Should we assume the FBI recorded all of their interviews with BM? Is that standard procedure?

I am confused. The "Spa" where there is a discrepancy in the timeline. Is that where you get chlorine or chemicals for
the Hot Tub? And one poster said their hinky meter came on when the owners were interviewed? She texted to get the "Spa Stuff"?

What stuff? I do not have a hot tube, but I'm not sure it needs too much chlorine or other "Stuff" IMO
It doesn't need copious amts of bleach or chlorine. It needs to be drained, cleaned with diluted bleach or vinegar then rinsed and filled. You can either clean your filter (which is simple) or buy a new one.
I'm still unsure of who texted who about stopping at the spa. It'll all come together soon.

I would absolutely expect that. I’d also expect his meetings with CBI to have been recorded. They were trying to get him to incriminate himself, and it’s always desirable to record, as opposed to merely recall.

Barry could later claim he didn’t say certain things, but audio and video don’t lie.

Squirrels and raccoons are hunted and eaten in Louisiana. However, I have never eaten any.

Watch it, Buddy Teche! Not all of us are killers of humans and animals.

I prefer Gulf shrimps, fried or grilled, but if you know folks that dine on scavenger critters, that's alright with me.

Did Barry prepare his prey for the grille or did he prefer to watch them suffer in his many traps? That may be why he kept everything on his property under his watchful eyes by maintaining cameras everywhere.

Barry is counting on Salida residents to have sympathy because his wife sought a man, whom she previously knew, who showed her proper attention. Infidelity doesn't mean the same as it did when she married Barry. Today's audience is much more sympathizing to the many reasons that led her into loving arms.

This is why I tell you that he planned this kill before moving to Salida.

The DA wants to prove it was passion in the moment but I disagree. He wanted her money. Her mother was married to a Dr at the time. He knew there'd be riches.

Barry planned for everything except not being believed by LEO for he was trained by a wife who agreed with her man until the moment when she didn't. So, he killed her.

The truth will slowly unfold. I solemnly wish for time in my schedule that permitted a move to the area for this trial. I'd pull down my mask so he could see my smile.

He just almost thought of everything didn't he. Poor Barry, if only he could have worked up some tears.

It's weird, btw. He changes his shirt every time he goes back to the hotel. How many shirts did he take to Broomfield with him?!

I thought of something else while studying the timeline. That hour he's lurking down at the river's edge, he was washing out the majority of the blood. There was just no way he carted bloody materials across the state, he would have dripped, someone would have noticed bloody rags in a dumpster. He couldn't have used any of the drains in the house, LE would have been able to trace it in the pipes.
BRILLIANT!

This is FBI Agent Grusing testifying just last month in Durango Colorado about interviewing the Defendant back in 2012. He says back then they didn’t record but a couple of years ago the policy became that if they are assisting a local agency they are to record.
So I would say yes they have tapes. JMO

Or he could have been rinsing spilled tranquilizer, bleach, other chemicals

@Sillybilly has approved this Live discussion with Unmasked due to the guests are CM and LS.

It says 7:00 p.m. today. Not sure what time zone. I’m on Mountain time and it’s showing me 3 hours from now- that will be 6:00 pm for me.

Was this the famous "5"?

I still can’t believe Barry told investigators that on the day of Suzanne’s disappearance he was outside their home shooting and killing animals with a gun. Of all of the things he could’ve said, I’m just flabbergasted. Why not say, “I was doing yard work, I was pulling weeds, I was exercising outside and doing calisthenics?”

On the last day his wife was verifiably alive, he offers to LE that he was killing things with a gun. What the heck? Did someone happen to see him outside with a gun, so he somehow wove that into the shooting chipmunks excuse?

I'm not challenging it at all. I'm just curious about whether SM was actually sunbathing at that moment or if something else could have been up. It might put a different spin on it, if, say, it was a shot from a time she and SL had enjoyed together.
But it sounds as though it's not technically possible for that photo to have been taken unless SM had actually been sunbathing in that moment.

