Got it-had to watch the helicopter video again to see where the chaise lounges were located shortly after Suzanne went missing. Not near the patio with the hot tub. They were moved for the listing photos.
I guess I am sure she was there. Too much "Spa" stuff. Who wants to go into a hot tub. There was a chlorine smell. Sunday, Mothers day? and you have to service the spa. IMO

I recall the night some of us were online here and looking at the old version of the realtor photos when first published. We were commenting on how bad some of the staging was, and while we were reading and posting, the photos we were criticizing were being changed! It was some weird co-ink-a-dinky….
Or someone was reading our posts and changing photos.

Anyone else recall that night?

Lol -- yes. It was like BM pulled out his cellphone and uploaded his own photos ahead of the listing agent. I thought BM owed me an honorable mention in the credits for pointing out what looked like wet, used towels in the master bath! And the terrible lighting! :p

Special Agent Ken Harris is on the stand now. He has been trained in the Behavioral Analysis Unit which lead him to being involved in this case. He was looking into #SuzanneMorphew behaviors to help put pieces together. @KKTV11News

Agent Harris listened to the recordings from the spy pen that was apparently placed in #BarryMorphew truck. He says the recording plays several podcasts from forensic files episodes that they believe Barry was listening to during drives. @KKTV11News #SuzanneMorphew

He says one of the Forensic File episodes was about someone going missing on a bike ride.

Tables then turn to several more recordings about some of the conversations Barry and Suzanne had.
@KKTV11News #BarryMorphew #SuzanneMorphew
SA Harris is continuing to detail the texts between #SuzanneMorphew and her best friend Sheila. Suzanne made a comment that she can't "handle the unstableness"

Texts say sometimes small things would just "set Barry off" and he would leave and come back and be fine. There was another time when #BarryMorphew allegedly brought their daughters into their arguments to pick sides. #SuzanneMorphew @KKTV11News

Harris says Sheila told them #SuzanneMorphew said she was possibly being physically abused by #BarryMorphew. She allegedly told Sheila he pushed her into a closet door and held a gun to her head, on a different occasion he allegedly would pin her on a bed.@KKTV11News

Sheila told investigators that #BarryMorphew would say things like "I'm going to tell the girls you don't love me." SA Harris says that is a control mechanism to try to put the girls against #SuzanneMorphew.@KKTV11News

Sheila allegedly began to ask #SuzanneMorphew to make a sort of "what if" list about what she would do after her and #BarryMorphew seperated. Texts show Suzanne told Sheila, Barry wanted her to be the bad guy and he wanted to look good. @KKTV11News

SuzanneMorphew allegedly continued to tell #BarryMorphew that she needed peace and wanted out. Says she wanted to wait until their daughter Macy was out of the house. @KKTV11News

Sheila and #SuzanneMorphew talked about a time when Suzanne would talk about leaving #BarryMorphew would ask her who would pay for her medical bills from her cancer treatments. @KKTV11News

Sheila told SA Harris that #SuzanneMorphew was in the middle of her chemo treatments while she and #BarryMorphew were fighting. @KKTV11News

Sheila and #SuzanneMorphew talked about how Suzanne's youngest, Macy, encouraged her to get a divorce and said that Suzanne should get a restraining order against #BarryMorphew if she needed. @KKTV11News

BarryMorphew would allegedly not talk to #SuzanneMorphew about divorce. In a text to her friend she said he begged for another chance, she was torn but said "in my heart I know who he is."

Thank you so much for this.
I hadn't seen before how he would leave and come back being/acting fine. To me, that suggests he was either using drugs or he took some time to think about the bigger picture - meaning, killing her to make out like a bandit - stay in control.
Or, a combination of the two.

So, the first story that was told was she went on a bike ride. And the first thing they found was the bike? But no SM or no Teal Blue Helmet? With her contact info in it.
It is on a road that she would not have ever gone on, maybe 3 times. The Helmet was found 4 days later .84 miles from the bike. Very visible. I am sure they searched
that area over the four days? But if you drive up and jump out and abduct her, the last thing you are going to do is struggle to get her helmet off and through it
.84 miles away from where you just snuck up and abducted her.
Exactly. First, you’re probably not going to take the time to conceal the bike in the first place. It’s hard enough to control a person, let alone control a person and toss a bike.

