This confuses me. If they didn’t find ALL journals how do they know they existed and what SM didn’t write about in them ? Or am I reading it wrong? Remember the hotel footage showing BM with a large notebook ? This was after 4 trash dumps, the car wash and 40 minutes at Men’s Wearhouse

Investigators found some journals but not all journals, according to Harris. Suzanne didn't write about the affair in any journal.

BarryMorphew returned back to the hotel with a large notebook with papers that are messy. Then left the hotel 20 minutes later with the notebook in hand with papers neat in hand. He also has changed shirts into a grey t-shirt.

I just hope for SM’s sake he was not chasing her, I hope whatever happened to her was a surprise attack and she never saw it coming.
I am not judging her one way or the other for having another man in her life, we have all mentioned how crude and despicable BM seems to us, imagine how he was in real life. Hello ! He is accused of killing his wife and the Mother of his children. He has destroyed not only Suzanne’s life but families on both sides, they will live with his actions the rest of their life’s and most likely for a generation after that.

That has puzzled me, too, to read that SM sent an "I'm done" text to BM after all the time she supposedly worked with the domestic violence group at her church. Basically the first thing they tell you is that it's the most dangerous when you leave the abuser. They both manipulated each other alittle in my opinion. But not uncommon at that stage from every divorcing couple I have known to kind of in limbo especially if one spouse wants out and the other doesn’t.

I wonder if the 4:31am receipt of money to her bank account was a birthday cash gift from her Dad? Interesting they did not disclose the amount. If the husband found out - he may have thought this money was "his" money too?

What was the form of deposit? Check, EFT, currency, ACH, cashier's check? I doubt it was cash/actual greenbacks, because 4:31am timestamp, if accurate, would likely not be the processing time for an in-person, teller-assisted deposit or for a night drop box deposit.

Was being facetious about shooting them with darts. I guess I live in an urban bubble because I've NEVER heard of shooting chipmunks or squirrels, especially for target practice - as someone mentioned.
I bottle fed/loved three baby squirrels that were abandoned in the attic of our garage as a kid. They came back all the time for peanuts. Romeo, Juliet and Cleopatra. Still feed birds and squirrels to this day.
I just can't imagine killing little creatures for sport or trophies. CM made a point of how BM is 'a hunter'/'enjoys the hunt' [paraphrasing]. Still pondering that premise and what it infers.
Hunting for food one actually eats is another story, I suppose... I don't mean to disparage anyone where it's part of their regional demographic.

My mother-in-law's family used to eat Squirrel Stew every Sunday night. Her father would go out every Sunday afternoon with his gun and shoot three squirrels. He would bring them back to her mother and she would make Sunday Night Squirrel Stew. I do hope he skinned them before turning them over to his wife to cook. This was in southern Illinois in the 1930's during The Great Depression.

I don't think squirrel and bunny (hasenpfeffer) are as common anymore, but I do know people that take hunting season seriously - Deer, Elk, Duck and Pheasant. They take them to a processor that cuts up the carcass to freeze for meat for their use during the winter.

IMO, Chipmunks are the most vile and destructive creatures I know. They have burrowed extensively twice under two of our concrete patios causing many $ in damage. Right now the concrete has cracked again and dropped at least 4" in many places, the ground around the patio has dropped at least 5-6". I wish I could show you pictures.

Maybe BM purchased a faraday bag. Maybe BM at some point put SM phone in that faraday bag. Maybe they both agreed to put their phones in the faraday bag. Then maybe BM suggested that they have dinner. Then maybe BM said first he wants to take SM to test drive some older car she has always wanted. They arrive at the older car location. They leave in the older car and on the way stop at a property BM wanted to show SM as a surprise. BM ends SM life and puts her in previously prepared grave. I'm not 100% familiar with known timeline but interested in if something similar to this scenario could fit during sat afternoon to Sunday morning timespan. MOO. (Its Friday the 13th.)

I personally think that BM hopes that this is what a juror may think (and originally thought LE might think). Due to him dumping in the Broomfield area.
He had no reason to do that - no reason that I can easily endorse, anyway.

IIRC, JP was not comfortable (in his meeting with Lauren) that BM had set him up as an alibi. It might have been even more of an attempted set up than that.

Barry sent all the meth heads to Broomfield.

Perhaps an interest transfer (made overnight as bank interest and bank fees frequently are) from her funds management account into her Green Dot account?


At some point, Suzanne set up a secret Green Dot bank account as well as an account with a fund management company, Compass Management. The FBI agent on the stand, Ken Harris, said he didn’t follow up on these accounts.

Just an inquiry he made on Saturday about purchasing a backhoe attachment and a new blade for his Bobcat.
Lauren seems to think that the blade was then replaced.
Was the inquiry made and then the work was immediately done? Or was the inquiry earlier on Saturday and then the work done at lunchtime? Who knows?
