I don't think Suzanne was sunbathing by the hot tub. If you zoom in to by the grassy area, there's a door and a tarmac bit? There looks like there is a sunlounger/s.
I think she may have been in this area, may have been harder to hear Barry pull up this side of the house?

Is it a diesel pick up? You can hear those coming from 1/2 a mile away. MOO.

Let’s see:

Barry arrives home, and there is frantic activity in the backyard. Barry is dumb enough to all but admit to this some nine months later, with the hilarious “Alvin and the Chimpmunks,” story.

Suzanne never shows a sign of life after that moment, but Barry sure is a busy boy.

He conceals the location of his phone, and wipes the his vehicle data. One of these things could be a crazy coincidence, but two is astronomically unlikely.

Then we get to the good stuff. Barry claims to have set his alarm for 4:30, but he’s active a good hour before that. His phone is in the vicinity of the bike location, and his vehicle activity supports this massive lie.

Then of course, Suzanne’s phone goes dark before Barry even leaves the house that morning. Weird right?! We will surely hear more about this during round two.

It’s Mother’s Day, and Suzanne’s phone never comes online. Not only that, but she doesn’t communicate with a soul. Not her lover, not her daughters, not her best friend. No one.

Meanwhile, husband of the year is dumping trash, changing shirts, spending 11 minutes at this job site that he left incredibly early for, and most importantly, lying through his teeth to the FBI about it.

He claimed he worked all day, and actually received the phone call from the neighbor while he was at the job site. The evidence shows that this was a stunning lie, and he spent most of the day in his hotel room (probably napping, as he wouldn’t have slept since the prior day).

I’ll stop here to answer your question, “is it possible one of them went to his house on Mother’s Day and caused Suzanne’s demise?”

I would argue no, as Suzanne could only be murdered once.

My hinky meter went off when it was stated that he "texted" them. It was in the prelim somewhere. That hints at a relationship that's a little more personal than your average customer. Friends maybe? MOO.
100%

my hinky meter went off the charts when JP told LS that weeks later he talked to them ( the husband wife owners) and he mentioned chlorine they gave each other knowing looks.

This is probably far fetched. Perhaps he read about Picton in BC who fed the ladies' bodies to his pigs.

Are there any hog farms in the area?

My newest 'far fetched' is a cemetery for hiding the body - there's quite a few in the area, one isn't too far from Kim's Gym

Truck tires on gravel can also be quite loud, plus the trailer would have added some noise. He may not have cared whether she heard him drive up or not.

MOO

Wait -- now I'm not sure if their driveway was paved or not. I think I remember seeing it freshly gravelled but that may have happened after she was gone. MOO

It’s the date and time that bugs me- when we set up a living trust with automatic distributions we instruct the Trust account holder to distribute monthly within the trust instrument so the easiest thing is the end of the month after the investments post and within 7 days the money is ACH or wired (depending on the banks fees) to the beneficiary - this feels like a one time transfer rather than some automated trust deposit - and they never brought up subsequent deposits so I’m going to stick with my birthday scenario and guess that prior birthday gifts were to a joint account and by April 2020 Miss Suzanne was taking control of her own personal finances and wanted that money for herself
IMO

Maybe. Anything is possible.

I have a funds management account. The interest is transferred annually to an everyday account. One deposit, once a year. Done overnight in a bank batch. On the anniversary of the account opening - not at the beginning or end of the month. Which is why I suggested that as a possibility in this case.

My choices when opening the account were for the interest to stay in the funds management account, or for annual distribution of the interest to another account. I chose the latter.

What kind of Journals? What did they look like. Fancy diary ones?
Where did they find them. At the house? Where did she keep them?
How many have they found?

Who else knew she had these. Who could Identify this collection?

A relative.
IMO
She might be a very consistant journaler, dating her entries, and there are obvious journals missing.

I think people may of seen them, but not read them. I am not sure if they mean " She did not write anything about an affair" In the ones they found?
A few may be missing and I can bet she wrote about something. Maybe the 50 things? IMO

It’s hilarious to see it in all in list like this.

