Some have said BM might have dumped the cornfeed in order to use the burlap sack the feed usually is packaged in, to transport SM out of the home.

<modsnip>

Couple this with the report that one of the daughter’s ex-boyfriends was threatened by BM with ‘getting buried under a tree and no one will find him’ words. BM definitely has the means to accomplish this sort of burial.

MOO

Wow. I think you have something here.

This makes perfect sense in a very sad, very sick way.

Oh that’s an excellent observation - somehow I had forgotten she has a degree from Purdue ! Well done @girlhasnoname

So Barry’s family is presented with this account and their response is ???
Not true!!! (Denial)
or do they say,
It might be true, but we don’t care because you don’t know the whole story??? (Justification)
This!!!!! It’s infuriating. JMO

I wonder how long the time gap was between the day Barry actually went into the Spa store and the day that the investigators interviewed the Spa owners.

Thing is, the owners of the store knew he’d been in there. They also knew Susanne was missing and they had to know that the Sheriff was asking citizens to save video (as posted up thread, there was a reverse 911 call.)

They know when their store hours were that month. Did he “pop-in” after hours?

It feels a little fishy to me that the store owners can’t be accurate.

I think there is a camera at the Shell two doors down.
Lets hope the video footage shows comings and goings from 225.

Sure if they can prove she is deceased which is one of the corner pieces of the puzzle. Right now they left me at Barry running around the house with a tranquilizer loaded in a 22 chasing a 100 lb wife who was having an affair and backing his truck around the driveway to unhook his bobcat and trailer. I don’t think so. More to come hopefully. You couldn’t write a novel this crazy. I am actually beginning to think there was $70000 in a safe and he hired help so I know I am spinning like a top.
Why is it so unbelievable?
Threatening suicide by a gun to head, jump from a moving car, or just generally threatening to become a grain of sand in eternity, adding demanding 490 times of forgiveness are all active dangerous attempts to get an outcome out of his wife.
Not leaving.
MOO once the real boundary came into focus, that she was leaving, the theatrical outbursts about killing himself were replaced with real plans of killing her to get that same outcome.

I don't think Suzanne was sunbathing by the hot tub. If you zoom in to by the grassy area, there's a door and a tarmac bit? There looks like there is a sunlounger/s.
I think she may have been in this area, may have been harder to hear Barry pull up this side of the house?

I just googled the store and the pop -up message indicates the store closes soon
5- pm MT. Also, it appears to me the store closes at 2 pm on Saturday so that makes me think the employee was mistaken on the day he saw BM. I think the state's witness is correct here. MOO

Through LS’s tweet, we know what BM’s sister says.

“Barry Morphew’s sister just came up to me in the hallway and said, “Are you Lauren? Yes. You are an instrumental part in destroying our family.” She then walked away.”