It seems odd to me to be sunbathing in early May in Colorado.

So, now, after a little search, I have historical weather data. Gunnison, CO Weather History | Weather Underground On May 9 at Gunnison-Crested Butte Airport, the max temperature was 64 degrees F at 3-6ish in the pm. (The program jumps to that location for historical data.), with a max wind speed of 21 mph. I don't think I'd be out there sunbathing.

While I was looking at that, in case this is relevant,..... I noticed the temperature was well below freezing at night, i.e. 25 degrees F. It was 25 degrees minimum average the whole of April. This may have presented some challenges if BM was out there digging stuff, because the ground might have been hard. It might also harden up footprints. Gunnison, CO Weather History | Weather Underground I'm not suggesting anyone might find the footprints (although they might), but more that BM might be paranoid about them.

I attended University in this gorgeous state and have sunburned my skin in December. The high/low in Salida/Maysville on May 9, 2020 was 70/33.

Like it matters. He wanted THEM to think she was 'drunk'. So what if she had a cocktail or smoked to alleviate her anxiety. Or maybe she was squinting from the sun and wasn't high at all.
Even after death he needs to control her and other's perception of her. What a sweet guy. If only his closest family could see right through him.

Oh, I think Suzanne was high alright. I think Suzanne was high on life. Love looks like that sparkle on us. There's a twinkle in our eyes, pep in our steps and hope fills us with promise that's within our grasp whether we grab it or not. Hope for the better days that may lay ahead matters.

Barry created a dying of the light in Suzanne that another man ignited. I'm so thankful for Jeff caring enough to give this fine lady attention she deserved.

Curse JL all you want but Suzanne needed the promise of a new day that she sought in another man. She wanted someone she could relate to on an intellectual basis. I can't tell you how sorry I am that there are eight children involved but that's what we have here.

Barry had not right to strip goodness from Suzanne when he killed her while knowing her truths might color our impressions. Trying so much to be gentle here.

I was interested in the comments LS made in tonight's interview about BMs workers telling her that BM watched the trailcams at his home all the time.
Makes me wonder if he pulled them all down and then reinstalled when AM had his search.

I think what SM needed most of all was financial independence. Without that you are counting on people to support you monetarily. Maybe I'm jaded but I wouldn't count on that. JMO.

Isn't Mass Guy's point that BM supposedly spent time with his wife on Saturday. That everything was hunkydory between them. So why the comment 'she LOOKS drunk'. If he was actually there with her for hours - part of the morning, most of the afternoon, all of the evening and overnight until 5am - surely he would know first hand if she had been drinking enough to be drunk.

Oh man, this just occurred to me. Think about this for a second.

This photo was sent about 40 minutes before the prosecution alleged Barry murdered Suzanne.

Grusing testifies that Suzanne sent her lover, Jeff Libler, a photo at 2:03 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Grusing says that #BarryMorphew told them that Suzanne appeared drunk in the photo. Grusing says it's the last 'proof of life' for Suzanne.

May 9th while #BarryMorphew was away #SuzanneMorpehw was sending LinkedIn messages to Jeff Libler. Investigators showed a picture Suzanne sent to Jeff to Barry, he said she "looked drunk" and she had "drunk eyes"
Investigators say this is the last sign of Suzanne being alive

Now, Barry would claim Suzanne was alive and well when he returned home, so he should know her condition, and he shouldn’t be deducing anything from a photo.

She was drunk on their wonderful day together, or she was not. It’s not complicated.

So I’d like to hear this entire interview, because I can totally see him getting in a jam with this line of questioning.

And Lauren caught even more to BM’s “ drunk eyes “ comment:

This picture is the last PROOF OF LIFE of #Suzannemorphew Barry looked at the photo and allegedly told investigators she looked drunk. Described her eyes as drunk eyes, "it would take the edge off for the night."

What the heck is that last quote supposed to mean!?

And yep you'd think he would cherish that last photo of her, looking so vibrant and alive - if he truly "loved her to death" as he claimed.