Barry Morphew and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Pretty wild that he couldn’t remember where he was when he got word that HIS WIFE IS MISSING!

For sure. MOO there is an undercurrent of connections.
That why I am grateful for straight arrows like Spezze and Stanley.

This confuses me. If they didn’t find ALL journals how do they know they existed and what SM didn’t write about in them ? Or am I reading it wrong? Remember the hotel footage showing BM with a large notebook ? This was after 4 trash dumps, the car wash and 40 minutes at Men’s Wearhouse

https://twitter.com/laurenscharftv/status/1424850082994794501?s=21
Investigators found some journals but not all journals, according to Harris. Suzanne didn't write about the affair in any journal.

https://twitter.com/laurenscharftv/status/1425150297198977035?s=21

BarryMorphew returned back to the hotel with a large notebook with papers that are messy. Then left the hotel 20 minutes later with the notebook in hand with papers neat in hand. He also has changed shirts into a grey t-shirt.

https://twitter.com/ashleykktv/status/1425150258716282882?s=21

From there Grusing says #BarryMorphew goes back to the hotel and brings in a large notebook to his room. He some time in his room then came out. He changed again into a different shirt. He then went to his worksite @KKTV11News #SuzanneMorphew

He just almost thought of everything didn't he. Poor Barry, if only he could have worked up some tears.

It's weird, btw. He changes his shirt every time he goes back to the hotel. How many shirts did he take to Broomfield with him?!

I thought of something else while studying the timeline. That hour he's lurking down at the river's edge, he was washing out the majority of the blood. There was just no way he carted bloody materials across the state, he would have dripped, someone would have noticed bloody rags in a dumpster. He couldn't have used any of the drains in the house, LE would have been able to trace it in the pipes.

I know. I can remember exactly where I was when I learned of dozens of significant events taking place. I imagine most people are the same.

My mother-in-law's family used to eat Squirrel Stew every Sunday night. Her father would go out every Sunday afternoon with his gun and shoot three squirrels. He would bring them back to her mother and she would make Sunday Night Squirrel Stew. I do hope he skinned them before turning them over to his wife to cook. This was in southern Illinois in the 1930's during The Great Depression.

I don't think squirrel and bunny (hasenpfeffer) are as common anymore, but I do know people that take hunting season seriously - Deer, Elk, Duck and Pheasant. They take them to a processor that cuts up the carcass to freeze for meat for their use during the winter.

IMO, Chipmunks are the most vile and destructive creatures I know. They have burrowed extensively twice under two of our concrete patios causing many $ in damage. Right now the concrete has cracked again and dropped at least 4" in many places, the ground around the patio has dropped at least 5-6". I wish I could show you pictures.

Arghhhh:D
Sorry to hear that. It really is new to me. I really hope I haven't offended anyone. I've been educated and I thank you.
To me there's a huge difference between necessity and 'sport'.
In regard to BM, I also think leaving small dead critters (doubt there was time enough to collect ALL of them), a dead turkey and partial deer carcasses would only attract larger prey - like a mountain lion, for instance.

I wonder why they referred to it as “secret”? Simply because Barry didn’t know about it?

She may have been selling items on Marketplace for pin money. I’d be interested in knowing the balance of this secret account.

I suppose the defense team is using it to support their fantasy scenario where Suzanne was stashing money to head to Ecuador. Or something like that.
Love the term “pin money” my mom always called it the “cash stash” even as a teenager she encouraged me to have cash at the ready. Still do….

I reckon he parked further away so as not to alert her.
I was just trying to figure some things out and look at it all angles, have considered headphones, her being inside (the sheets that were stripped) - maybe she didn't give a chipmonkeys whether he was home or not, she said it herself 'couldn't care less what you do, and haven't done for years.' (Something similar)
I wish it had been different for her and her girls. :(

Text messages between SO and SM -

# Peoples Exhibit 6
– “I can’t handle the unstableness. The day he cut his leg he accused me of wanting to go back to town to get his meds and talk to someone. I came back with I can’t question you about another but you can me? He literally opened his car door while I was driving up the mountain like he was going to jump. His usual tactic when I bring up another”; “Macy mentioned us separating today or divorcing. She wants us happy. She is tired of the tension”; He plays the hurt one”; “Says he loves me and can’t handle the pain from me not giving him the love he needs” Discussion about physical abuse, pushing SM into closet, putting gun to his head and saying “is this what you want?”