The priority is making a clean getaway.

The bike should have been laying right where she was “kidnapped,” and the helmet should be on her head, or (extremely unlikely) near the bike.

Barry needed the bike to be hidden though, so as to delay its discovery so he could put distance between himself and the bike (alibi).

The helmet was some bizarre move that made sense only to him.

I don't think the mountain lion would either. IMO

Wait, what? The firehouse has tranquilizer darts????

Wildland firefighting requires wildlife management. I can't imagine that a fire station in the area would not have darts. In places where there are bears and mountain lions, I think it's common/typical for both FF and LE to have tranquilizer darts.

Where I live, though, the task of removing wildlife from dangerous situations (for them or for others) has fallen to firefighters. I assume it's part of the kit of any firefighting unit in CO. Lots of wildlife. And wounded wildlife are often tranquilized and transported for care.

Yes, but he could have gotten the darts from the firehouse? Is that correct?
I’m hesitant to say that is correct, based on experience.

He packed all of his trash? All of her Biking clothes? And the helmet? Thought about the helmet, looked through his trash runs?
He had the clothes? IMO

Anyone have an idea why BM changed clothes so many times at the hotel?
Miss America doesn't have that many wardrobe changes.

What makes him take the helmet out and whip it .84 miles from the home but then take the other things to Bloomfield and dispose of them. What is his thought process there? Why not leave some clothing with the helmet?

I am starting to feel uneasy about the write-up. That's how rumors are created and that is definitely not my intention and I don't want to be responsible for something like that. I also saw that the tweets from the courtroom said someone going missing while riding bike; i made that someone female in my write-up. I don't know... I was worried about this happening. It was hard to follow and keep up with...
The difference between news reports/journalist's tweets and a person actually being in the courthouse is huge.
You got to see and feel the affect and syntax of those both asking questions and those answering them as opposed to tweets that most times were hurried and many times were in direct conflict of who said what to who, especially where texts/tweets are concerned.
PLEASE don't edit yourself. If you feel the need to add an asterisk to your personal observations that's fine.
I feel those observations are invaluable and very much appreciated. :)

I don’t know if we can decide where she was sunbathing unless someone here would like to research the position of the sun around 2:45 pm mt, on May 9th, 2020 on Puma Path in Maysville, CO. As we can see from these photos provided by @MassGuy, the hot tub can be in dark shadow at certain times of the day. In May, the sun can be quite warm even if the air temp is cool, but you could be downright chilly sitting in the shade in a swimsuit.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they dragged the loungers around to get the best sun position on any given day/time.

I suspect he went back up to the roadway to throw the helmet during a second trip, after an original trip up there to place the bike over the hill. It was an afterthought. If the bike wasn’t visible from the road, and it was dark, he may have had to guess exactly where he had staged it. And he was driving, so as not to be caught pulled over on the road, and just tossed it out the window.

As to not leaving clothes, I think he wanted it to seem she’d been abducted into a car, rather than attacked and assaulted on the roadside.

Meth? Who knows. He was harried. He'd killed his wife and he's not the brightest bulb, sharpest tool in the shed.
Who else would've left her helmet where it could be found? It's just plain stupid.
BM thought he was leaving a crumb trail for idiots. Just like 'THE BIKE'.

Because, I don't think the helmet was there at first. It was very visible and they searched that area. It was not found for 4 days. If there was clothing, .84 miles away,
I would give you maybe a mountain lion. Clothes no. That's why the helmet makes no since. There are no skid marks or brake marks you might expect if you were to run someone off the road?
Struggle with them. Abduct them. Big cats leave big paws. If one drug you .84 miles, there would be more than a helmet. If you were an abductor, you would not throw anything
away in .84 miles. That is why I think that all those male facebook friend requests, were to paint a bigger suspect of abduction pool. IMO

I’m sure we are going to hear the prosecution theory on this next week. Perhaps he was cleaning his truck or tools with chlorine, and it necessitated a change.

That wouldn’t account for so many changes though. Perhaps he was making a feeble attempt to conceal his identity or something.

Something about Barry and wet, used towels in the bathroom.
Like at HIE, too.
