Thank you @Niner, @OldCop, @oviedo for all the time and effort you put into creating the timeline.

Here is what I am trying to understand: BM contacts MM1 @12:05 and then there is no further familial contact until Mr. Ritter contacts him at 5:15 to tell him Suzanne is missing. Why did they leave Barry out of the loop leading up to 5:15? Obviously the girls were concerned; they contacted MM2's boyfriend to check out the house, they contacted their friend's step mother, brought the neighbors into the loop. Why not Barry?

The meat will be exposed in the preliminary to reach the presumption great test so the AA will have less value after the preliminary and that is when I think it will be released.... if this proceeds to trial...in redacted form. If it doesn't go to trial it has no value as the prosecution will need to tighten their case before they obtain another arrest warrant.

No need to think about it… there’s a judicial order that answers when the AA will be released.

The order filed Friday states the sealing of the affidavit is to protect the victims and witnesses in this case. The court also wants to prevent harassment, abuses or intimidation of the victims, and their right to be treated with fairness, respect and dignity.

The order will expire 7 days after the conclusion of the Proof Evidence Presumption Great Hearing and Preliminary Hearing, which is scheduled to be completed on August 24, 2021. The court has concerns with the amount of information in the 130-page affidavit.

Maybe they were expired doses.

Then why not take it to a medical center or vet that has medical waste disposal facilities? Why drive with it all over his patch of CO? He just happened to find the expired doses in his pocket during his trash dumps?

Even though the order expires a week after the PEPG hearing, could it be released sooner, like when he's bound over for trial? Would the week after expiration date have been put in, just in case the hearing goes longer or is delayed for some reason?

Another thing I would like to know more about is the "appointment" at DSI to repair the Bobcat. Barry never mentioned the appointment to Suzanne when he asked her to go hiking, as in,"I have x amount of time to hike because I have to take Bob in at 2:00". Did he take Bob to the beach jobsite that day? Did he mention the "appointment" to MG and the reason for it? I thought JP stated that Barry came in to use DSI's shop to make a repair to Bob, the owner of DSI was out of town and JP found it strange that Barry was asking him about working for him on Monday, knowing his boss was out of town. JMO.

I'm half expecting a version of :

'Let me tell you what happened, I was shooting at chipmunk, um, 82 and I missed and caught S in the arm, I had to run round after her in case she fell, I caught her and took her up to M's room to sleep it off. Whilst she was sleeping I popped to S.S and S or DSI for a mechanical thingy on the bobcat. Got back we had a 'perfect night'. I left 5am for work.
The rest is everyone else setting me up and mishandling evidence, they're all meth heads'.

Awful thing is, I think some of that truly happened :(

Great point. I have been wondering this all along, too.

His multiple [fake] texts and calls earlier seem incongruous with this 5 hour radio silence.

And if he had just found out about JL- no texts to him, or any of her FB contacts?

This makes no sense for what he claimed had happened.

I agree. You also have BM disconnect exiting power to his truck after that visit in what might have been an attempt to wipe the vehicle data. As well as BM admitting to LE that he forgot about a mechanical thing he did to his bobcat, which could have also been that DSI visit.

Seems fishy imo.

Great question. That would be wonderful, but I don’t know.

Hoping one of our attorneys that has been following recently will chime in. @Seattle1 @gitana1 @Alethea

Going over text messages between SM and her best friend SO about SM wanting to leave the marriage. SM says she needs to wait until youngest daughter is out of the house, etc.

Then SM says she can’t do it until they get the money from the sale of the house in Indiana and she thinks that should be January.

19:56

Also at 22:00 SM texts SO that she had finally got him off the idea of building a house.
Definitely worth the watch. One takeaway is Suzanne texting about Mallory feeling responsible for Barry’s happiness. That may be what we are seeing now in the courtroom. There’s a lot to unpack there.

Well he did call Suzanne and leave a message around 3:30 pm instructing Suzanne to call him. I guess that’s enough in Barry’s book.

Exhausting. o_O To excuse every piece of evidence against BM is exhausting and frustrating for everyone using deductive reasoning.

They spoke to the lady at the dumpster. How close is it to their house that he wouldn’t use it? Is it on a map?

  • #377
That is correct.
Defense is also stating that there were 18 miles missing when BM went to Broomfield and that is probably when he went to Salida Stove and Spa. That makes no sense because they are alleging he went to Salida Stove and Spa sometime between 4:00 and 5:30 on Saturday. He didn’t go to Broomfield until Sunday morning.
Furthermore, Salida Stove and Spa closes at 2:00 on Saturdays.
Defense is relying on memories of owners rather than electronic surveillance or store receipts at this point. We may get further clarification during the next phase of the preliminary hearing next week.
So I guess JP was mistaken when he said Barry was in the store buying chlorine at around 4, 5, or 6:00 pm?

The time came from the proprietors of the store per the defense but the retired FBI agent testifying made it a point to say that he thought they were mistaken as to the time.

I always appreciate @Momofthreeboys input. For me, conversation gets stifled if it's 100% groupthink. This keeps the conversation going and offers us another perspective on the evidence. Let's keep the conversation going (always within TOS of course) and let members put forth their comments that might go against the grain overall. IMO

Throw them in your bin at home then.

And, if you want to avoid unwelcome attention, not straight after your wife disappears