# Peoples Exhibit 8 – “I feel no peace when he is here

# Peoples Exhibit 9 – “I feel numb”; “I wouldn’t feel safe alone with him”. Discussion about plan for MaM to graduate and then SM filing for divorce. Uses “control mechanisms” -> As per SAH, “he would use girls to keep SM in marriage”.

# Peoples Exhibit 10 – Discussion about MaM living @ PP and MalM in Gunnison d/t school.

# Peoples Exhibit 11 – “Not sure he could take high road

# Peoples Exhibit 12/13 – “I tried to hold on for Macy

# Peoples Exhibit 14 – “He wants me to be the bad guy”; “I stood my ground… He left again”; “Told him I am done. That I need peace”. Discussion that end of marriage would have to be SMs fault.

# Peoples Exhibit 17 – “Stressful marriage”. BM asked SM “How will you pay for medical bills if you leave?

(# Peoples Exhibits 18-26 – Text message screenshots 2019 - 2020 between SM and SO.)

# Peoples Exhibit 19: “She (MaM) sees how he is towards me and almost begged me to divorce him”; “My heart aches for them both in different ways

# Peoples Exhibit 20: “But dealing with a narc”; “Macy said mom we could move to Salida and both get jobs this summer

# Peoples Exhibit 22: “She even mentioned a restraining order” (MaM).

# Peoples Exhibit 23: “Jekyll and Hyde”, calm and angry, rage and really angry. Discussion about 70x7 forgiveness that SM mentioned in the text messages. Matthew 18:21-22 in the new King James version of the Bible reads: Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

# Peoples Exhibit 25: “He won’t speak of divorce. Begging for another chance”.

# Peoples Exhibit 26: Discussion that daughters were center for SMs world.
I know I am way behind on these wages...way behind!

I'm glad I didn't just past these pages to the end to read.

Good Lord!! These texts are sobering!!!!!!!!!!

How did she live with him as long as she did???

Just an inquiry he made on Saturday about purchasing a backhoe attachment and a new blade for his Bobcat.
Lauren seems to think that the blade was then replaced.
Was the inquiry made and then the work was immediately done? Or was the inquiry earlier on Saturday and then the work done at lunchtime? Who knows?

Grusing testifies that #BarryMorphew sought information about purchasing a backhoe attachment and a new blade for his Bobcat on May 9, the day before Suzanne disappeared.
https://twitter.com/RussellHaythorn/status/1425139035442356227

At 2 p.m. #BarryMorphew was getting his blade replaced on his bobcat. on Saturday, May 9.
https://twitter.com/LaurenScharfTV/status/1425209298125209605

#BarryMorphew went to the Broomfield WALL and did 11-15 minutes of work. Removed blocks from the retaining wall. This job was for Garrett Construction. The company told Agent Grusing that the job would need a bobcat.
https://twitter.com/LaurenScharfTV/status/1425150730822897676
Interesting to find out Barry's explanation about why this important and urgent job didn't require him to bring his bobcat with him to Broomfield....afterall, he had planned this job in advance. Why no bobcat in Bloomfield....especially after he had it serviced the day before?

I know. I can remember exactly where I was when I learned of dozens of significant events taking place. I imagine most people are the same.

Case in point, I remember where I was and who I was with the day OJ killed Nicole and Ron. The white bronco chase was still going on when the movie let out. I do not remember what I saw. Clearly OJ was more interesting.

I say this without any victim blaming but I wish she would have just picked up and went to her sister's or someone else's house. Ending a relationship is the most dangerous time for a person involved in an abusive situation. Waiting until you're alone together may seem like the adult, mature, civil way to do it (like I am sure SM thought), but it's dangerous. Pick up and leave and then tell them you're not coming back when you have some distance and protection. Obviously it shouldn't be like this but it very often is.
